"I stayed at the Feihua Apartment by West Lake for three nights, and I was a bit sad to leave, so I wanted to write a review. Its location is truly the biggest advantage. West Lake is right downstairs; it's not one of those places that claims to be 'close to West Lake' but requires a kilometer or two walk. You literally turn a corner and you're at the lake. Every morning, I'd go for a stroll by the lake after breakfast to digest, and in the evening, I'd go back to watch the sunset. West Lake felt like my backyard. It's also incredibly close to Wulin Night Market, which is just downstairs. Every night, I could try different foods, so I never had to worry about what to eat, although it wasn't particularly amazing, haha. There are also many bus stops nearby, making it super convenient to get to places like Lingyin Temple and Broken Bridge. Staying here saved a lot of travel time for my Hangzhou trip. While there are many guesthouses in this building, Feihua Apartment has an office where you can store luggage, which is incredibly practical. On our last day, after checking out, we wanted to visit Hefang Street, so we just left our suitcases at their office instead of dragging them around, which made things much easier. Someone was always on duty at the office, so storing and retrieving luggage was convenient and free – such a thoughtful service. The room is newly renovated, and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. The overall color scheme is warm white and wood, making it look clean and comfortable. All the furniture is new – wardrobe, nightstands, and a desk are all there, making it easy to put things away. The windows are well soundproofed; even though it was lively downstairs at night, it was very quiet once the windows were closed. The bedding was comfortable, and the duvet covers and pillowcases smelled like they had been dried and aired out, making for a restful sleep. I even saw people from 'West Grass' (西部草) packing up the linens when we left, which shows they're not using a small, local laundry service but send them out for professional cleaning, which gave me peace of mind. I have to specifically praise the toiletries. Guesthouses usually don't pay much attention to this, but the shampoo and body wash provided by Feihua Apartment truly exceeded expectations. The toothbrush was soft-bristled, the toothpaste was a branded, individually packaged one, and even the comb was good quality, not one of those flimsy plastic ones that break easily. These details make you feel like the host is genuinely committed to providing a good experience, not just doing the bare minimum. The host, Auntie, was a highlight of our stay. She was incredibly warm-hearted. We arrived close to 9 PM, and she was still there, taking us upstairs and patiently explaining how to use the air conditioning and adjust the water heater. One day, it rained in Hangzhou, and Auntie even messaged us to ask if we had an umbrella, offering one from the office if we needed it. These small gestures really warmed our hearts. All in all, our stay was very comfortable. The location, environment, and service were all impeccable. I would confidently recommend this place to anyone visiting West Lake."

"We had an amazing stay here. The apartment is light, spacious and airy. The bed is huge and really comfortable and the shower and bathroom are also lovely. Having a kitchen with utensils, hob and microwave meant we could cook in the evenings which is a huge plus. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was varied and tasty with some western options, fresh noodles and omelettes, fresh fruits and salads, bread, cheese, pastries and amazing coffee and fresh juices. We used the pool several times (remember your swim caps!) and it was large and really nice for a swim. The location is great. It's close to the West Lake area. We walked there and back which was about 45mins each way, but it's also very easy to jump in a Didi to venture further around to see the Tiger Springs or Nine Creeks and Misty Forest areas which are really beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We arrived a little early and they checked us in straight away and very promptly answered all my questions. We asked for a late check-out and we were generously accommodated which was an added bonus. Oh - and the lobby and hotel smell amazing too! We will 100% stay here again when we return to Hanghzhou and would highly recommend it to other travellers if you'd like some luxury alongside home comforts."

