MmindyTThis hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. It feels like a Ritz-Carlton but with even warmer, more personal service. The corridors are lined with plush carpets, the materials and finishes are all rich and top-notch, and my child immediately described it as “posh” — I’d add that it’s also very zen, peaceful and quiet. The room is generously sized, quiet and very zen. The hotel is new, modern and “smart”: when you get out of bed in the morning, a soft foot light comes on automatically so you don’t have to scramble for switches. The kids loved pressing buttons to close the curtains, and I liked being able to choose between work lighting and cosy ambience at a single touch. Service here is outstanding. Everyone is fully dedicated, responsible, warm and kind — and very prompt. Nothing is ever too much trouble; everything is handled politely, respectfully and thoughtfully, so you really feel safe and well looked after. The team also has a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the comfort and makes the stay feel relaxed and friendly rather than stiff. On top of that, they even helped me plan safe and cost-effective travel options — such amazing, value-added service. Special thanks to Xiaoyu and Xiaoliu, who were excellent throughout. Xiaoyu especially made the extra effort to be promptly on hand via WeChat, helping with any queries even after hours — it honestly felt like having a friend there with us. The rest of the team were equally attentive and caring, and I noticed everyone would greet the guests, including the cleaners. It is a very well-run hotel: not just following instructions but offering real service from the heart. When we checked out, they even surprised us with bags of lovely snacks, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was wonderful. The spread has everything one could ever need: noodles and omelettes cooked on the spot with a rich meat stew, a choice of porridges (I especially liked the millet), plus Western and kid-friendly options, and many different drinks to choose from. Insider tip: don’t miss the croissant — it has egg custard inside as a filling! The toiletries, like the shampoo and soap, are specially made and feel high quality — another small touch that shows how much care has gone into the details. The location is incredibly convenient. Huge malls and a hypermart are literally at the doorstep, and the MRT/subway is linked directly to the hotel. The nearby malls and eateries are massive and have everything you could possibly want. There’s an outlet mall about 15 minutes away, so shopping is definitely covered. Practical bonuses: major banks are right downstairs, and if you need to change RMB, the exchange rate is very good and the fees are reasonable. There’s even a salon if you feel like getting a new haircut during your stay. Through the connected mall, you can find food of every kind, including Michelin-starred options — including a restaurant that serves crab cooked in liquor and delicious braised radish. Although the hotel is luxurious, modern and packed with smart features, what I treasure most is the dedication, warmth and sincerity of the staff. I’ve stayed at many other hotel chains, but this experience is way beyond anything I’ve had before. This stay has now set a very high bar for other hotels to match. Highly, highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis stay was a last-minute decision because my flight was cancelled that night. We're not familiar with Beijing at all and it was so late, we didn't know which hotel to choose. Luckily, I've always liked the HUAZHU brand, and I figured it wouldn't disappoint. The overall experience after checking in was excellent! First, the service was incredibly thoughtful. From my initial phone call to checking in at the front desk, the staff were all very enthusiastic and efficient. Second, although the room was small, the facilities were very new, with plenty of power outlets and ports. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. I particularly loved the 'hand hand' wooden smoky-scented toiletries. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent. Additionally, the hotel's location is very convenient, especially for an overnight layover. It's right by the Airport Express and Sanyuanqiao subway station, just about 200 meters from the exit. There's also a large shopping center, Phoenix City, nearby with many high-quality restaurants. The only minor issue might be that the heating was a bit too high and couldn't be adjusted down. But considering the city, location, convenience, and both soft and hard amenities, I can easily give it 5 stars! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with my stay! The hotel is conveniently located, with convenient transportation around it, and is close to the attractions/business districts I want to visit. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was very quick. They also introduced the hotel facilities and surroundings to me. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. In particular, the water pressure and hot water in the bathroom were very powerful and relaxing. Although I only stayed for one night, the overall experience was very pleasant and the price-performance ratio was super high! I will choose this hotel again next time I come here, and I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic! It's close to the subway, but even closer to the bus stop. I stayed for one night and it was so comfortable; I practically melted into the bed, haha! The cleanliness was excellent, and the room was really multifunctional – you could even connect via Bluetooth and play music. The air conditioning was adjustable, not just for show, which was a pleasant surprise. Great value for money; I'll definitely choose this place again when I bring my family to Beijing next time!

