"The hotel was surprisingly good! After checking in, someone knocked on the door, which startled me, but it turned out they were delivering fruit! I'd left a note for the front desk staff requesting a room with a good view, and they gave us one directly facing the shopping malls in Xinjiekou – amazing! Breakfast was at Jinhaiwan downstairs, and the selection was incredibly rich with very attentive service. It was a really satisfying buffet breakfast. **Environment:** Very good. **Facilities:** Although the cabinets and doors were a bit older, everything was extremely clean and tidy!"

Views from the top two are some of the best in the city, while the views from the 82nd floor Greenland Club are more exclusive. The hotel's business center, staffed from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., offers a number of services including mobile phone rental and secretarial services. The InterContinental also offers foreign currency exchange for those travelers coming from outside of China.A fitness center is available for guests looking to stay in shape, while those who want to do so while cooling off can take a swim in the indoor or outdoor pool.

"The room layout was well-designed, the views were beautiful, and the service was attentive. The observation deck truly offers stunning scenery! My only minor complaints were that the hairdryer was quite weak, and the self-service dinner was just average. Our butler, Alice, was always available to help with any issues, which definitely deserves praise!"

The Bojin Huangpu Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Nanjing will find that the Bojin Huangpu Hotel is a fantastic accommodation choice. Being just minutes away from Xi'anmen Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. With multiple attractions nearby including Meiyuan New Village Memorial Hall of the Chinese Communist Party Delegation, Nanjing Ming Palace Ruins Park and Nanjing 1912 Pub Street, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. When it comes to Nanjing hotels, the Bojin Huangpu Hotel is highly regarded for its excellent facilities. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"During the May Day holiday, I brought my child to Nanjing and stayed at the Huangpu Hotel. The family room had a large window, a children's tatami mat, a tent, and even toiletries for the baby. The hotel's location is relatively quiet, and there's a well-established restaurant downstairs. The service was also very attentive. A big thank you to customer service agent Guo Guo and to the housekeeping staff who helped mail back the kettle we left in the room. We'll definitely be back next time!"

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

We spent our weekend in Nanjing for a musical show at Nanjing Poly Theatre and Tianshiju Executive Apartment is a perfect location for us as it's right next to the theatre. The apartments are actually occupying the top floors of the International Youth Convention Hotel where the guests can share the hotel facilities. We were staying in the 2-bedroom apartment with big rooms and living areas, which is well-furnished, well-maintained and the air inside the room is fresh with no bad smell. More important, the front desk staffs are all very friendly and helpful especially Miss Anna Hu who is super patient and efficient. Also, surprising us is the free afternoon tea from 3pm to 7pm daily in the dining area which is not big but quiet. Thus, it would be perfect for those who would like to sit down for a quiet drink and snacks with friends. We had an enjoyable stay in Tianshiju and would definitiely visit again in our next Nanjing trip!!

Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo

Traveling with elders, we opted for a Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo stay during the off-peak season. The drive from Hangzhou was easy, and the entire trip was incredibly comfortable. **Money-saving tips:** 1. Hotel guests get free admission to the Garden Expo. Plus, you can visit the Thirteen Gardens for free before 3 PM on weekdays. 2. The night light show requires a separate ticket. If you're looking for ambiance, it's worth it, but exploring during the day for free is perfect for a relaxing stroll. **Elder-friendly advantages:** The park's pathways are gentle, and there are plenty of rest areas within the hotel. You don't have to rush through attractions; you can always head back to your room for a rest, which is great for seniors with mobility issues. **Environmental highlights:** 1. **Indoor public areas:** Floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows offer direct views of the valley. The interior decor is warm and soft, with numerous seating areas for enjoying the view. 2. **Outdoor landscape:** A multi-level garden built into a cliffside quarry. Exposed concrete architecture blends seamlessly with the rocks, plants, and water features, which are home to black swans. It's a truly picturesque place for a walk. 3. **Design details:** The flowing spiral staircase and the bar with its natural rock wall exude architectural beauty, making it incredibly photogenic. The hotel's grounds are vast, and we only explored a small portion. We're already planning a return trip for a two-night stay to fully experience everything.

