Most importantly, it’s just walking distance to the train station and some of the shopping areas. Not to mention, the hotel staffs were helpful and easy to communicate with, cleaners were well mannered and helpful too. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, nothing to complain about."

Le Meridien Shanghai Sheshan
"This family-friendly hotel offers a fantastic experience with its beach, pool, animal feeding, zipline, and rock climbing. The Squirrel Kingdom Kids' Club is absolutely amazing, featuring a huge 700㎡ space with ball pits, slides, and climbing structures. They regularly clean and disinfect, so it feels safe and secure. My child didn't want to leave – it's the ultimate spot for kids! Our butler, Jerry, provided timely and attentive service, making for a truly satisfying stay."
Shanghai Yunzhi Homestay
"If you’re looking for a tranquil weekend away from the bustling of the city, then I would highly recommend this place. Surrounded by nature, rice farms and vegetable gardens, you can take a deep breath of fresh air and feel like you are truly in nature, without being too far from everything and without breaking the bank. This hotel is 15 min from Disney or the International Resort maglev stop by Didi, and it’s not so far out that you can’t order delicious food from Weimai. They offer a delicious Chinese breakfast but if you don’t like Chinese breakfast, you can easily order delivery. The hotel and room itself is incredibly clean and I love the clean, minimalistic and bohemian style decorations. The owners are so friendly and helpful even though they can’t speak English. Communication wasn’t an obstacle though because you can communicate with him through WeChat or a translator app."
Atour X Hotel, City Beach, Jinshan Wanda Plaza, Shanghai
"The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I came to Jinshan to celebrate my birthday with friends. When it rained as we went out in the evening, the front desk even had umbrellas available for guests to borrow. Upon checkout, they surprised us with neck pillows as a gift, which was a truly thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend!"
Fengjing Hotel (Shanghai Jinshan City Beach Branch)
"The room is clean and tidy, the service is good, the surrounding environment is nice and quiet."
Floral Hotel · Chongming Yueting, Time Village Hotel (Xijiagang Branch)
"I forgot to take pictures, but the room was clean and tidy, exactly as described. The guesthouse owner was very kind and attentive, answering all my questions. The guesthouse is very close to the dam; walking there in the evening to watch the sunset and the night view of the Yangtze River Bridge was very pleasant. Although it was a hot day, the river breeze made it very comfortable and cool. Barbecues are available in the courtyard, but you need to book in advance and bring your own ingredients. I plan to have a barbecue there next time; this little courtyard is quite comfortable."
SAVHE Hotel North Bund Shanghai
"The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Is located at north bund and requires crossing a bridge to The bund, but overall the stay was comfortable and pleasant."
MaxX By Steigenberger on the Bund Shanghai
"First, the positives: the view was excellent, the bedding comfortable, and it offered good value for money. The service was also prompt in responding to issues. Now for the negatives: the hygiene was really poor. There was a visible, thick layer of dust on the floor, next to the bathtub, and on the cabinets. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned in two weeks. Luckily, after I reported it, they immediately moved me to a new room, which was much cleaner. Secondly, the wallpaper on the TV wall had a long, unsightly wrinkle, which made it look a bit cheap. Also, the showerhead in the bathroom was fixed and couldn't be adjusted, making showering very uncomfortable. There's a clear difference compared to a Waldorf Astoria, but then again, the price reflects that. Overall, it was an average stay, neither outstanding nor terrible."
Shanghai Garden Rezen Hotel
"Fantastic, family-friendly hotel with exceptional amenities and service! We had a highly pleasant and happy stay at the Shanghai Rezen Garden Hotel from May 31st to June 3rd. It is an incredibly convenient and family-friendly place to stay, especially for foreign travelers. The Room: Our room was very large, spotlessly clean, and featured convenient automatic curtains and toilets. It also included a comfortable sofa bed, which easily accommodated our family. The hotel thoughtfully provided kid-sized slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The main bed was quite spacious, though the mattress comfort level could be slightly improved. Additionally, the shower head spray was a bit too strong for young children, so a softer pressure option would be a great upgrade. The Food: The breakfast buffet offers a wonderful spread of both traditional Chinese and international options. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the menu, and a huge plus for families is that breakfast is free for children under 1.3 meters! I personally highly recommend the cream puffs and fresh soy milk—they were absolutely delicious. The Amenities (A Huge Plus!): The amenities here are superb! Having a supermarket right inside the hotel was a major highlight for us as foreigners; it quickly became our go-to spot for daily breads, drinks, and snacks. On top of that, there is a great souvenir shop on Level 1 that sells Disney merchandise (perfect if you want to grab a Disney hat or last-minute gifts) and they even provide stroller rentals, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also features an indoor playground with unlimited access for the kids. This gave us a much-needed breather to relax in the lobby and organize our daily itinerary while the children were happily entertained. Furthermore, the lobby hosts a helpful tour agent and coordinates multi-destination shuttles that make us want to return on our next trip to Shanghai. To top it off, the 24-hour Chinese restaurant serves delicious food delivered right to your room by a robot, which the kids absolutely loved. The Service: Truly awesome. The coordination for the airport, Disney, and zoo shuttles was seamless. The cleaning auntie was incredibly kind and proactively provided extra bottled water for our family. A special shout-out to the front desk team: I forgot my vitamins, and they went above and beyond by helping me purchase them via ******* and delivering them to my room-door in less than 45mins. I appreciated this so much! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Shanghai!"
