GGuest UserCheck-in was a great experience. The older gentleman in the dark suit was very attentive and answered all my questions. He also recommended the hotel's afternoon tea buffet when he heard we were planning to have afternoon tea. However, the man with long hair in the black suit at the afternoon tea reception was a true Beijinger from the hutongs, and his service was quite awful. The cleaning staff was also proactive and enthusiastic. But perhaps due to hotel policy, toiletries (like toothbrushes and combs) need to be requested. I was already tired and ready to rest, then had to confusingly ask the staff for them. Welcome fruit: 5 oranges. Enjoy complimentary mini-bar soft drinks and snacks (not including the day of departure): The snack was a pack of daily nuts, and there was plenty of water, juice, soda, and sparkling water. The concierge never helped with luggage. He just stood blankly behind the counter and didn't say anything. This made the bellhop at the entrance seem very quick-witted by comparison. The daytime afternoon tea, the juice bar, and the small bar on the 3rd floor were all very good. The ambiance was elegant, the prices reasonable, and it was very relaxing – a nice experience. Perhaps the hotel's 'bug' is the overweight man in the black suit. Spending money there really makes you feel like the hotel is on the verge of bankruptcy. Facilities: Very good. It's connected to many shops within the hotel, and the staff there are also very friendly and polite. The product quality is also good. Mainly, the location and the view are excellent.

GGuest UserFirst off, I have to commend the hotel's service. I booked several consecutive nights across different platforms, which would have meant switching rooms midway through my stay. However, the hotel staff communicated with each other and upgraded my room type, making my extended stay quite comfortable. They also provided a generous amount of snacks and drinks, which was a very thoughtful touch. I stayed in a deluxe room, which had a large floor-to-ceiling window, making it very bright and clean.

GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic! It's close to the subway, but even closer to the bus stop. I stayed for one night and it was so comfortable; I practically melted into the bed, haha! The cleanliness was excellent, and the room was really multifunctional – you could even connect via Bluetooth and play music. The air conditioning was adjustable, not just for show, which was a pleasant surprise. Great value for money; I'll definitely choose this place again when I bring my family to Beijing next time!

MMengmengmamaHotel Jen Beijing has been my top choice since 2019; whenever I visit Beijing, I only stay here. The rooms are clean and bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views—one side showcasing the dazzling lights of Jianguo Road Bridge, and the other, the CCTV Tower, creating an amazing ambiance at night. The sofa bed is perfect for guests with children, and the staff are warm, energetic, and provide thoughtful, attentive service. The location is superb, with direct access to China World Mall, making dining, shopping, and entertainment incredibly convenient. It's also super easy to get to the China World Summit Wing Observation Deck for night views. I always feel safe and comfortable here, and I'll continue choosing this hotel in the future.

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.

SSangzibbIt's always a pleasure to return here; every stay feels as warm as coming home. This time, I'd especially like to thank two exceptional staff members, Howard and Daisy, whose service made the entire stay truly memorable. Howard consistently appeared with the utmost professionalism whenever help was needed. Whether it was his efficient assistance during check-in or patiently answering my questions about the hotel facilities, his calm and meticulous approach made me feel completely at ease. I remember the morning after, he proactively checked if the air conditioning issue I'd mentioned the night before had been resolved – that level of follow-up responsibility is truly rare and commendable. The quality of a hotel isn't just about its facilities and environment, but more importantly, about the people within it. It's precisely because of outstanding team members like Howard and Daisy that this place has become somewhere I'm eager to return to again and again. I sincerely wish them continued success in their careers and look forward to seeing them next time!

GGuest UserQuietly nestled within the Second Ring Road! It's right next to Metro Lines 7 and 14, offering convenient access to attractions like Guomao and the Forbidden City. Plus, there are plenty of time-honored restaurants nearby. The hotel lobby features beautifully carved screens that exude an antique charm. The rooms are spacious and clean, and housekeeping is meticulous, showing great attention to detail. This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travelers, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Beijing!

HHuanongyingerYou can see Donghuamen right from the hotel entrance, and it couldn't be more convenient for visiting the Forbidden City. It's just across the street from Wangfujing Century, which is a hub for Beijing's historical costume makeup and photo shoots. Most online booked travel photoshoots start with makeup here, haha. I walked to the National Museum and the Forbidden City, and diagonally opposite there's a Siji Minfu, which is worth checking out for food. Overall, the location is absolutely fantastic. As for the decor and facilities, I don't think they're as bad as some reviews make them out to be; for an old building, they're perfectly acceptable. I'll bring my mom back to Beijing in the autumn of 2026 and stay here again! Just be aware that there's no central heating/warm air conditioning, so if that's a big concern for you, keep an eye on Beijing's heating schedule. I stayed from November 1st to 6th, and the staff provided a space heater, so I wasn't cold at all. There were plenty of shared bikes parked outside the hotel, which was super convenient. The streets to the left and right were lined with yellow leaves, and cycling around in the crisp autumn air was so comfortable. I probably got 20 years' worth of cycling done in those six days, hahahaha! Cycling in Beijing is really enjoyable, I love it, and I'll definitely come back to cycle again!

Ffj2821fjMy friend was visiting China and I booked this hotel for them in Beijing. The location is excellent, very convenient for transport, and the service was attentive. Wangfujing Pedestrian Street is just a few steps away, and it's also very close to attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are all sorts of restaurants in the area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Grand Millennium Beijing for two weeks, and overall, it was decent. The only standout positive was the two housekeeping ladies; they were absolutely amazing. For the last eleven days of my stay, 'Zhao Juanjuan' was my attendant, and she was incredibly thorough and attentive. She folded my clothes neatly every time. She remembered all my habits and room preferences, diligently helping me each day with my requests. She even helped air out cigarette smells, opened and closed windows according to my schedule, dealt with strange odors from the bathroom drain, and scrubbed the bathtub daily. Basically, she was always responsive to my needs, incredibly kind, and always enthusiastic to help. If I ever return to the Grand Millennium Beijing, I'd specifically want to stay on the floor she services. However, the hotel's policy on food delivery was frustrating. They wouldn't allow any deliveries to be left at the concierge, not even non-food items. It was really annoying. They only permit deliveries to be left in outdoor lockers, which means in winter, all your food gets cold. What's more, they have staff dedicated solely to pressing elevator buttons, so why can't they assign someone to bring deliveries up? There are no robots either, which was a real pain. I put up with it because I could see the 'Big Trousers' (CCTV Headquarters) from the lobby downstairs. Also, there was a persistent cigarette smell throughout the room, even in the bathroom. Another issue is that the hotel's decor is quite dated. There was a sewage-like smell from the sink, which made me want to gag while brushing my teeth in the morning. Everything else was fine. If you're looking for a newer hotel at a similar price, you could try the NUO Hotel Beijing or the Jing Guang Centre Hotel. But if you want to stay near the 'Big Trousers,' then the Millennium or Rosewood are your best bets.