The environment is absolutely stunning: Nestled at the foot of Zhongshan Mountain, this European-style manor boasts a massive lawn and golf course. The air is fresh, the views are expansive, and it's perfect for photos, feeling just like staying in a forest oxygen bar. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed: Starting from 51 sqm, each comes with a balcony or terrace. You'll find King Koil mattresses, Dyson hairdryers, BOSE sound systems, and Acqua di Parma toiletries. The bathrooms feature a separate wet and dry area, plus a large bathtub. Extremely family-friendly: There's a castle-themed kids' playground on the basement level, weekend clown interactions, craft activities, bubble shows, and complimentary cotton candy. Kids receive a special bathrobe and rubber ducky, making it ideal for families with little ones. Excellent breakfast reputation: The Lantig buffet offers a wide variety of options, including local Nanjing snacks (like noodles and pan-fried buns), seafood, and desserts. On weekends, there's a dazzling flame cake show. Rich facilities: Enjoy a 27-hole golf course (complimentary driving range for guests), a heated swimming pool (including a warm pool for children), a Technogym fitness center, and multiple restaurants (Huaiyang cuisine/Western). Service highlights: The front desk often provides free room upgrades, the butler service is highly responsive, and the turndown service is thoughtful. A shuttle bus is available to the golf course.

My stay at Jumeirah this time was incredibly surprising and memorable. Even before I arrived, the hotel's service had already left a great first impression. The staff member who answered my call in the morning was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. They helped me resolve two practical issues regarding check-in and luggage arrangements, explaining everything clearly and efficiently, which made my subsequent arrival at the hotel much smoother. Later, during check-in, the front desk staff member who assisted me was also very enthusiastic, meticulous, and thoughtful. The entire check-in process was seamless and pleasant; they also went above and beyond to help me with room arrangements, and the final stay experience far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is also outstanding. The overall environment is beautiful and very well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, quiet, and comfortable, with great views and a very relaxing ambiance. The bathroom and amenities were particularly impressive; many small details showed the hotel's attentiveness. What impressed me most this time wasn't just the hotel's facilities, but the genuine service provided by the staff. From the phone communication in the morning to the front desk reception upon arrival, I felt incredibly welcome and well taken care of. Overall, this was a very pleasant and delightful stay, and one of the most impressive hotels I've stayed at recently. If I return to this city in the future, I would be very willing to choose this place again, and I highly recommend it.

The overall quality of the hotel exceeded my expectations. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the public areas were clean and impressive. Sherry, the front desk staff, was gentle and polite, making the check-in process quick and smooth. She communicated patiently and meticulously. The room was spotless, well-laid out, and the facilities were well-maintained. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and I slept soundly all night. The staff were always available, providing thoughtful and attentive service. You could feel the professional caliber of a five-star hotel everywhere. It's conveniently located, offers excellent value for money, and my entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. Highly recommended, I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing

9.4/10
Outstanding

Let's start with the fact that for a super five-star hotel, there's no independent parking. It shares a parking lot with Deji Plaza, and there are no dedicated parking spaces for the hotel guests. I went from parking level -5 up to the 38th floor to check in. There were a lot of guests at the time, and I was already quite annoyed. They asked me to wait, and it was only after I told the front desk that I was an executive lounge guest that she took me up to the 58th floor to check in. After checking in, let's talk about the room itself. The room had a dim design, completely different from other Ritz-Carlton styles. Honestly, I dislike Banyan Tree because its decor makes me feel very oppressed, and I was surprised that the Ritz-Carlton Nanjing gave me a similar uncomfortable feeling. And then there's the curtain – why leave a side window? Before 6 AM, the sunlight streamed in and disturbed my sleep. I was seriously fuming. The bathroom had an odd smell, and the cleanliness was just average. Even the lobby lacked that signature Ritz scent. It seems I need to temper my expectations for these foreign hotel brands in the future. However, I'm glad that after I raised my concerns on the first day, they genuinely improved things on the second. There were staff members waiting at every elevator exit to guide guests, which shows they can admit mistakes and rectify them promptly. So, I guess it balances out. Overall, the service was decent, and they maintained the expected courtesies. The afternoon tea was just okay, and the breakfast/lunch was nothing special.

This isn't my first time staying here. With nothing to do on a weekend, I booked a river-view room to just chill and sleep in. Sabrina Li, one of the hotel staff, already knows my check-out preferences and proactively extended my check-out time to 2 PM. Big kudos to her for that! I ordered some takeout (funny story: I ordered a lobster, and the restaurant forgot to include gloves but sent two portions instead 😂😊😊). Enjoying takeout, the river view, a few drinks, and just zoning out – that's another weekend well spent.

I came to Ziqing Lake for vacation for the third time. It was during the New Year's Day holiday and the room was fully booked. There were queues for meals and hot springs. Fortunately, the service was not discounted. Overall, the management was more standardized than the previous two times. In addition, there was an entrance to the zoo in the hotel, which was really convenient. The facilities in Building 7 were cost-effective, but the hair dryer was a bit old. Halfway through the hair drying, the automatic protection stopped, and half of the hair could only be air-dried