Hengshan Garden Hotel
"Although a bit dated, the room was spacious, the windows could be opened, and it was very clean. The shower had great water pressure, which was a plus. The dryer was a real bonus; it could fit several items of clothing. The service was polite and just right—not overly enthusiastic nor cold, which I really appreciated. The surrounding area is great for exploring; there's a small park at almost every intersection, and convenience stores and the subway are close by. I had some delicious sea urchin and sweet shrimp rice nearby, and a great Japanese solo dining spot too (I'll share photos!). There's also good coffee nearby, and I even bought a beautiful silver ring. Back to the hotel, they provided extra-large umbrellas when it poured. After the rain stopped, I tried some of the hotel's pastries, which were just okay, but sitting by the window with a view was a nice bonus."
JOYA Hotel Shanghai Lujiazui
"They upgraded us to a family room. The window-side table was just moved to where the TV is, and some chairs were removed. So, the space hasn't actually changed at all. Also, I have to say, that recliner must have saved the owner's life, considering its condition, and they still haven't thought about replacing it."
Ocean Hotel Shanghai
"The location is very close to Raffles city and few walking to the north bund river view. It’s beautiful and more quiet. Room is big enough for the 3 of us, it is clean and the hotel has good varieties of food every morning. Staff are friendly."
Chuxin Moshe Hotel (Shanghai International Tourism Resort)
"We booked for airport transfer from the hotel via we chat. They response very quickly. However the shuttle got problem on the way and could not make it to the airport but they informed us quickly and try to help in every way. The service and their responsibility are impressive. During our stay, the front and the bell are very helpful. They try to help for every request we ask. They cannot speak English but that was not the problem, with translation equipment, the communication is no more the problem. The facilities are superb. Shower with good water flow, easily adjusted. I really love their shampoo with Sandalwood fragrance, good quality. We stay in zootopia room. The room was designed with nice details. The mattress and blanket are good quality. They even have massage chair at the lobby, very thoughtful for the long day at Disneyland. The food are mostly Chinese way, but they have some selection for kids and foreigner. The fried vegetables are tasty, freshly from the family garden in front of the hotel. Our family enjoy the breakfast. The location is good for the ones who would like to have a touch with local not the city. Many local restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. Easily access to Disneyland. Their Disney shuttle system via we chat is very effective. I picked this hotel because they provide many rounds of Disney transfers. And even we pick other time, taxi is just 18-20 yuan, 10 min away. The hotel is quite far away from Shanghai city 1+ hours by taxi. But it is in the middle between city and Shanghai astronomy museum, which suits us well. Thanks all staffs for the hospitality."
Radisson Collection Hotel,Xing Guo Shanghai
"Hidden gem in the bustling heart of Shanghai, Xinguo Hotel is a discreet yet luxurious garden oasis. Its historic villas and lush courtyards make every moment feel like a scene from a classic film. The service is meticulous, breakfast offers a rich variety, and the Western kitchen's à la carte options are absolutely delicious. My stay was an experience beyond expectations! The travel photography here is exceptional, with stunning results. We captured timeless moments amidst the century-old architecture and verdant greenery. The photographer skillfully captured the ambiance, resulting in every shot being gentle and sophisticated. It’s truly the best choice for travel photography in Shanghai!"
Shanghai Xiangyun Resort Hotel
"Nice place to stay near shanghai disneyland, suitable for family with little kids.. room lay out is fun, and they provided amenities for kids too. Shuttle to disneyland and airport also available"
Holiday Inn Shanghai International Resort by IHG
"Extremely satisfied with our stay! First off, the hotel's location is perfectly situated between Disney and the Safari Park, making it super convenient and close for taxis. This was a huge plus for our family who often decides where to go on a whim! Of course, the hotel also offers shuttle bus services, and we saw many guests using them. Service: Our butler was Richard, and he kept in touch from our check-in day right through to our departure. His service was attentive, patient, and very enthusiastic – he definitely deserves a huge shout-out! Cleanliness: Spotless! Families with kids can rest assured. Features: The kids' activity center was also very clean. For dinner, they have a beef hotpot buffet, so if you don't feel like going out, you can definitely fill up right at the hotel."
Wassim R Hotel
"The hotel has a great atmosphere and the facilities are excellent. It's very quiet, and the front desk staff, especially one lady, was incredibly welcoming. She even helped us get an upgraded room! The surrounding area is very convenient for dining and shopping, and transportation is easily accessible."
Shanghai Lujiazui Riverside Center IntercityHotel
Discover a modern hotel in Shanghai’s Lujiazui Riverside area, offering comfortable, well-designed rooms with city and river views, practical amenities, and convenient access to the financial district, The Bund, and nearby shopping and business hubs.
New Century Grand Hotel Shanghai Songjiang
"Although it's an older hotel, you can still see its five-star pedigree. Considering the room size, facilities, and location, it offers excellent value for money. If you're looking for something brand new, spacious, and in a prime location, you'd likely be paying a much higher price. The staff are all very warm, friendly, and thoughtful, which is a definite bonus. A special mention goes to the breakfast buffet's coffee – they offer Illy (the 'little red hat' brand), and you can get an espresso shot to make your own latte or Americano, which I really loved ❤️"
MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel (Shanghai Xujiahui Hengshan Road)
"The room facilities are thoughtfully designed, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Housekeeper LiLy is very observant and proactively helped resolve various small issues. The public areas and guest rooms are elegant and quiet, with impeccable hygiene, visibly spotless. The hotel also offers free parking, making for a truly peaceful stay."
Shanghai Maixinge International Hotel (Zhoupu Metro Station Wanda Mall)
"Extremely satisfied, everything was great! The breakfast was superb, and they even offered free late-night snacks. I've been staying here for years when attending CPHI, and the service is absolutely top-notch. Every staff member is warm and attentive, truly making you feel at home. Today, they even surprised me with an unexpected little gift – so grateful!"
