Hotel Chalet Shanghai ★★★★
Discover a cozy, modern hotel in Shanghai, offering comfortable rooms, friendly service, and easy access to local attractions and public transit.
Dihang Boutique Hotel (Shanghai Pudong Airport) ★★★
"The environment is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. The location is convenient, and the price is affordable. It's definitely worth coming back to."
Yitel Premium (Shanghai people's Square Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street) ★★★★
"My second time staying in Yitel Premium was great. What is amazing about this hotel is the location as it’s basically right on Nanjing Pedestrian Road! Would recommend if you want to stay in the center of Shanghai."
Shanghai People's Square Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street Treasury Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel's location is super convenient, with lots of food options nearby. It's also very close to the pedestrian street. Highly recommended!"
Holiday Inn Express SHANGHAI PUDONG AIRPORT by IHG ★★★
"Great value for a layover, but brace for the morning rush. Pros: · For the rate, the room is perfectly comfortable and the food is decent. The breakfast spread (seen in the pics) actually offers a good mix—Chinese food, plus coffee and juices. For a quick airport stop, it hits the spot. · Convenient transport: If you skip the shuttle, ordering a taxi directly from the hotel to the airport is super easy and fast. Cons to note: · Elevator & shuttle crowds: The biggest inconvenience is the morning checkout rush. Everyone is heading to the airport at the same time, so the elevators get jammed, and the queue for the bus shuttle can be crowded. It's absolutely fine for the price. Just leave your room 15–20 minutes earlier than you think you need to, or simply grab a taxi from the front door to avoid the shuttle chaos. Would stay again for an early flight."
Zhexuejia Hotel (Shanghai Bund Xiaonanmen Subway Station) ★★
"The front desk staff, especially the young woman, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel also provides complimentary water and snacks. Being right above a metro station makes getting around incredibly convenient."
Crowne Plaza SHANGHAI NANJING ROAD by IHG ★★★★★
"Avoid Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road! I checked in on July 17th and found moldy, smelly food left in the fridge from the previous guest. For a five-star hotel, their housekeeping and inspection processes are completely failing. They didn't even check for forgotten items in the fridge, indicating a total breakdown in basic hygiene standards. Paying a high price for a room that smells awful and poses health risks is unacceptable. The management's oversight is glaringly obvious. Anyone considering staying here should seriously think twice."
Da Zhong Airport Hotel ★★★
"Pros: The hotel is right next to the terminal, which is super convenient for early morning flights. Cons: Not great value for money. The facilities are old and a bit rundown, and the service was just okay. I didn't get to try breakfast due to time constraints, so I can't comment on that. The room was quite small, and the decor is dated."
Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden On the Bund ★★★★
"The service was excellent; I arrived at the hotel in the morning, and they allowed early check-in. The location is superb, within walking distance of Yu Garden and the City God Temple, and also walkable to the Bund and Nanjing Road. Yu Garden is less than a 10-minute walk away. Nearby, at Gangcheng Mingdu, you can find Haidilao hot pot and mala tang. There's also a convenience store just over the overpass. When I returned to the hotel in the evening, there was supper available. The self-service laundry was very convenient, and the lobby offered free herbal tea and hot tea. A great bonus was the shuttle service to Yu Garden, the Bund, Xintiandi, and Yunnan Road Food Street."

Shanghai Yunzhi Homestay
"I stayed here last year and came again this year. The hotel environment is very clean, the stay is very comfortable, and the boss is also very good. Last year the boss picked me up and this year I drove myself. It was very convenient. The hotel has parking, so going to Disney is no problem at all👌"
Shanghai Sun Island Resorts
"Last year, we had a fantastic time in the rainforest family room. This year, we decided to try the 'Starry Sky' themed family room and the island room. The 'Starry Sky' room is definitely a dream come true for kids! As for the island room, it offered the best value for money – spacious and very comfortable. There's so much to do here: a beach pool, a parent-child exploration park, bowling, bumper cars, archery, a horse ranch, and even a KTV. It's truly a one-stop entertainment hub! It's a shame the mini farm was closed this year, but they introduced the 'Joyful Play Pass' where kids can be supervised while participating in various activities. There were so many activities, we didn't even have time to try them all, haha!"
Grand Hyatt Shanghai
Spanning floors 54–87 of the Jin Mao Tower, it offers check-in 200 meters up, a pool in the clouds, and panoramic views of all of Shanghai.
Shanghai Hyakumangoku Onsen Hotel
"The room has a very Japanese feel to it. Since it's on the first floor, the soundproofing isn't amazing, but it's acceptable. The service was also excellent. If you're going to Disneyland, this hotel's location is fantastic – they offer pickup and drop-off service, and it's right across from Bicester Village. I'd definitely stay here again! ✌️"
Wyndham Shanghai Hongqiao
"The service from Owan was incredibly warm and welcoming. They kindly offered a complimentary room upgrade at check-in, and processed my invoice very promptly. The service truly was exceptional. The hotel facilities are also excellent, with a well-equipped gym on the second floor featuring great equipment. Its proximity to Hongqiao Railway Station makes getting around very convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance."
Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World
"The room was very satisfying, clean and tidy, and the staff had a great attitude. Especially Matt at the front desk, who carefully listened to our needs."
Wheatfield Watch House
"The room was clean, and the hotel also provided shuttle service for airport and Disneyland park pick-up and drop-off, which was very convenient. Our flight arrived at 2:30am, so the hotel was unable to provide the shuttle service at that time, but we still managed to get a DIDI easily. The hotel is located quite far from Shanghai town area, and there were no restaurants nearby, which made it a little inconvenient for food options. However, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making transportation still convenient. The breakfast was very simple and the menu was the same throughout our 3-day stay. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay ✨"
Gokurakuyu Hot Spring Hotel Shanghai Chuansha
"They advertised complimentary afternoon tea with biscuits and drinks, but I've stayed here three or four times and never actually received it, so I'm not sure where that's supposed to happen. However, the place is generally very clean, offers good value for money, is close to the airport, and the service is quite good. The restaurant, on the other hand, doesn't have much to offer; I never know what to order."
Shanghai Xiangyun Resort Hotel
"The hotel facilities are complete, and the rooms are clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff are all very helpful and enthusiastic. The breakfast is good, with a wide variety of options. I personally think it's great value for money. Plus, the hotel's surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Sharing some beautiful photos I took!"

The free shuttle service to and from Disney was a lifesaver, no need to hail a ride-sharing car. The driver was punctual and reliable, and the front desk staff were very friendly. It made getting around and sightseeing incredibly convenient. I'll definitely book here again next time."
