3-Star Hotels in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

This hotel is clearly showing its age and may not meet expectations for those looking for a more modern or well-maintained stay. While it carries the IHG branding, the overall experience feels dated. One of the main challenges was communication. The front desk staff had very limited English proficiency, making it difficult to get clear directions—especially regarding parking. Guests are required to go to the front desk to ask about parking arrangements, which is not very convenient. The signage outside is also misleading, and it’s easy to mistakenly park at a nearby open-air lot that charges ¥100 per 15 minutes or ¥1000 for 12 hours. The hotel’s designated parking is actually located in a shopping mall, which is not immediately obvious. The rooms themselves are quite old, with worn facilities. The bathroom had a noticeable musty smell, suggesting poor ventilation or maintenance. Amenities were basic—Dove toiletries were provided instead of the more commonly seen Pola brand in Japanese hotels. The air conditioning was also ineffective, which made the stay less comfortable. That said, the hotel does have one strong advantage: location. It is directly opposite Ōmichō Market, making it very convenient for exploring the market and enjoying a great local breakfast. Overall, this hotel may be suitable for travelers who prioritize location over comfort, but those expecting a smoother and more modern stay might want to consider other options.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel, it's my second time staying here. The bathroom is incredibly spacious, featuring a Lixil unit bath that's perfectly flush with the room, making it very comfortable. It feels like a 1616 size, much larger than typical hotel bathrooms. The rooftop terrace near the check-in area is also exceptional, offering fantastic views of the railway leading into Kanazawa Station. The only downsides are limited parking and it's slightly pricier compared to surrounding options.

Hokuriku cherry-watching trip, staying alone at Lijin Hot Spring Xiduoba Hotel, the whole process is surrounded by careful and intimate service, every detail makes people feel warm, leaving beautiful and unforgettable memories. The hotel's service is meticulous and considerate, and the staff and driver are kind and kind throughout the whole process. Whether it is check-in reception and demand assistance, they are patient and thoughtful. They are considerate of the guests everywhere, making people feel at home instantly. In particular, free shuttle service is also provided, so that you don't have to worry about traffic problems, which saves a lot of trouble for the journey, and the caring degree is full. The room is clean and comfortable, the environment is quiet and elegant, you can hear birds singing, the air is fresh, I can sleep well without even turning on the air conditioner. The desserts in the hall taste sweet, so pleasant surprise 🍓, there is a small gift shop to buy. The hot springs in the museum are warm and comfortable, and the complete personal soaking is a lot easier. Especially the waterfall hot springs, the water flow is just right, can massage the shoulder and neck parts, relieve the stiffness and fatigue of weekdays. I sincerely thank all the service staff of Xiduoba Hotel for creating such a comfortable and comfortable accommodation environment with heart. From service to facilities, from meals to experience, everything is impeccable. This trip has become more perfect because this hotel has become more perfect, and I will definitely help you again next time I visit, and I really recommend it to every friend!

Stayed here while traveling along the Sea of Japan coastline. Overall, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, they upgraded my room, and the location wasn't far from the station, which was convenient for catching an early train the next morning. On the other hand, the staff didn't explain any of the hotel facilities, and the Wi-Fi was intermittent, which was very inconvenient for someone who might need to use a computer at any moment. If you're just traveling and need a place to sleep, this spot is fine, especially since the price is good. But for business travelers, the ANA hotel next door would be a better choice. Personally, I probably won't be returning.

Our stay in Morino Sumika was wonderful. This hotel is probably one the best Hotel (Ryokan) We’ve ever stayed in Japan. We are so impressed with their service. The staffs are polite and responsive even though language barrier. We stayed in a room with open air bath type with balcony looking at the slope garden and hotel itself. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. Room are spacious and bigger than we had expected. The room layout is great. We are so amazed with the hotel facility and everything in the hotel that we want to spend much more time at the hotel rather than going out. The hotel is about 5 km away from Kagaonsen Station in the area called Yamashiro Onsen. They offer shuttle service which we contact them via email. Yamashiro Onsen is very nice and calm. FYI… Kagaonsen Station is 20 minutes travel from Kanazawa by Hokuriku Shinkansen… very convenience..

The room size was pretty standard, as you'd expect unless it's a high-end hotel. The older woman at the front desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The hotel's location is excellent, right in front of the train station. Plus, there's a Montbell store conveniently nearby.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the location—it is extremely close to Kanazawa Station, making travel super easy. The room was very clean and felt surprisingly spacious. It had a nice layout with a small table and lamp, plus a tiny corner sofa area to relax in. The bath was totally fine and had everything we needed. A great, comfortable, and convenient stay!

It's one of the best capsule hotels I've ever stayed. To be honest, I prefer staying at the capsule hotel in Japan than the hostels in Europe. It's very convenient & very well-organized. After 4 pm, the reception will give me a new set of dry towels & pajama. On top of that, a voucher was given for having breakfast at Starbuck. This capsule hotel is super-clean. They clean the facility daily from 11 am to 4 pm. The capsule itself was very comfortable for me to sleep for 3 nights. It's one of the best experience for a solo-traveler who come & visit Japan. If I visit Kanazawa alone again, I will definitely come & stay at this hostel.

The location is good, it's close to the train station. Staff were super friendly. There's a restaurant within the hotel which we had dinner there, food was good, though the price was a little higher than a normal local restaurant, but for the convenient sake, it was worth it. The bedroom was normal and bathroom is on the small side, since it's located in a small city/town, so don't expect it to be like those hotel in big city but overall it's clean and comfortable, and we were happy with it. There is also a self service free coffee at the lobby, which was good to have some hot drinks especially in the cold weather. Breakfast was very delicious, and you could tell they really made an effort. I would say it's the part I liked the most about my stay.

It was fantastic, with great care and service from the staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel was clean with a very calm and orderly atmosphere and it really made my trip to Kanazawa the best!
