Located in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location.
The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable.
The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate.
It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

The room was great, the bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the shower offered good privacy. The tea was surprisingly delicious. Right downstairs is the City God Temple pedestrian street, so it was a little noisy, but not a big issue. The breakfast looked diverse, but honestly, none of it tasted very good. They should consider reducing the variety and focusing on quality instead.

ScarletTheWandererEmbraced by the beauty of the mountains, this hotel is a true gem, offering panoramic views of bamboo forests from each room. The common dining area is a visual delight, adorned with tasteful furnishings and bathed in ample natural light. Our stay was elevated by the genuinely warm and accommodating staff, who went above and beyond to provide insightful recommendations for exploring the area.
Despite not having a car, the hotel's strategic location allowed us to embark on a delightful on-foot adventure. A scenic hike from the hotel unveiled a hidden gem—a breathtaking waterfall that added an extra layer of enchantment to our stay. Moreover, a leisurely walk down the mountain led us to a charming village nestled on the edge of a vast lake, creating the perfect setting for a tranquil sunset stroll.
Our overall experience at this haven was nothing short of magical. The thoughtful details, combined with the friendly staff and natural wonders surrounding the hotel, made it a memorable retreat. We can genuinely say this place exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning our return. Highly recommended for those seeking a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and warm hospitality.

Guest UserThe panoramic terrace suite we booked this time was definitely the best room in the entire hotel. Apparently, there are only two such suites in total, one on the sixth floor and one on the seventh. We got the one on the seventh floor, which is the outermost top-floor position shown in the first picture. The great thing about this location is that it's far from the central area, making it very quiet (the pool area can get quite noisy with activities). The view towards the reservoir is completely open, filled with lush greenery, and the scenery is fantastic. The terrace on the seventh floor is smaller than the one on the sixth, but in exchange, the indoor space is an entire extra room larger. During this Dragon Boat Festival, it was hot and rainy, so having this extra air-conditioned room turned out to be even more practical than the terrace.
I was quite satisfied with the room's facilities and layout. However, there was one issue: on both nights, large flying insects (beetles) somehow got into the room. It seems like there might be a gap somewhere that isn't properly sealed (I don't think we let them in when opening the door, as bugs this size would be very noticeable). I suggest the hotel checks this.
The hotel offers a wealth of activities suitable for families. This time, we mainly enjoyed the lake boat ride, the swimming pool, and go-karts. My child loved it and had a great time, insisting I give a five-star review!
Regarding dining, the breakfast quality doesn't quite match that of a typical five-star hotel, though the variety is decent. The hotel's Chinese restaurant offers average, run-of-the-mill lunch and dinner options, and the prices aren't too expensive. Driving half an hour to Zhenhai offers more choices.
The hotel's butler service was quite attentive, and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. The small gift received upon check-out was also a nice touch. Overall, our experience this time was very good.

HepbyfNestled in a bamboo-ringed mountain hollow, Xikou Manxiugu B&B ingeniously tucks each forest villa into the hillside, creating a unique and secluded haven. Staying in these hollow villas, you can enjoy snow in winter, mist in spring, cicadas in summer, and autumn leaves, truly embracing the wild. You can imagine yourself as a free bird in the forest or an uninhibited 'wildling' from ancient times, far from the hustle and bustle. Wake up to the morning sun, watch the sunset in the evening, sip tea leisurely, enjoy a glass of wine at night, listen to the rain on the leaves, chat with friends, find romance with a loved one, or simply gaze at the starry sky. It’s simply delightful! I come back every other year for a few days; I arrive feeling weary and leave feeling completely refreshed.
The villas at Manxiugu are diverse in style and shape – from two-story Gothic-inspired spires to charming Baroque wooden cabins. Each room has a pleasant woody fragrance that ensures a peaceful night's sleep. On hot days, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear infinity pool. And the chef's culinary skills are truly exceptional – the food is delicious, not greasy, and incredibly appetizing, all at a reasonable price, so there's no need to dine out. The service philosophy is guest-first, with every request met and every detail handled until you're completely satisfied. I especially want to thank Miss Xiaoyu, who thoughtfully carried our bags and helped us, who aren't so young anymore, settle in comfortably. My detailed rambling is simply because my stay was so comfortable and satisfying, so I highly recommend everyone give it a try!

HuyangThis Xiangshan vacation was a perfect stay! The hotel has been open for some years, but the common areas, pool, and room facilities are all incredibly well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The rooms are spotless, not a speck of dust even in the corners. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, with fresh seafood noodles and local snacks. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Shi, who was always available for any requests, proactively helped deliver supplies, and explained the beach tour routes. Our entire stay was delightful, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Guest UserI absolutely have to give a shout-out to Nicole at the front desk! She made our stay truly exceptional, with service that went above and beyond.
I was a bit tired when I arrived, and Nicole immediately greeted me with such a warm and infectious smile. While checking in, she chatted with me like a friend. When she learned I wanted a lake view, she promptly upgraded me to a room with an even better angle. She even thoughtfully marked the cycling route around Dongqian Lake and the sunrise times on my room key, which was more practical than any guide!
Throughout my stay, she remembered my surname and always greeted me whenever she saw me. When I checked out, I left my charger behind, and she called me immediately and arranged for express delivery – so professional and efficient. Honestly, the beautiful hardware of the Park Hyatt and the stunning scenery of Dongqian Lake were expected, but Nicole's perfectly tailored care added such a personal touch to this vacation.
Service is the soul of a luxury hotel, and Nicole is truly the best ambassador for Park Hyatt. Next time I'm in Ningbo, I will definitely stay here again just because of her. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Dongqian Lake!

An unforgettable stay experience! The room type is very unique. Although it cannot match the facilities of star hotels in terms of positioning, it is generally clean and tidy, with bathtubs, air conditioning, ventilation fans and other facilities (the facilities in different lofts are different, you can contact the hotel to confirm before checking in). In addition to the tree frog, you can There is Zhongcun, a five-minute drive down the mountain from Liwanxishuiwai Hotel. There is a river in the village and you can trace it. It is very convenient to eat or buy snacks and drinks. The most recommended thing is the night exploration activity. It starts at 7:30 in the evening and is led by a teacher. , I saw a lot of interesting little animals, and even saw a red snake huddled in the gap! Add a lot of fun to a dull mountain night. 👍
