I came to Putuoshan for incense burning, and stayed in Ningbo, thinking it would be convenient to stay near Tianyi Square for dining and shopping. As I was unfamiliar with the area, I booked a hotel for the first night, but found it a bit frustrating upon arrival, so I checked out and moved to the New Century Grand Hotel instead. I was traveling with my wife and child, and wanted a family room – a king bed and a single bed felt more comfortable.
After returning from Putuoshan the next day, my family still wanted to stay near Tianyi Square for convenience. I browsed various hotels online, but family rooms were scarce. After filtering, I looked at several nearby Atour hotels, and finally went through all the reviews and pictures for Manxin Mansion. Upon arrival, every single staff member at the hotel, yes, every single one, was incredibly warm and welcoming. We were quite tired after driving back from Putuoshan that evening, and their service provided such great emotional support, helping us shed our fatigue. It was truly heartwarming.
The hotel is clean, the facilities are brand new, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. Tianyi Square is just across the street, and the subway station is less than 30 meters to the left of the hotel entrance, offering excellent transportation links. While it may not have the grandeur of a five-star hotel, I am still extremely satisfied. Choosing a hotel can be exhausting, wanting good quality, good service, and convenient transportation. Next time I'm in Ningbo, this will definitely be my top choice.

The room was more spacious than I imagined, with a great view from the floor-to-ceiling window, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The attention to detail was impressive: the mini-bar drinks were complimentary, and the toiletries were from a well-known brand with a subtle fragrance. The location is excellent, convenient for both attractions and shopping districts. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the local specialties were very authentic. At check-out, they even thoughtfully presented a small souvenir. Overall, it's great value for money, with warm service. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

__WeChat238732****I chose this hotel because I needed to charge my car. The hotel is very large, with plenty of parking spaces, and there are restaurants and fruit shops nearby. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even gave me some thoughtful small gifts! Breakfast was also excellent. I needed a late checkout, and the hotel front desk readily agreed, which was really great. Even the food deliveries were brought up by a robot. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Ningbo!

IIntl DorineWe chose this hotel for the location it is close to a shopping mall and also close to a family member that lives in Ningbo.
I booked 5 nights at the hotel with breakfast I only managed to go down for breakfast twice on one occasion when I went down for breakfast it should've still been open for customers but the staff were already packing away the food in boxes even though they was still 30 minutes of breakfast time left...
The room was clean, the amenities were decent, the staff were friendly and were helpful where they could be.
As this is not an international hotel, there was a slight language barrier but they tried very hard to address our needs where they could.
A major criticism of this hotel was that the lift was very hard to call. There's a very busy gym in the building, so sometimes we'd have to wait up to 10 minutes for the lift to arrive...
However overall we had a pleasant stay the price was extremely reasonable and we enjoyed evening pool sessions!
We would stay again. 😊

The background of the hotel front desk is the Three Character Classic, which is quite unique. Ningbo University is right outside the door, which is very convenient. The price/performance ratio is good

MMarinaThe nature around the hotel is amazing, but the facilities are quite old. It’s good place to have rest from the city noise. Very comfortable house, with nice balcony and huge bathtub. Breakfast was also tasty. There is nothing around the hotel within a walking distance, so we felt bored as we like active leisure. Also there is no lighting so you cannot really walk around in the evening. it is better to stay in the room after 7pm as the pathway to the house has no lights as well. I wouldn’t suggest this place for families with kids below 4 years old because of steep stairs and lack of baby equipment like cribs. But it’s a great place for couples to spend one day together in the nature. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserQixia Mountain Residence, quiet and comfortable, there will be some plum dishes and silks from the aunt in the village outside the door to buy some to try, the little housekeeper Xiaohao is also diligent, it rains at the entrance of the village to receive umbrellas, play cards with friends, the restaurant can order drinks, you can also play game consoles with K songs, you can choose, breakfast is not bad, By the way, the thousand yuan boss stereo equipped in each room of the homestay is really good, five-star recommendation, you can come again!
