I chose this hotel because it's conveniently located with a bus going to Fox Village from Shiroishi-Zao Station. The hotel itself is great, with two self-service washing machines and two restaurants. The breakfast was delicious! 😋

I've stayed here about 5 or 6 times now, and every visit, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is excellent. The staff's polite language and their commitment to ensuring guests never feel uncomfortable truly put me at ease.
This time, for the first time, I opted for a room-only stay as I wanted to enjoy a relaxing hot spring trip without any interference. (Previously, my best friend and I always chose plans with breakfast and dinner.)
This kind of stay is also very reasonable, and given the reliable service, I'll continue to choose Rantei for all my future visits to Akiu Onsen, rather than trying other inns.
Having just turned 60, I'm not sure how many more times I'll be able to visit...
Thank you so much for everything.
It's close to the highway and next to the hotel is Aeon Town, so it's convenient for shopping. The price is reasonable, so it's a good deal. Breakfast was included, and it was quite delicious. I wish the toilet in the room had a washlet.

Reception is helpful even though we arrived at 11am, she helped to store our luggages snd gave full explanation.
Close to Sendai station but aware of losing direction so be sure to ask local for direction first when heading to hotel.
Breakfast is excellent and those ladies worked in the canteen were professional.
Quiet and sleep well.
Lots of amenities were placed near the elevator at G/F.
Lucky that day were sunny so using the Loople bus to get around but the next day (4/Apr/2026
Unfortunately it rained and getting cold at Matsshima
In my daze, I only booked for one person. Luckily, the bunk bed could sleep two, and I checked in smoothly after paying the difference. The room wasn't big, but thankfully I had a small suitcase with a change of clothes for the night. I slept in too late the next day and didn't have time for breakfast, so I can only blame myself.
Super friendly and serviced team, the accommodation is greater than the usual rooms in Japan and the very convenient location.
We recommend it without hesitation !
The shabu-shabu dinner was satisfying, with a good selection and a generous portion. They also made a separate bowl of porridge for my elderly father, which was very helpful. Everything at the breakfast buffet was delicious.
The room was also very clean and comfortable, with a reclining chair so we could relax. The only downside was that the window was dirty, which made it difficult to see the view.
It was great that there were so many services that could be enjoyed by everyone, from small children to the elderly.

i used it on a live expedition.
It was really convenient because it was about 10 minutes by car from the venue!
It was a night stay without breakfast, but I was very satisfied
The dryer was also very windy and very helpful.
I asked a lot of questions such as the parking lot of the hotel and whether it is okay to turn right, but they responded politely in an easy-to-understand manner. I would like to use it again!
The Livemax Hotel is located near JR Tagajo Station in Sendai, about a 15-minute walk from the station. The room is spacious enough to accommodate two suitcases, and there's also an open-air bath, which guests can use free of charge.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Sendai is extremely friendly to international travelers. One of the staff members can speak Chinese, which was incredibly helpful for us. She assisted us with many things during our stay and helped arrange luggage storage before check-in, making everything very smooth and convenient.
The room is also slightly larger compared to many hotels in Japan, which made the stay more comfortable. The location is excellent as well — it is very close to Sendai Station, and there are supermarkets and many shops nearby, making it very convenient.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and there is really nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Sendai.

AAnonymous UserWe were to people during 3 nights.
The pictures are from after our stay, that’s why it’s a bit messy. It was very tidy and nice before we moved in for our stay.
It was quite close to the station and a lot of restaurants close by, and extremely close to the morning market as well, which was nice.
The room was very nice and clean. A little bit spacious as well. If you have a suitcase I think you maybe manage to open it somehow. We didn’t use any cleaning service. They also had a sign you could use if you didn’t want new towels (which I thought was good from the environmental perspective).
The people were nice and polite. The amenity was good as well. They had de basic stuff, which was good.
Overall we think we had a very nice stay at this hotel.
YyukeyThe room was not bad, the service was very good, the standard Japanese-style economy hotel, Japanese-style service, would not disappoint. Surrounded by residential areas, it is quiet. Although it is a little far from Sendai Railway Station, I have walked past it. It is fine to go.
JJaniceTotoroI have comfy stay of 2 nights with Sotetsu Fresta Inn Sendai~ the location is very nice, walking for 1 minute you can reach Sendai Asaichi 仙台朝市, where they said it was the Sendai’s people kitchen. I have tried snacks like koroke (Saito Croquettes 齋藤惣菜店「ころっけや」 this is so good), beside the koreke shops there’s an uncle selling zunda mochi (edamame), and there’s a onigiri shop selling cheap and tasty onigiri just downstairs of the hotel. Very convenient to get to sendai station and there are a lot of combini/ restaurant/shopping places around. Room is clean and they provided laundry service too (but their dryer doesn’t seem working efficiently, I dried 6kg clothes for twice but still didn’t dry), yes they provided toiletries (including face mask and yuzu bath salt!), also there’s a free locker storage in lobby so you can storage you luggages and started to explore the beauty of sendai.
GGuest UserSendai has become my second favorite city in Japan. It offers the perfect blend of chill and urban vibes — not as crowded as Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo, yet equally lively and enjoyable.
This capsule hotel is located right along the main business street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There’s even an Ichiran Ramen just next door, and a famous Taiyaki shop only a 2–3 minute walk away. Sendai Station is about a 10-minute walk from the property.
However, one downside is the confusing luggage policy. The hotel rules state that large luggage cannot be brought into the sleeping area, so I rented a chain lock (JPY 100) to secure my suitcase in the hallway. Despite this, many guests still brought their bags inside, so the rule seemed inconsistently enforced. For guests like me who followed the policy, it was a bit inconvenient since my capsule was quite far from the hallway and it was troublesome to retrieve my belongings each time.
LlspfThis hotel is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Sendai Station, located right in a shopping arcade with tons of restaurants and shops, including a Don Quijote just 2 minutes away. The bus stop for Yamagata is also a mere 2-minute walk. The lobby offers 24-hour free coffee, and there are lockers for guests to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. The service is excellent. My only minor suggestion would be to have signs indicating the elevator's location on the ground floor, as I had to carry my luggage up to the second floor for check-in on the first day, which was a bit inconvenient. If I come to Sendai again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. The room amenities are well-arranged and very practical.
GGuest UserLocation was far from Train station - hence need a free shuttle bus from Sendai station to go in. Kind of challenging to book and confirm the shuttle arrangement but got it done after few clarifications. Hotel itself is near Akiu Sato centre which is good
Hotel is big but quite old looking, room spacious , good onsen.
very good dinner buffet with snow crabs daily. Buffet breakfast limited spread but OK
Problem is other main attractions are far and need to take bus/taxi.
The Akiu traditional craft village/park was a big disappointment with no visitors and only few shops opened. Not worth going at all
TTina GoodenoughThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the shopping street, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the JR station. The breakfast is quite varied, with one or two dishes updated daily, plus fresh oranges available, which is really nice.
GGuest UserThis Dormy Inn is by far the best one we've stayed at in Japan! The room felt slightly larger than the standard Dormy Inn basic room types, and the highlight was definitely the multiple outdoor onsen baths available (usually there's just one). It was fantastic to try out all the different ones in rotation. The service was also excellent. The only downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way, situated between Sendai city center and Matsushima Coast (a 25-minute walk from JR Nakano-sakae Station, or a 5-minute taxi ride costing around 1000 JPY). Other than that, there are no flaws, and the Ctrip group purchase price was an absolute steal. Plus, the Kirin Beer Factory is right next door, so if you have time, you can book a tour.
