"We brought our daughter and a friend to the Sofitel Louvre for a weekend getaway. The hotel's decor is luxurious and elegant, with a strong French ambiance. Every detail is exquisite and captivating, making it perfect for photos. The 11th-floor Le Bar offers stunning views, with expansive high-altitude scenery. Although the outdoor lawn is for viewing only and not for recreation, it's a very pleasant spot to relax and chat. The staff at Le Bar were gentle, attentive, and responded promptly, treating guests with humility and politeness. The concierge and front desk team were professional and efficient, handling check-ins, luggage storage, and route inquiries with patience and meticulousness, always proactively helping to coordinate any requests. I also managed to experience the hotel's SPA; the environment was quiet and elegant, and the therapist's techniques were professional and soothing, relieving days of fatigue. The experience was excellent. I'd particularly like to commend Nicole from Guest Relations in the lobby. She was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, proactively introducing the hotel's amenities and kindly recommending areas suitable for family relaxation. Her communication was both gentle and professional. Our room was clean and tidy, and the swimming pool, fitness center, and other facilities were all excellent. From the hardware facilities to the service from every staff member, everything was impeccable. It's a perfect choice for families traveling together. Our stay this time was a perfect 10, and it's definitely worth revisiting."

"Overall, my stay was extremely satisfying! The hotel's location is excellent, with a plethora of dining options nearby, making it incredibly convenient for meals and shopping. Pros: - **Exceptional Service**: All my special requests made during booking were perfectly accommodated. They successfully arranged connecting rooms, a non-smoking floor, and even granted a late check-out. The staff's service attitude and efficiency were outstanding. - **Spacious & Well-Equipped**: I stayed on a renovated floor, and the room was very spacious, feeling open and not at all cramped. The air conditioning was incredibly powerful, able to reach a satisfyingly low temperature, which was a blessing for someone sensitive to heat. Cons: - **Details Needing Improvement**: Although the room interior had been renovated, the bathroom clearly hadn't been updated alongside it, appearing a bit old-fashioned. - The bathroom door didn't close smoothly and tended to not shut completely unless forced. Summary: Despite the minor flaws with the bathroom and door, these issues didn't overshadow the positives. The excellent location, spacious rooms, and attentive service made this a truly enjoyable stay. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"Our stay was great overall. The hotel's fish tank display was a unique feature that our child absolutely loved. The third floor also has a well-equipped kids' play area where children can have a blast, making it perfect for a weekend one-night family getaway. The room was comfortable. A special shout-out to Jennifer – she proactively contacted me before check-in and after we arrived, we received a lovely hand-drawn welcome card. She also thoughtfully recommended local specialty foods, saving us the trouble of planning. Her service was attentive and thorough, and her attitude was professional and caring, making the whole trip easy and enjoyable. "InterContinental has captured the shimmering waters of Qiandeng Lake right within its floor-to-ceiling windows. The lake view, like a flowing poem, instantly washes away all my worries. The room was clean and tidy, and the upgraded corner room offered an excellent view. Andy and Richard were incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. The biggest surprise was the special cocktail at the lounge – a ginger-pineapple spritzer. The gradient of the pineapple's bright yellow and the ginger's amber hue looked like a sunset bottled up. The first sip was a sweet burst of pineapple, followed by a gentle hint of ginger spice on the finish, with bubbles dancing on the tongue. After checking out, I received a polite call asking about my experience. The value for money was an unexpected delight, and the complex flavors of that drink alone were enough to highlight my trip. Simply wonderful!"

"Loved my stay here! The lake-view room offered stunning views of Yayee Park and a distant glimpse of Foshan TV Tower. The room was spacious and bright, with smart controls that were easy to use. It was impeccably clean and tidy, and the hot water was plentiful and consistent. Plus, the minibar drinks were complimentary! The hotel is very thoughtful; on the 13th floor, next to the laundry room, there's a scenic corridor where you can relax and enjoy the view while waiting for your clothes. Breakfast was also high-quality, a great blend of Western and Chinese options. They even had local Foshan specialties like Chen Cun noodles and Lun Jiao cakes, alongside toast and salad. I didn't have time to try the gym or the infinity pool this time, but I'll definitely make sure to next visit. The front desk staff and the manager in black were incredibly genuine and attentive, patiently answering my questions with a smile. They even recommended Qixiangji, a local chicken restaurant, which turned out to be fantastic!"

Not only did he efficiently and professionally handle the check-in process, but he also enthusiastically chatted with me about updates from our hometown. That sense of familiarity truly warmed my heart. What touched me even more was that after learning it was my first time in this city, he proactively helped me plan my itinerary for the next few days. The restaurants and attractions he recommended were very authentic, the kind of 'insider tips' only a fellow townsman would share. Honestly, when traveling and staying in hotels, the most dreaded thing is cold, standardized service. The 1.7-meter deep swimming pool was a real highlight."

"I was in Foshan for a business trip this time. My first two nights at the Marriott in Shunde were excellent, so I wanted to try the Marriott in Qiandeng Lake for the next two nights, but unfortunately, it was fully booked. So I decided to try Courtyard by Marriott, a brand under the same group. I found that the room I booked at Courtyard was also fantastic, despite not having a bathtub, which it wasn't supposed to have anyway! I was very satisfied with the room the front desk lady arranged for me! I could see the brightly lit night market and clusters of illuminated buildings of Qiandeng Lake at night. The room itself was clean, tidy, bright, and spacious. The location is great too; it's just a short walk to explore Qiandeng Lake in the evening. The breakfast was also pretty good; the chef was creative, offering not only common Chinese and Western dishes but also traditional Foshan dim sum to try! A special, special thank you goes to Shirley at the front desk. Her service was not only warm and enthusiastic, but her genuine smile was also lovely. When I was working in the lobby lounge, she would also check in on me and offer assistance at appropriate times, making me feel incredibly at home! Highly recommend it!! Out of the three hotels I stayed in on this business trip, Shirley's service left the deepest impression!! I hope Courtyard can properly commend her, and I wish friends who read this review that they'll also encounter Shirley when they stay at Courtyard."
