The Citadines City Center Liverpool is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Citadines City Center Liverpool is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Liverpool. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"I always stay at Delta when I'm in Liverpool for business, but this time I booked too late and had to stay here. It's an Ascott group hotel, located on the main commercial street, and only a 5-minute walk from Lime Street Station. It's very quiet, and all the facilities are new, plus the rooms are quite spacious. The only minor drawback is that there's no restaurant, so no breakfast... For the past few days, I've had to make do with buying food from Lidl for breakfast. Oh, and by the way, a HeyTea actually opened right across from the hotel... seems like most of the customers are older Chinese women and international students. All in all, this hotel is really good."

"Stayed one night with my daughter for my birthday. The hotel is very central and the reception staff were welcoming. Our room was large and modern, but extremely dark, if you plan on doing makeup, it might be worth bringing a lighted mirror. I had requested a quiet room and was placed at the back, but unfortunately there was a constant noise that sounded like a generator, as well as the sound of glass bottles being emptied somewhere. Some guests also returned around 4 a.m., so I was lucky if I got an hour of sleep. That said, I would still stay again."

The Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection by IHG

The location is excellent, about a ten-minute walk from Lyme Street train station and Albert Pier. The hotel facilities are fairly complete, but toiletries like toothbrushes need to be requested from the front desk as they are not provided in the standard rooms. The hotel staff are generally friendly. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and à la carte options; while not extensive, the à la carte food is quite refined. Overall, a good experience.

When we arrived, we noticed we had been given a far inferior room than we've ever had before. The view was terrible. There was no fridge which we have always had before and the room looked 'tired'...in need of TLC. I went to reception to tell them I was not happy. Anyway they did sort it. Gave us another room with a better view and the young girl on reception brought us an old, but working mini fridge.. so it worked out OK in the end ( I need a fridge to put some of my medication in.) Another lady on the desk was very curt when I said there was no fridge and stated....not all rooms automatically have a fridge in them. Sorry but I thought they did. Whoever makes loose leaf tea in the restaurant needs to learn it is 1 tsp of tea per person and 1 for the pot. In this case 3tsp of tea and not half a teapot full. I kid you not. See pic below. We got a refund for some of the tea, but nit for the cream tea my friend had. My friend had ordered a cream tea and me, just a tea. Yet they brought a pot of tea for 2, which is the wrong etiquette for an order like this. Hence we only got 2 cups out of it, because of the amount of loose tea in there. I think I have been spoiled by the superior standard of the rooms, when we have stayed before....I just presumed all their rooms would be like this

Hard Days Night Hotel Liverpool

Hard Days Night Hotel is in the heart of The Beatles area, next to Mathew Street where The Cavern Club is located. Despite its being weekend, we didn't hear any noise at night from our room on the fifth floor. The bedroom was large and pleasant. (Our room had a picture of George - my favourite Beatle - on the wall, which made me very happy!) Things some people find remiss are (1) no fridge in the room (at least not in the Classic Double), (2) TV had a very basic remote and fuction, and while it claimed to allow internet access, we couldn't use any app /mirroring from our iPhones; (3) toiletaries were very basic (just liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner refilled); (4) no movable shower with a hose. Breakfast was truly excellent! It's self-service buffet-type, but all the full-English parts were there and they were all very, very good. We also went to a bar in the evening and it was also very nice with Beatle-themed cocktails, in addition to usual drinks. Overall, we would definitely love to come back to this hotel!

Really comfy bed, plenty of pillows, complimentary slippers and robes. No air con (our trip was in the heatwave and it was 33 degrees) but a big fan. Went into the restaurant (seven seas? Seven Sisters?), waited awhile but wasn’t acknowledged, so left and went to the castaway bar for food instead. Location was fab! We were going to a gig at Anfield, took 45 mins to walk back. Reception staff were lovely and helpful

A Memorable Birthday Celebration Rating: ★★★★★★★★★★ I celebrated my birthday at the Titanic Hotel , and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The outstanding service, coupled with thoughtful touches like a birthday card and complimentary chocolates, made my day truly special. The luxurious room provided a comfortable and elegant space to relax and enjoy my stay. What's more, the hotel's spa is undoubtedly one of the best I've ever visited. The attention to detail and quality of treatments were second to none. The view from my room was breathtaking, overlooking the water and offering a glimpse of the hotel's beautiful luxury apartments. I highly recommend this exceptional hotel for any occasion, as it offers an unparalleled experience that goes above and beyond expectations.

The hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk. The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased. Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient. We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.

Pullman Liverpool

8.8/10

I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

We checked-in quite late, but was helped instantly by a member of staff. Very efficient. Breakfast was great, with a lot of different options. I did however find a used mug and spoon in our room, but as we checked-in late, we didnt go and complain.

This was one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant front desk clerk. The lobby has a lot of character in keeping with the Titanic theme and the pictures of the rooms had the same theme. We arrived at our room (fourth floor #46) located on a dark hallway that was being painted. The room was large and also had some plush features like the curtains, furniture, chandelier and wallpaper. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Our room was very hot, with no ventilation and one small fan. The desk clerk offered to bring a second fan when we requested a hair dryer, but the second fan never arrived. The windows could not be opened even a crack ”due to safety reasons”. The room was sweltering and sleeping was extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the carpet was very dirty, there was mold on the wall above the bathtub and the sink, the lights beside the beds needed to be replaced, and the towel rack was missing from the wall. There was a small kitchen which was nice, but it was missing the basics (glassware, silverware, plates) and one of the drawers was missing its front. In short, the room was in bad shape and we are very surprised they would host anyone in that room. In the lobby, there was a young man sitting at the Concierge desk and when we asked him for directions, he said he was security and had no idea. He could not have been less interested and barely looked up from his phone. Apparently, the rooftop bar is nice, but we did not go there. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and are pretty easy going when it comes to our expectations. This hotel has so much potential, but the experience was a huge disappointment and we would not stay there again and cannot recommend anyone stay there.

Crowne Plaza LIVERPOOL JOHN LENNON AIRPORT by IHG

The Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.  Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.  We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool.
