"I brought my family to Qingdao West Coast this time, and after comparing several hotels, I chose this one. I truly feel it was excellent value for money after staying here! The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a two or three-minute walk to Golden Beach, where the sand is incredibly fine and soft underfoot. It was so convenient for taking the kids to dig in the sand and play in the water. The Beer City is right next door, which was perfect for a post-dinner stroll to aid digestion. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket, so you don't have to go far to buy water or snacks. For those driving, rest assured the hotel offers free parking with charging stations, saving you extra parking fees – it's completely hassle-free. We booked a sea-view room, and the balcony offered an unobstructed 180-degree view directly overlooking the ocean. We didn't have to wake up early to rush to the beach; we could just open the curtains and watch the sunrise. In the evening, we sat on the balcony, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the lights of Beer City come on – it was perfect for photos. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and it was spotlessly clean. There wasn't a single water mark or speck of dust on the floor or in the bathroom. The bedding was soft and thick, and the mattress was very comfortable. After a full day out, we'd collapse into bed and fall asleep instantly. The smart lock meant no worries about losing or misplacing a room card. We had 24-hour hot water, stable WiFi, a hairdryer, and all basic toiletries provided – it was truly a 'check-in with just your bag' experience. The staff were incredibly genuine and helpful. They responded quickly to messages if we had any issues, and patiently explained routes for beach activities and where to find local seafood markets, without any perfunctory replies. The facilities were also comprehensive; the kids had a blast. There's also a luggage storage service, so we could check out and still store our bags to go for another stroll on the beach. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. The environment and service were top-notch. It's suitable for both couples and family vacations. Next time I visit Golden Beach, I'll definitely choose this place again. I sincerely recommend it to anyone looking to see the sea on the West Coast!"

"Traveling with kids, our last stop in the city led us to this hotel, chosen based on reviews. We stayed for two nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service, in particular, was very thoughtful; we had transfers arranged throughout our stay, and someone proactively offered water and guidance with a smile in the lobby. 1. **Transportation**: The hotel is about 1 kilometer from the subway, which isn't ideal, but they offer shuttle services if you book in advance. On the flip side, it's very close to many popular attractions. A taxi ride usually takes about ten minutes and costs around ten yuan. I found using Didi (ride-hailing app) to be very convenient. 2. **Ambiance**: The hotel environment is also quite nice, with its own small garden and a pool. There's also a children's play area on the ground floor, most of which is free. However, we didn't get to use any of it as we were too pressed for time and had too much sightseeing to do. Our room was generally neat and clean. Although the decor is a bit older, it still felt quite tasteful. We received complimentary fruit and drinks, which were a nice touch. My package included several other amenities like photography and sauna access, but we didn't use them either. 3. **Dining**: The hotel has its own restaurant, so you can dine there or order takeout. Do note that there's a service charge at the restaurant. Breakfast was pretty standard; I was hoping for some seafood options, given it's a coastal city, but there weren't any. 4. **Service**: The soundproofing in the rooms might not be the best, possibly due to the age of the building. Under normal circumstances, it would probably be fine. However, we had the misfortune of having a crying child next door who would wail for 30 minutes to an hour at 5:30 AM and 10:30 PM. We eventually complained to the front desk, and after the manager intervened, it quieted down. So, sometimes, travel experiences also depend on luck. 5. **Feedback**: On our way back, we received a follow-up call from the hotel. Overall, we were quite satisfied. The service, cleanliness, and responsiveness were all good. I hope to visit again during the off-season, when I anticipate better room availability, as it seemed almost fully booked this time. Also, the sea-view rooms are lovely, but unfortunately, it was foggy during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy much of the view – quite a shame!"