MMojiChoosing Renaissance for my Beijing trip was the best decision! It's so convenient for getting around. The single bed in the standard room was incredibly spacious, and the shower had great water pressure – very comfortable. The room was clean, and I especially loved interacting with Luna, a front desk staff member from Inner Mongolia. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The new complimentary afternoon tea set was beautiful; hopefully, the taste can be improved next time. The breakfast environment is good, but I wish they'd add more high-quality options in the future. Next time, I'd love to stay in a room with a view of the Forbidden City. The view from the 17th-floor corridor was absolutely amazing!

AAitiqiudezhangjiekeThis was my second stay, and as before, the room was clean, spacious, and tidy. The breakfast was also good. However, the pool experience this time was rather disappointing, perhaps because it's outsourced to a fitness club. I also tried the Japanese restaurant on the first floor, but the overall experience was just average.

WwindcatpapaThe hotel's opulent decor makes you feel like you're staying in a palace. Its location near East 3rd Ring Road, right by Yansha Blue Harbor, is super convenient for dining and entertainment. I always recommend this hotel to friends who visit. While the room facilities are a bit older, the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and the room itself is very clean and spacious. It's a hotel I really love and would definitely consider for a long-term stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. As a Hyatt brand, its taste and quality are definitely on point. The decor is warm and stylish, and the front desk offers complimentary welcome fruits and a 24-hour self-service tea station. The room itself is very comfortable, and I have to praise the pillows – they're incredibly soft. Plus, there are free snacks and drinks (Coke and Sprite) in the room. Overall, highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe had a very comfortable stay at Qinglian Furun Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, providing a relaxing environment throughout our stay. During our visit, the lift was under maintenance, and the hotel kindly offered us free breakfast, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The location is excellent, with easy access to the subway, making it very convenient for getting around Beijing. The staff were very accommodating and responsive, especially in assisting us with our early check-in request, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great stay with excellent service—I would definitely recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Grand Millennium Beijing for two weeks, and overall, it was decent. The only standout positive was the two housekeeping ladies; they were absolutely amazing. For the last eleven days of my stay, 'Zhao Juanjuan' was my attendant, and she was incredibly thorough and attentive. She folded my clothes neatly every time. She remembered all my habits and room preferences, diligently helping me each day with my requests. She even helped air out cigarette smells, opened and closed windows according to my schedule, dealt with strange odors from the bathroom drain, and scrubbed the bathtub daily. Basically, she was always responsive to my needs, incredibly kind, and always enthusiastic to help. If I ever return to the Grand Millennium Beijing, I'd specifically want to stay on the floor she services. However, the hotel's policy on food delivery was frustrating. They wouldn't allow any deliveries to be left at the concierge, not even non-food items. It was really annoying. They only permit deliveries to be left in outdoor lockers, which means in winter, all your food gets cold. What's more, they have staff dedicated solely to pressing elevator buttons, so why can't they assign someone to bring deliveries up? There are no robots either, which was a real pain. I put up with it because I could see the 'Big Trousers' (CCTV Headquarters) from the lobby downstairs. Also, there was a persistent cigarette smell throughout the room, even in the bathroom. Another issue is that the hotel's decor is quite dated. There was a sewage-like smell from the sink, which made me want to gag while brushing my teeth in the morning. Everything else was fine. If you're looking for a newer hotel at a similar price, you could try the NUO Hotel Beijing or the Jing Guang Centre Hotel. But if you want to stay near the 'Big Trousers,' then the Millennium or Rosewood are your best bets.
