"I was a bit put off when I first arrived at the garage; it definitely had a musty smell and was quite small, so I didn't understand why the hotel was rated so highly. However, my opinion completely changed after checking in. The hotel's service was incredibly pleasant, with everyone from the front desk to the butler being meticulous. The hotel facilities were clean and tidy. The only drawbacks were the lack of a refrigerator in the room, which can be a bit inconvenient in the summer, and the elevator not requiring a key card, which could improve security. The hotel is right opposite a subway station, making it easy to get to the Old Bund and Dongqian Lake by subway, taxi, or shared bike. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the food was good, and there was ice cream available all day, plus plain noodles as a late-night snack. There was construction going on nearby, and the front desk called me beforehand to let me know, which I appreciated. Although it didn't really affect my stay, it showed respect for the guests. They also offered complimentary fruit upon check-in and foot-soaking tubs in the evening. Overall, it was good value for money."

"I happened to be there during a typhoon. The hotel offered many conveniences, though my stay was short. It was cloudy and I experienced heavy rain and strong winds. Despite all that, I still fell in love with Ningbo, thanks to the hotel restaurant's amazing food. They are excellent cooks, and the solo meal was incredibly good value. The hotel was very clean, and being on a high floor wasn't uncomfortable. I did have to turn off the room's AC though, as it got a bit chilly. I still think the 'Three Rivers View' room is the best choice."

"All five-star reviews are solely for the amazing service provided by the Holiday Inn Express front desk staff. The gentleman was incredibly patient and helpful. He upgraded us to a family room at the neighboring Crowne Plaza, personally escorted us to check in, and even had fruits and drinks delivered to our room. We are truly grateful! Now, about the Crowne Plaza itself: we were in the South Tower, which has very outdated facilities. Upon check-in, we found the room to be quite dirty and messy. There wasn't a single good pillow, and the blankets even had bloodstains. We called the front desk and had them changed that night. I'm not sure if the bedding in the newly renovated North Tower is newer or cleaner. The hotel's only real advantage is its good location."

"From the moment I walked through the front doors, the front desk team were incredibly welcoming, polite, and efficient. Check-in was lightning fast, they answered all my local sightseeing and dining questions with genuine helpfulness, and even offered small thoughtful extras like free bottled water and local travel tips without me asking. My room was spotlessly clean, fresh, and far more spacious than I expected from the online photos. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft, high-quality linens, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. All amenities—hot powerful shower, clean towels, reliable Wi-Fi, charging ports, a mini-fridge, and a tidy vanity area—functioned flawlessly. The room stayed quiet all night despite being close to the main street, so I slept deeply every evening. Housekeeping visited daily and refreshed everything neatly each time."

"Decided to relax for a few days and chose this place. The private room in the hostel is perfect for solo travelers, and the soundproofing is good too. The front desk service was excellent. Even though the bathrooms are shared, I often saw staff cleaning them. Plus, the location is fantastic, right in the city center. I've also stayed at their branches in Shanghai and Hangzhou, and they were both great experiences."

"The room was very clean, and the facilities were new. The front desk staff were also very helpful and promptly resolved any issues. They replenished disposable toothbrushes and tissues daily, which is a nice touch as other hotels I've stayed at don't do that if you still have some. This hotel is great, kudos to the housekeeping auntie! They were also very considerate; when we said we didn't need the room cleaned, they left the replenished items at the door, and they remembered our cleaning preferences later on. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit."

The front desk staff were very welcoming and responsive. I booked a package through Ctrip that included breakfast, and it was plentiful. There are also quite a few trendy coffee shops nearby to check out, and Yinzhou Park is close by too. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Although I was initially a bit disappointed that there was no ping pong or billiards, the staff handled it very promptly, and they even gave me a small gift when I left. Issues happen, but they were dealt with quickly and with genuine sincerity, which more than made up for it. Truly a five-star hotel experience."

Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, and you could feel her dedication in every detail. Before my arrival, she proactively upgraded my room and patiently assisted me in registering for the IHG Rewards Club, explaining the member benefits. She also helped me pre-register my car's license plate information, saving me the hassle of doing it upon arrival. Additionally, she prioritized our check-in, significantly improving the efficiency of the process. During my stay, there was a minor issue with the room. After I reported it to Nancy, she responded very quickly and immediately arranged for us to move to a brand-new room. Her efficiency in handling problems was excellent, and it didn't disrupt our rest. The hotel is located in the city center, offering an excellent location with comprehensive dining and shopping options nearby, making transportation very convenient. From the initial communication and check-in to handling unexpected issues, every step made me feel at ease. The service is commendable, earning a five-star rating. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone."