"Bearing the Crowne Plaza name, it once must have been glorious. My first stay here was a huge disappointment. The beach near the hotel is truly mediocre. The outdoor family pool is out of service, the Ferris wheel isn't operating, and the surrounding environment is completely different from what I saw in the online videos – a classic case of expectation vs. reality. Breakfast is served one floor below the lobby, and there's no direct elevator access, which is inconvenient for older guests. I had to ask a staff member who led us through a long, disused section of the restaurant, opened a door, took us to an elevator in Zone A to the second-floor lobby, and then we had to walk back to Zone B to catch another elevator. The breakfast selection was extensive, but the taste wasn't up to 4-star standards. The staff were all very nice, but the management is nowhere near 5-star hotel quality. I understand that with lower prices, there are more guests, and they need to cut costs. I definitely won't be returning for a second visit."

"Very enthusiastic B&B owner. It is rare to find such a comfortable and affordable B&B in Laoshan District. It is very convenient to the district center and North Station. The environment is beautiful. It is a 10-minute walk from Qingdao Little Italy. There are convenience stores and cafes around. It is a place where you can enjoy life quietly without lacking convenience. It is a utopia where you can feel the combination of sea and mountain in every season. I look forward to visiting again next time😍"

"Mochai Seaview Guesthouse offers breathtaking ocean views and rooms that are clean and comfortable. The in-house photography service is a huge plus – the photographer was excellent at capturing the perfect vibe, making it a one-stop shop for staying, playing, and getting great photos. A truly perfect vacation experience! We came all the way to Qingdao's Laoshan for this cliffside cafe! It's both a coffee shop and a guesthouse, with the ocean right outside your room. The guesthouse also has plenty of picturesque spots for photos. Breakfast is served at the cafe, and if you go early, you can snag a table on the seaside balcony. I was incredibly impressed with the entire photo shoot experience! It exceeded all my expectations – I didn't have to worry about posing or feeling awkward at all. First, I have to praise my photographer; their skills were truly outstanding! They were patient with their guidance and had a great sense of humor, always keeping the atmosphere lively and making the whole shoot incredibly relaxed and enjoyable."

"Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The butler service was incredibly attentive and thorough – truly top-notch. On two separate occasions, we had urgent issues that staff members promptly resolved, even during their off-hours. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The guesthouse's private courtyard, paired with the sea view, created a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be staying at Mo Hai again the next time we visit Laoshan."

"This is my second stay here, and the owner is just as welcoming as ever. The location is incredibly convenient; I dropped off my luggage and immediately went out for a stroll. There are more tourists now, so it's quite lively. I really love how it's nestled by the mountains and water."

"Honestly, if prices are over 1000 during peak season, this place offers great value for money. It's a 7-8 minute walk to Yangkou Scenic Area, so you don't need to take the high-speed train anymore. It's also very close to the tea plantation for tea picking. After low tide, you can go beachcombing right outside; we caught a lot of small crabs. There are also many restaurants nearby, including various food stalls and seafood restaurants. Less than 100 meters away, there's a coffee shop called Sea, which has excellent coffee and is very photogenic."

"We were in Qingdao for an our wedding photoshoot/honeymoon and the hotel that the wedding company book was so low quality we just couldn’t stay there. We ended up booking this place last minute and they were able to accommodate our needs! The hotel’s a bit different from most that I know that it’s separate like apartments complexes. It feels a bit like an older building but everything else hotel employees can do their best in like customer service and amenities are of top notch. I would say the only thing out of their control would be remodeling the building."

"The service was excellent! Before checking in, the butler added me on WeChat and created a group chat in advance. Even though we arrived after 10 PM, a young butler came out to greet us. Parking was super convenient; we could just park right in the guesthouse's courtyard. It's newly renovated and even has a small pool in the yard. We literally fell asleep to the sound of ocean waves and woke up to a sea view, though unfortunately, it was a bit foggy today. The breakfast was quite rich too; we had shrimp first thing in the morning, very Qingdao style! The complimentary photo service was also a nice touch. They scheduled a time in advance, and the photographer arrived punctually and took some great shots."
