This hotel was the best one we stayed at during our 6-day trip to Zhangjiajie. It's only a 10-minute walk from the center of Fenghuang Ancient City, which is perfect for enjoying the night views without the noise when you want to rest. It's incredibly quiet. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel has a car service that can pick you up and drop you off anytime. You get a beautiful view as soon as you open the balcony door. The room decor is full of ancient charm, the environment is clean, and the details are thoughtful, including disposable toilet seat covers. The staff's service attitude is superb, and the breakfast selection is comprehensive. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fenghuang Ancient City.

The Grand Hyatt Changsha truly lives up to its reputation as a city landmark – the experience was simply impeccable! ✨ The location is superb, with the subway close by, making getting around incredibly convenient. My high-floor river view room offered unbeatable panoramic views; the floor-to-ceiling windows looked directly onto the Xiang River, Orange Isle, and Yuelu Mountain. It was stunning both day and night, especially the mesmerizing evening light show – perfect for photos! The front desk staff were warm, professional, and quick to respond. Breakfast was bountiful, with authentic freshly-made rice noodles. The Chinese restaurant served genuine Hunan cuisine, and the Executive Lounge offered an exclusive and distinguished experience. It perfectly blends luxurious quality with the vibrant charm of 'Star City' (Changsha). Whether for business or leisure, it's a top choice and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

A hotel which is about 2 years old, everything is new. We were quite impressed with the smart controls in the room. We can command it to close the curtains, turn off n on the lights, ask about the temperature for the day etc. We opted for rooms with the mountain view and we could see it from the room window every-day subject to weather conditions. Waiting for the rooms when we arrived, the reception was very nice to explain to us in detail which route to take to tianmen mountain, zhangjiajie grand canyon, National Forest Park (Avater mountains). We decided to make our base at this hotel while taking the didi (1+ hr to n 1+hr back) to the grand canyon n national forest park. It is a hassle to travel around those areas with luggages. The cableway to tianmen mountain is 10 mins walk, very convenient. Be prepared to walk a lot. Lucky there is a foot n body massage on the 4th floor of the hotel. It was a saver to our legs after a long day at tianmen mountain. There were eateries around but we were not used to the spicy n oily food, the San xia guo is a hot item sold around there, we stayed away from restaurants selling San xia guo after one meal with it, we did not like it. We try to find restaurants with food that was gentler on our gut like haidilao n Korean BBQ buffet. There is a breakfast restaurant 5 mins walk from the hotel which is a heaven as the food is more to our liking, they even had fresh soy bean, dumplings, non spicy noodle soup. The hotel breakfast was not bad, good n light. Please get the meicha which is a herbal tea from zhangjiajie, good for relaxing before sleep and it is said to be good for the 3 highs. Available in the shopping areas, the store at the lobby of the hotel sells it too. Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, good amenities, good location, good views. Just a feedback on one morning where we out for breakfast and left our belongings unlocked, we put the not to disturb door sign on the door but the housekeeper came in to clean the room. Please inform the housekeeper not to enter the room when there is no instructions to clean the room on the door sign.

The hotel room was exceptionally spacious with a classic decor, and the bedding was of very high quality and incredibly comfortable. The butler service exceeded my expectations and truly impressed me. Before check-in, the butler, Grace, proactively contacted me to inquire about my needs. Throughout my stay, whatever I required, the butler responded promptly and resolved my issues, making me feel exceptionally cared for. The hotel offers a wide variety of dining options, with a diverse breakfast selection and a pleasant restaurant ambiance. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The hotel has been open for some years, so the facilities aren't super new, but the room was quite spacious and had pretty much everything you'd need. There's no minibar in the room. The swimming pool is open from 3 PM to just past 9 PM. The hotel is surrounded by schools, so there are plenty of small eateries and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement... Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient. Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich.

