"The service at Grand Hyatt Beijing truly warmed my heart! The handsome Cartier at the front desk not only proactively added me on WeChat but also provided incredibly thoughtful follow-up care for our stay—fresh fruit was already waiting for us on the table when we arrived in our room. Checking out was a breeze; I just had to confirm my details at the front desk, and it was done in minutes, no waiting at all. They even asked about my experience during checkout. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing!"

"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

The front recept, surnamed Ms 黄 provided exceptional service and always smiling and very helpful for everything, even helped check if my friend's phone was left in the room. And they are very responsive in WeChat. It's a superb hotel that I will return to in future. Parcel delivery very convenient as will send their robot to ur room. Only minus pt is mayb a little difficult for driver to find cos it's hidden btw the church and a duck eating place and the name of the hotel isn't shown if entering fr the back lane."

"For our stay in Beijing we did choose the Le Joy Hotel and it was a key ingredient to make the trip fantastic. The Hotel is perfectly located to visit Beijing's most important attractions. The nearby Xidan station gives access to lines 1 and 4, providing an easy way to reach Tien'anmen, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace as well as walking street areas such as as TQuianmen, Dashilan, Wangfujing and Shishahai. Our room was spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable. We often have problems with hotel beds but not in this case and at the end of our daily long walks we enjoyed a very good rest. The restaurant offers an outstanding breakfast with a large buffet with a variety of food and drinks, all of excellent quality. Last but not least, the personnel was very friendly and helpful, supporting us in bookings and providing us with information. In particular Xuanxuan/Candice supported us also through WeChat all along our stay. I strongly recommend Le Joy Hotel for a trip to Beijing!"

Jialong Hotel (Beijing Chaoyangmen) ★★★★
"The hotel looked great. The room was way bigger than expected. We had a bedroom and a living room separately and the bathroom was also spacious. The interior design looked very nice. The hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The language barrier was crossed with the help of translation apps and it worked out completely fine. We had ordered some packages and we couldn’t find all of them in the beginning due to issues with the courier and the hotel staff went out of their way and beyond to help us sort everything even taking over the communication in Chinese with the courier. The cleaning ladies were also very nice. There were only two things which were a little negative for us personally: the breakfast items were not all ideally labeled, which made it slightly difficult for someone with diet restrictions like us. Also, upon entering our room after check-in, the temperature device showed us 32°C inside of the room while it was about 10°C outside. We called the front desk for help and they sent two staff members to the room quickly. Unfortunately, due to a language barrier we weren’t able to understand what the problem was. We were offered to change rooms, but since we were only staying for one night, we decided against the offer. All in all, and especially regarding the price, we would definitely book this hotel again when we visit Beijing."
