It makes people feel at home, especially the proprietress is very talkative. When I parted, I recommended a good place for food and left a good memory. GGuest UserThe hotel has a large room and the rooms not facing the main road are quiet. The service is very good. There is sufficient free parking space. Breakfast is mainly chinese style including the instant coffee. It’s a reasonable priced hotel located somewhat outside central areas so you need a taxi or car to go around.

GGuest UserThe hygiene was decent, although there were some minor stains on the duvet, but for a B&B, I don't expect perfection. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Qinghui Garden. It's in a small alley just behind the sidewalk, not too far in, and the soundproofing is good; I couldn't hear any honking from the street at night. The soundproofing between rooms is average, largely depending on how noisy the neighbors are. Overall, it's great value for money. The owner proactively recommended local food and attractions and even offered free luggage storage. They accommodated all my requests, like a room away from the elevator and an extra blanket. For two people, it didn't feel cramped, and the lighting was sufficient. The only minor drawback was only having one chair; since it's a queen-sized bed room for two, an additional chair would be a thoughtful touch.
Minor imperfections aside, what more could you ask for at just over a hundred yuan a night? 🥰 It's perfect for budget-traveling students, with lots of places to shop nearby. Uncle Hua's Coffee and Minxin Old Shop are right across the street. Most importantly, being able to sleep peacefully is a huge plus!

But the room was not clean enough, the bathroom had used paper towels, and the floor of the room did not seem to have been sucked. Since the price is also cheap, the price/performance ratio is OK.

The mattress was just the right firmness, the pillows were comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. GGuest UserSimply amazing! Two words that perfectly describe this hotel.
Firstly the location. It was so convenient and economical to be able to just take the metro all the way from Guangzhou to the Huangshi North subway station. We even managed to do this on our one day Guangzhou pass! Out the exit and there is the hotel - practically right in front of the station!
Then there was the superb service. The couple running the hotel were unbelievably helpful. They took every request we made very seriously and truly tried their best to fulfill it. Nothing was considered too difficult for them.
Being independent travellers and foreigners we found this to be a Godsend. We were very happy with their recommendations of where and what to eat as Shunde is a foodie paradise.
The bedroom and bathroom offered all the amenities we required and were well-maintained and clean. We had a good night’s sleep on the oh so comfortable bed.
For the price we paid we couldn’t have asked for more.

The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He also helped us look after our luggage. 4. The surrounding environment is very quiet and you can get a good rest. In addition, the price is not expensive (there is no price increase during the Dragon Boat Festival). Compared with hotels in the same period, it is cost-effective.
