4-Star Hotels in Catalonia, Spain

One of the best location in Barcelona. It is the center of many tourist spots and there are many restaurants, cafes, shops near the hotel. And room was very clean and well-maintained. The pool area was also very relaxing and the staffs were very kind, especially a man at the bar.

I recently stayed at Masd Mediterraneo Hotel Apartamentos Spa in Castelldefels, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is ideal—right across from the beach, with beautiful sea views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The area feels safe and quiet but still offers good access to restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel itself is modern and well-maintained. I stayed in one of the apartments, which was spacious, clean, and equipped with a kitchenette—great for longer stays. The bed was very comfortable, and the balcony overlooking the sea was a highlight. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, and the air conditioning was effective and quiet.

The hotel is conveniently located, everything is within walking distance. The staff is friendly. It's important to note that the spa is an additional fee and is accessible to children over 14 (I don't remember exactly). But most importantly, it's not allowed with small children. I recommend it for a stopover; it's also suitable for walks.

The Hotel was very good. The room was a bit small but comfortable. The staffs were very friendly and always nice at the reception. The breakfast was cool with many options of fruits and breads. I would come back next time.

After a lot of deliberation and some safety concerns, I finally booked this place, and it was absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient, really close to the subway. The residential area is clean and safe, and there's a supermarket right across the street, which was incredibly handy for getting food. The biggest surprise was booking a room with a terrace – totally worth it! Every evening, I'd enjoy a drink on the terrace while taking in the mountain views. Such a lovely experience, and amazing value for money!

The hotel was nice, nicely located on the outskirts of Barcelona so perfect if you are driving. Good value for money, the staff was nice and helpful. The free coffee was a plus! Nice clean rooms although the top shelf was a bit dusty. The outside areas and terrace would need a more regular clean, also you could smell the sewers at times. A toilet brush might be useful in the bathroom and a water fountain would be good. The towel dryer would not turn on but this might be due to the season. We had a very nice stay overall and would go there again.

The room was quite spacious; my friend and I had no problem opening up both our suitcases. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, making showers and hair washing quite comfortable. The location is pretty good too – a bit far from the subway but there's a bus stop right outside. It's super convenient for getting to Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família. The area feels safe, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The staff were very friendly and spoke English fluently, so communication was a breeze. However, there were a few issues. Firstly, there was no shower curtain for the bathtub, so the bathroom floor was soaked every time we showered, and it got quite chilly after a while. Secondly, the duvet didn't have a proper cover; instead, two sheets were used above and below it, and all three layers were tucked in so tightly under the mattress by the staff that we had to struggle to pull the duvet out every night. We ended up asking the front desk not to make our beds for the rest of our stay. Though, I hear this duvet cover situation might be common in Europe. Lastly, the soundproofing was really poor. We were lucky our neighbors weren't too noisy, and my friend and I aren't particularly sensitive to sound, but you could honestly hear every little thing happening next door. All in all, it was a mixed bag, but for the price and location, we couldn't really expect much more.

The hotel was nice overall except two noise generating problems, I had three young people as my neighbors in the next room, they were heard perfectly from my room. All their conversations, music, tv, laughs... I felt like I was living with them... Another noise problem was lift's renovation, my room 129 was just next to lifts, It was unbearable noise... I wasn't warned about this renovation, so when I felt how walls are shaking and loud drilling, I called reception desk, they didn't offer any solutions or apologies and explained it's all a part of lifts renovation. I asked them how long will this go on, they answered me that it's gona take a few days...

The room on the first floor was too damp! There were a lot of ants. There were almost no facilities in the room. The accommodation experience was average; but the restaurant was very good, especially the dinner, with a rich variety and very cheap; the most convenient thing was that it was almost inside the adventure park, which was great; the tram parking was right next to the lobby and you could charge it for free, which was great. No need to check out, and you saved the queue.
