I came to Putuoshan for incense burning, and stayed in Ningbo, thinking it would be convenient to stay near Tianyi Square for dining and shopping. As I was unfamiliar with the area, I booked a hotel for the first night, but found it a bit frustrating upon arrival, so I checked out and moved to the New Century Grand Hotel instead. I was traveling with my wife and child, and wanted a family room – a king bed and a single bed felt more comfortable.
After returning from Putuoshan the next day, my family still wanted to stay near Tianyi Square for convenience. I browsed various hotels online, but family rooms were scarce. After filtering, I looked at several nearby Atour hotels, and finally went through all the reviews and pictures for Manxin Mansion. Upon arrival, every single staff member at the hotel, yes, every single one, was incredibly warm and welcoming. We were quite tired after driving back from Putuoshan that evening, and their service provided such great emotional support, helping us shed our fatigue. It was truly heartwarming.
The hotel is clean, the facilities are brand new, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. Tianyi Square is just across the street, and the subway station is less than 30 meters to the left of the hotel entrance, offering excellent transportation links. While it may not have the grandeur of a five-star hotel, I am still extremely satisfied. Choosing a hotel can be exhausting, wanting good quality, good service, and convenient transportation. Next time I'm in Ningbo, this will definitely be my top choice.

MM519593****For my trip to Ningbo, I chose the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites, and the service exceeded my expectations. Even before arrival, I had a dedicated one-on-one butler, Miya, who asked about my room preferences and arranged the room in advance according to my requests. This saved me time, as I was able to check in immediately upon arrival.
Miya also offered excellent recommendations for popular tourist spots in Ningbo once she learned I was here for leisure – that was fantastic!
Upon reaching the front desk, the staff were very efficient; check-in was completed in about five minutes, which was great and didn't waste any time. The room offered great views, and if needed, kitchenware could be provided for cooking. It was all very well arranged, and I loved it.
What truly deserves special praise are the swimming pool and gym. The facilities are very well-maintained, and they use excellent brands for the fitness equipment.
The hotel's breakfast buffet was extensive, including both Chinese and Western options, as well as local Ningbo specialties. The taste was superb, and the restaurant environment was wonderful. I especially enjoyed sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window for the expansive view. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Ningbo!

GGuest UserLocated in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location.
The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable.
The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate.
It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

The room was more spacious than I imagined, with a great view from the floor-to-ceiling window, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The attention to detail was impressive: the mini-bar drinks were complimentary, and the toiletries were from a well-known brand with a subtle fragrance. The location is excellent, convenient for both attractions and shopping districts. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the local specialties were very authentic. At check-out, they even thoughtfully presented a small souvenir. Overall, it's great value for money, with warm service. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

It’s a very nice hotel, the businessrooms are nice and large and comfortable.
Had a lot of trouble getting internet connection, service staff using google translate to send voice message over the phone, surely some simple instructions for foreign guests would do the job. I had to call the service desk 3 times. In the end one of the staff came to my room and sorted it out, she was nice and helpful. The breakfast was vast and good. Nice dining area environment.

Especially, Mr. John Guo was very helpful with my luggages and parcel and everything. Breakfast has a lot of varieties. Especially, they provide fresh squeezed juices (watermelon juices, and orange juices)and cucumber juices. Hotel has also got a big swimming pool with 1.2 and 1.5 meters 2 depths. Would highly recommend.

This time, I want to particularly thank May, the Front Office Duty Manager, whose efficiency and responsibility helped me avoid a huge hassle.
That afternoon, I enjoyed a leisurely time at the hotel's 'Tea House,' which boasts a charming江南 (Jiangnan) aesthetic. The antique ambiance and exquisite tea snacks were all enchanting. However, upon leaving, I carelessly left a small personal bag on my seat. To make matters worse, I didn't realize the bag was missing until I arrived at Ningbo Railway Station, ready to board my train. The bag contained not only cash but, more importantly, multiple vital documents like my ID card, bank cards, and credit cards. Instantly, anxiety and panic overwhelmed me. I desperately tried to recall where I might have lost it, but it felt like searching for a needle in a haystack; just thinking about the tedious process of replacing all those documents was despairing.
Just as I was at my wit's end and almost giving up hope, my phone rang. A warm and clear voice said, ”Hello, this is the Park Hyatt Ningbo, I'm the Duty Manager May. Have you perhaps misplaced a dark-colored small bag?” At that moment, I couldn't believe my ears; it was like music to them. It turned out that May had received a call from a Tea House colleague reporting a guest's forgotten bag. Instead of simply placing the item in lost and found to wait, she immediately used the limited document information inside the bag to proactively search through various channels and successfully contacted me.
On the phone, May's voice was calm and professional. She clearly verified the items in the bag and thoughtfully inquired about my upcoming travel plans. Upon learning I was already out of town, she immediately proposed the most secure solution: ”Please don't worry, we will send the bag to you using the safest express delivery method. Please make sure to provide us with your accurate address.” Every word she spoke was like a reassurance, completely dispelling my anxiety. The entire communication process was efficient, smooth, and full of understanding and respect for me.
This near-miss experience has given me immense respect for the management standards and staff quality at Park Hyatt Ningbo. May's actions went far beyond merely 'returning lost property.' She demonstrated the ultimate service spirit of 'proactively taking responsibility until the problem is solved.' She didn't wait for the owner to show up but took the initiative; she didn't stick rigidly to procedures but relieved the guest's worries in the fastest, most humanized way possible. Behind this, there must be an excellent hotel training system and a customer-centric culture.
The scenery of Park Hyatt Ningbo is certainly unforgettable; the misty waters of Dongqian Lake and the elegant design are both exceptional. But May's 'help in a time of need' added a profound human touch to my journey. This was not just about retrieving lost items; it was about rebuilding trust and peace of mind. Thank you, May; your sense of responsibility and kindness are the hotel's most brilliant calling card. I will definitely recommend Park Hyatt Ningbo to all my friends because here, one can truly entrust a perfect journey.

Prime Location: CITIC Ningbo enjoys an enviable location, offering easy access to the heart of the city. From my room, I had a delightful view of the surroundings, which added to the overall experience.
Breakfast Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive, with an array of options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a hearty meal or something light, the hotel caters to all preferences.