An absolutely delightful stay at InterContinental! Location: The hotel is perfectly situated at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, right next to Beichenhui Joy City. There's a direct walkway from the hotel lobby into the mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. It's also a comfortable 5-7 minute walk to Beichen Delta Metro Station, passing other malls like Fenghuanghai along the way. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local eateries on the ground floor shops. Room: As a member celebrating a birthday, I was upgraded to a balcony room directly overlooking the Xiang River. The view was expansive and unobstructed. The 270° balcony essentially offered panoramic views. Unfortunately, it rained heavily in Changsha over the weekend, so visibility was poor due to heavy mist during the day, though it improved slightly in the afternoon and evening. From the lounge, you can enjoy views of the Changsha Library area, or step out onto the outdoor balcony for a different perspective. Ambiance: The facilities are still very new. The lobby bar is spacious, and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had far more seating than I anticipated. The overall decor is very stylish. It's also very comfortable to just sit and relax in the first-floor lobby. Food: I experienced the lounge's happy hour, breakfast, and the main lobby breakfast. They offered local specialties like liangfen (cold noodles) and rice noodles. There was a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. The Western selection had a good number of delicious baked goods. The bar was quite busy in the mornings with many people getting coffee and tea. Service: The service was incredibly warm, meticulous, and professional. During check-in, the front desk staff introduced us to all the hotel's functional areas and features. A special thank you to Cathy for her outstanding contribution to our stay. Since we were celebrating my partner's birthday, Cathy thoughtfully arranged decorations and a welcome dessert for us. Throughout our stay, she responded to our inquiries quickly and professionally and actively addressed my previous requests. My partner described the entire stay as comfortable, surprising, and heartwarming. Once again, thank you to Cathy for her professionalism and dedication. And thanks to all the staff for their service, which made us feel right at home. I'm very much looking forward to returning to InterContinental Beichen when the mountains are ablaze with autumn colors!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, I have to give a five-star rating to Mia for her exceptional guest service! From the moment we walked in, all the staff greeted us with smiles, showing such warmth and thoughtfulness. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient, and they proactively explained the facilities and patiently answered all our questions, making us feel truly valued. During our stay, Mia was always quick to respond to our needs, providing thorough and attentive service, even helping with our luggage and giving directions – truly going the extra mile with all the little details. Housekeeping was also very diligent; the room was always tidy and comfortable, and amenities were replenished promptly and thoughtfully. Check-out was smooth, and we even received a lovely little parting gift, which was a wonderful surprise. Overall, the service was professional yet incredibly warm, making us feel completely at home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time, highly recommended!

This stay was a perfect experience, a definite five-star recommendation! The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, making transportation incredibly convenient. What truly stood out during this stay was the thoughtful care from our service manager. Before we even arrived, she sent detailed directions and location info, even marking landmarks because she was worried we might get lost. She patiently answered all our questions during our communication, never once being perfunctory. The hotel facilities are very new, the room was spotless, the bathroom had no odors, and the public areas were clean and bright. For this price, the environment and service offer incredible value for money. When checking out, I happened to catch her on duty. She smiled, said goodbye, and even reminded me to watch my luggage, which instantly gave me a feeling of warmth, like family. I've stayed in many hotels, and such meticulous and considerate service is truly rare. I highly recommend it; I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. I especially want to commend Ms. Qu Xianlin, a server in the restaurant, for her exceptionally thoughtful and enthusiastic service. She personally brought us coffee and fruit, which I found very touching. Thank you, staff of Sunshine Hotel! The bedding was comfortable, and the room was spacious and very clean. GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.' The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return. From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear. The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits. At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful. The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect. Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back. Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.

GGuest UserA truly one-of-a-kind stay—Qi Shili Cave Homestay offers an experience that goes far beyond a typical accommodation. The atmosphere is both serene and distinctive, blending natural surroundings with thoughtfully curated modern comforts. My room offers a wonderful mountain view and is fully equipped with smart AI features, blending technology seamlessly with comfort. It is spacious, tranquil, and thoughtfully designed, creating a calming, zen-like atmosphere—perfect for a peaceful mountain retreat. All amenities—from the air-conditioning and heating to the shower—worked flawlessly, with excellent water pressure that added to the overall comfort of the stay. Butlers are thoughtfully assigned to each guest, providing attentive 24-hour service that makes the stay feel effortlessly personalised. Their recommendations—from park arrangements to local dining—added great value throughout. The reservation also includes a complimentary one-way airport transfer, adding a thoughtful and convenient touch to the overall experience. A special mention to Yuan Yuan, who patiently managed multiple last-minute changes to my park entry timings due to weather and seamlessly handled my reservations. Her care and efficiency truly elevated the entire experience

RRachchelloThis hostel is 40min drive away from the high speed rail station but conveniently located 5 min drive away from the west gate, which allows one to escape from the queues. We were here during the Easter holidays and even then, didn’t have to queue up for the cable cars or eco buses. Most tourists entered via the East/South Gates thus we traveled from a counter direction. There isn’t much around the hostel so be prepared to fully immerse into the quietude of village life and the songs of roosters and birds. The nearest “town” (a few supermarkets and maybe two village restaurants)is also 5min drive away and Xiaozhao nicely offered us a drive on the Buggy. There isn’t any taxi around. The ride from here to downtown ZZJ or the high speed rail station would cost around RMB200. I like most the scenery from our spacious veranda, with a view to some classical zhangjiajie landforms, and equipped with a huge tea table and a jacuzzi. It was raining often, but I had fully enjoyed my waiting time till the sky cleared up. Xiaozhao took meticulous care of us - he quickly tended to any requests and offered great recommendations on travel routes. The compound is deeply surrounded by trees and offered good privacy. Food is a little overpriced but taste is good. Drawbacks…as they position as a high-end boutique hotel, the facilities and decors are a bit aged. TV screen was small by current standard and they can do better with the coffee.
