The hotel's French design creates an incredible atmosphere, and the public areas are luxurious and exquisite – perfect for snapping some great photos. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept soundly. BART at the front desk provided attentive and meticulous service, responding promptly to all my requests. The overall service was professional and polite. I booked this for an international client, and thanks to BART's help, my client had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. The high-altitude views are stunning, and the dining quality is excellent. It's a great choice whether you're on a short trip or a leisure stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Foshan. Highly recommended!"

"An old hotel with outdated facilities, though well-maintained. The bathroom didn't have a separate shower and toilet area, and the old-fashioned bathtub made it inconvenient to get in and out. The hotel later moved me to a room with a shower and a smart toilet. The lobby manager was on top of things, very enthusiastic in their service, and handled the situation promptly. A minor complaint: I was charged 9 RMB to print a single airline itinerary at the front desk. Shouldn't this be a complimentary service for hotel guests? Also, drinks in the minibar cost money, with Coke and Sprite priced at 18 RMB each. The hotel has a large number of African and Indian guests, which is quite characteristic of Guangdong. It's conveniently located with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby, and the Ancestral Temple and Lingnan Tiandi are just a stone's throw away."

"Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities are still well-maintained. The fish tank in the lobby must have been a fantastic design back in the day; even with a limited variety of fish, it's enough to delight children for a good while. There are kids' facilities, and the pool isn't deep, making it suitable for families with young children. The rooms are spacious, and we didn't notice any unpleasant odors in our non-smoking room. The breakfast selection is also extensive, making it excellent value for money."

"Loved my stay here! The lake-view room offered stunning views of Yayee Park and a distant glimpse of Foshan TV Tower. The room was spacious and bright, with smart controls that were easy to use. It was impeccably clean and tidy, and the hot water was plentiful and consistent. Plus, the minibar drinks were complimentary! The hotel is very thoughtful; on the 13th floor, next to the laundry room, there's a scenic corridor where you can relax and enjoy the view while waiting for your clothes. Breakfast was also high-quality, a great blend of Western and Chinese options. They even had local Foshan specialties like Chen Cun noodles and Lun Jiao cakes, alongside toast and salad. I didn't have time to try the gym or the infinity pool this time, but I'll definitely make sure to next visit. The front desk staff and the manager in black were incredibly genuine and attentive, patiently answering my questions with a smile. They even recommended Qixiangji, a local chicken restaurant, which turned out to be fantastic!"

"On my 9th stay at the Swiss-Belhotel Hengan, I once again enjoyed their five-star service. We booked a two-night, three-day twin room, and when the hotel learned we were traveling with a child, they thoughtfully upgraded us to a business room free of charge. The room was spacious enough for our child to play happily, and they even provided kid's amenities. We were also touched that the hotel provided a capsule coffee machine, making it convenient to enjoy coffee in the room! For the past few years, whenever I have the chance, I love staying at this hotel right on my doorstep. It's conveniently located, has a beautiful environment, offers attentive service, and pays attention to details. The photo in figure 3, taken from the window in the room, turned out amazing! Definitely deserves a five-star rating! 👍👍👍"

"This time, I traveled with friends, and we communicated in advance hoping to get rooms on the same floor. Andy was incredibly helpful and managed to arrange everything beforehand. We were assigned to the same floor directly upon check-in, which was very convenient for socializing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the overall environment was excellent, and the executive lounge experience was great. The staff were friendly, service responses were prompt, and attention to detail was excellent. In our free time, we could also explore the gym and children's play area; the facilities are comprehensive. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this place again next time!"

"Staying at the Marriott Foshan, right in the heart of Qiandeng Lake, is truly a top-tier luxury experience! The front desk staff upgraded my room to one with a balcony. The location, view, and service are all exceptional. I fell in love with it after just one stay. Opening the door, I was immediately amazed by the floor-to-ceiling windows and the balcony overlooking Qiandeng Lake. During the day, the lake view is stunning, and in the evening, when the lights come on, the night view is breathtaking. The warm lighting creates a wonderful ambiance, and the bedding is so soft, like sinking into clouds – I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. The marble bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a huge bathtub, and high-end amenities. All the facilities at this five-star hotel are comprehensive, so no need to pack a ton of luggage for business trips. Don't miss the panoramic glass dome pool on the 5th floor, and the fully equipped gym + yoga room!"

"Looking for a quick weekend getaway without leaving town, my husband and I spontaneously booked the Grand Hyatt. It's perfectly located right above Shunlian Plaza, making shopping and dining a breeze – ideal for a short, relaxing break. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; just a few steps out the door, you'll find bubble tea, hot pot, and clothing stores, so there's no need to drive around. The lobby is spacious and inviting, without the stiff formality you sometimes find in high-end hotels. Even the cleaning staff would proactively greet us when passing by. We booked a city view king room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, allowing us to enjoy the entire commercial district's nightscape. The cleanliness was impeccable; even sofa crevices and windowsills were spotless. The fridge also thoughtfully provided complimentary bottled water. The outdoor pool on the fourth floor wasn't crowded, and swimming in the evening breeze was incredibly comfortable. The changing rooms were clean and odor-free. The breakfast selection catered to local tastes, featuring authentic 'Bula Changfen' (rice noodle rolls), 'Shuangpinai' (double-skin milk pudding), and 'Shaomai' (dumplings) – all tasting as good as what you'd find in a local tea house. The staff weren't overly enthusiastic to the point of being awkward, and when we called for room service, they responded very quickly. The self-service gym was well-equipped, perfect for a light workout to burn off calories after a day of eating and exploring. With its affordable price and comprehensive amenities, this is definitely our top choice for a local change of scenery and relaxation."

This remarkable hotel features 258 tastefully decorated rooms and suites, either overseeing Shunfeng Moutain Park or the spectacular city view,with superior location and convenient transportation, the hotel has easy access to many popular entertainment attractions such as OCT Happy Coast Plus, Changdeer Tourism Leisure Expo Park, Qinghui Garden, and HE ART Museum.
"👍 Pros: As expected from an international brand hotel, it's definitely worth the extra 200 yuan compared to nearby hotels. The service is exceptional; as soon as we arrived, staff helped with our luggage to the front desk, and at checkout, they proactively assisted in loading our bags into the taxi. The front desk staff were professional and managed to attend to every guest despite being busy. I was also lucky enough to get upgraded to a lake view room on my first stay. Based on these excellent services alone, I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Although the hotel facilities show signs of age and some fading, the cleanliness is a world apart from hotels in Shenzhen costing 500-600 yuan. This level of quality would easily cost over a thousand yuan per night abroad. 👉 Areas for Improvement (Dining): The breakfast offers a wide variety and looks appealing, but the taste could be improved; it felt a bit wasteful. Also, the restaurant is clearly understaffed, with the congee station often unattended. The chefs' attitude was also rather mediocre. 👎 Major Deductions (Pool): The worst part of the entire hotel is the swimming pool! I suspect the hotel outsourced it to other coaches for swimming lessons, likely to generate revenue. They require swim caps but don't provide them to guests. The pool only has three lanes, and one is given over to the training class, with extra students even encroaching on the remaining two. The pool lighting is very dim, and for a hotel of this caliber, there's no staff or attendant at the pool entrance. As a guest, I felt like I was being treated poorly, having to make way for the swimming students. It's important to remember that a major reason I chose your hotel was for the pool, and the experience was utterly disappointing!"
