Florence Hotels with Private Pools

"I booked total 14 days for a same room, I just request make up room services 2 times only, that why my room face tissue and toilet tissue use finished, so I ask for more 2 boxes face tissue and 2 rolls toilet tissue, but a male room service staff don’t give and say need exchange one box face tissues for one roll toilet tissue and then I walk in complain this case with reception female staff, finally she give me back 2 rolls toilet tissue, but her attitude so bad sit say me wrong use words describe toilet tissue only, may I ask all room customer if case like this make sense or not? Original I gave them full mark comment for this hotel, now I trade back my original comment and give them lower mark comment first until after 2 days when I leave this hotel and they do back good attitude and improve for their service and then I will give back them good comments! I am very easy handle person just say actually things only!"

"This hotel was amazing! We had such a great time soaking up the sun in the pool and having sunset drinks at the bar. The room was comfortable and had most amenities. An iron had to be requested though and the TV required a streaming connection rather than local stations which can make it as good background noise etc. Service was friendly from check in to check out! Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with lots of farmed produce. Would have loved more continental options or pancakes! Must try the yoghurt. Restaurant was good for dinner and service. Few less quirky items would be recommended - the only ravioli was one with monkfish that I ordered but ate slowly. I'd highly recommend this and hope to visit someday soon again! A 9/10 stay!"

"The hotel is very clean, and there's complimentary water in the room. The soundproofing isn't too bad either. We'll definitely come back, but if you're driving, try to arrive early, otherwise you might not find a parking spot. The paid parking garage is a bit of a downside."

"Hotel Villa Carlotta frustration and inconsistency in price and quality. The hotel has failed to meet the expectations of its price category. It has faced a lot of problems that are completely unacceptable for this level. Main drawbacks: · No elementary convenience: No shoes and coats were in the room. · Horrible settlement organization: No one was on the recipe, no code lock instructions were given. As a result, it had to wet under the rain while waiting for another guest to open the door. · No guest care: There were no umbrellas in rainy weather to get to the main building. · Bad sound isolation: The room is heard all that happens in the corridor and in the neighbors. · Unsatisfactory purity: The cleaning in the room left the desire for the best. Location unconditional plus hotel. Summary: With all these nuances, the price/quality ratio seems not quite balanced. Maybe it is worth considering other accommodation options. ☝🏻"

However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!"

"This is the latest area developed by the entire hotel, with more complete and updated facilities. Compared with the village at the other end of the same hotel where I lived for the previous three days, it is more in line with expectations. The room is bigger, more comfortable, closer to the pool and restaurant. Great holiday experience!"