"It's about a 6-minute walk from Nanxingqiao Station. There's no sign on the ground floor, but you can go directly into Building B, head to the far left, enter door number 1512 to get in, and then take the elevator inside to the 15th floor for check-in. The front desk is small, but that's not important 😊. The staff were incredibly friendly; they didn't just hand over the room card and leave. They personally escorted me to the room and gave a brief introduction to its features 👍. I was genuinely surprised upon entering the room! It was very spacious, and the best part was the stunning view of the Qiantang River 🌊✨. Some hotels make it difficult to even open a suitcase, but here there was ample space, plus a separate walk-in closet! For this price, some hotels don't even offer a fridge, but this one came with a large refrigerator that has both freezer and fridge compartments, which is a huge bonus 👍. Although breakfast isn't provided, there's a place called 'Bao Da Si' right outside on the ground floor. It opens early, so you can grab breakfast items like fried dough sticks and steamed buns 🥟. Summary: Excellent value for money 💯. The staff are very friendly 👍. The room is spacious, and the Qiantang River view from the window is truly beautiful 🌊✨. If I visit Hangzhou again, I will definitely stay here! 😊"

"The room was very comfortable, the price was right, and the location was excellent – convenient for getting everywhere. The only downside was the elevator, which was a bit slow. I encountered two main issues: 1. The range hood was broken. I bought steak to cook, and the whole room filled with smoke. Later, I had the property management come look at it, and they found that the aluminum foil duct had come disconnected from the main pipe. I suspect they then cut the power so guests wouldn't use it. Property management offered to reconnect it and restore power, but I declined as it seemed like too much hassle at the time. I ended up having to take the uncooked steak home the next day. 2. When I checked in, I confirmed a 2 PM checkout time, and the front desk said they'd noted it. On the day of checkout, at 12:40 PM, I received a call asking if I wanted to extend my stay, and I explicitly stated I'd be back before 2 PM to check out. However, when I returned to the hotel at 12:55 PM, my key card wouldn't open the door. I called the front desk, and they couldn't send a card up to my room; I had to go downstairs to reactivate it. They also told me that key cards are normally set to expire at 1 PM, even though my card stopped working at 12:55 PM."

"perfect and comfortable place for family, right below the hotel is the metro train station, maybe 10 minutes walk underground connecting, all the food outlets, and even the supermarket , have washing machine and dryer too, wifi is not an issue at all, only my VPN was having some delay / slowness, all in all highly recommend for its nearest walk able distance to the train station"

"This place is an absolute 10/10. The apartment is very secure and clean, with a modern style. The building takes your facial scan after you check in. The rooms were very spacious and has a magnificent view of the city area. Bathroom is clean, has a washing machine. Their front desk is on the 6th floor, the staff working there is very helpful and can store packages for you before you even arrive. The maintenance crew is also very neat. The main attraction here is it's located in the middle of a few malls, there are plenty of very good restaurants and high end shops on the ground floor as it is very convenient for us within walking distance. Nike, McDonalds, KFC, pizza hut, subway, Mi store to name a few. Oh and there's street food available right in front of the apartment building after 9pm. Very convenient location, will visit again for sure 😊. Kindly note the nearest metro station is about 1km away though."

"The room had a small balcony with direct views of West Lake at night. The evening lights were beautiful, and you could see the mountains in the distance and Leifeng Pagoda up close. It's a top choice for getting around; it's very convenient to walk to the bus stop and take a bus for 5 yuan directly to Lingyin Temple."

"The room is very spacious, offering a perfect living experience, and comes fully equipped with all household appliances, including a washer-dryer combo, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and rice cooker. The hotel is directly connected to a mall downstairs, parking is free, and getting around nearby is super convenient. My friend and I stayed for two days and were extremely satisfied. The service was excellent; both check-in and check-out were swift. They even contacted me about an item I left in the room and arranged to have it couriered back. A special thanks to Daisy!"

"Facilities: Well-equipped, with disposable face towels and slippers, and a wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Hygiene: The cleaning staff did an excellent job; it was very clean and hygienic. Environment: Unexpectedly, it's right opposite Hangzhou East Station. Watching the high-speed trains depart at night was like watching a blockbuster movie. After walking back and forth twice, I finally figured out how to get to the hotel from Hangzhou East Station Metro, and it feels much safer than walking on the street outside, especially at night. There are men blocking the pathways outside the East Station trying to solicit guests for accommodation, which felt unsafe. Service: The front desk staff was quick with check-in and check-out and escorted me to the hotel building downstairs. You need to use your key card to operate the elevator. Most guests are short-term travelers, so safety is paramount."
