Hotel near West Lake Lakeside Area,Hangzhou
"Finally found a hotel near West Lake with great value for money! The interior is quiet, isolating the street noise, and the hygiene stands up to close inspection. Facilities are well-maintained and run smoothly. The travel uncle (staff member) patiently answered questions about scenic routes and gave taxi recommendations, saving a lot of trouble during our trip. Overall, everything was well-balanced, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Hangzhou."

"My stay at the InterContinental Hangzhou (the 'Big Golden Ball') was initially just for the landmark, but I was unexpectedly deeply impressed by the service. The day before arrival, I received a call from Manager Zheng of the hotel, who patiently inquired about my check-in time and any special requests. When checking in, upon learning that my husband hoped to capture a satisfactory view from the room, Manager Zheng went above and beyond, tirelessly coordinating floor orientation and the room with the best view for us. Sure enough, that night, when the lights on the opposite bank reflected on the river, I truly felt all of Hangzhou's romance was encapsulated within that one window. The next morning, the Qiantang River's sunrise glow was like an overturned palette, with pinks, purples, oranges, and deep blues interwoven. You barely needed to adjust the composition; every shot turned out magnificent. Perhaps this is the caliber of the 'Big Golden Ball' – not only is the hardware unbeatable, but the service is also subtly exceptional. This kind of service, where 'needs are truly heard and acted upon,' made us, the guests, deeply feel what a truly top-tier hotel is all about. Thank you, InterContinental, and thank you, Manager Zheng and the front desk staff, for giving us a perfect trip to Hangzhou. Next time we visit Hangzhou, the InterContinental will definitely be our only choice."

"True to its reputation as a seasoned star-rated hotel, the service here is excellent. The rooms are spotless, and the location is superb. It's right by Exit B of Metro Line 1, just a few minutes' walk from West Lake. The staff proactively gave us directions to Lingyin Temple – you just turn right out of the hotel and take the 103 bus directly there in three minutes. The Wulin Night Market is also nearby, and there's a lovely rooftop garden. We booked a standard room, and the 1.35m single beds were very spacious. When the front desk saw we were a family of three, they offered an extra set of toiletries and slippers and even upgraded us to a scenic room with a view of West Lake! Luggage storage was also handled very responsibly. All in all, it was a perfect stay, highly recommended!"

Hotel near West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area,Hangzhou
West Lake State Guesthouse in Hangzhou is the official designated hotel where the Chinese state leaders met and hosted state dinners with foreign heads of states during the G20 Hangzhou Summit and the BRICS Leaders Meeting. The hotel is located at the heart of the West Lake Scenic Area and is therefore known as “the West Lake within the West Lake”. Nestled between the mountain and the lake, it covers an area of 360,000 m2 and a lake shoreline of over 2000 meters. All the famous tourist attractions of Hangzhou are within 30 minutes’ drive of the hotel. Staying here, guests can enjoy a close-up view of “Spring Dawn at Su Causeway” and a distant view of “Leifeng Pagoda in Evening Glow”, or walk for a few minutes to “Huagang Fish Pond” or “Quyuan Lotus Garden”.Chairman Mao Zedong drafted the first Constitution of the People’s Republic of China here. He stayed in the hotel for a grand total 27 times, giving this place special historic significance. Prominent foreign political figures and celebrities including former US President Richard Nixon and former South African President Nelson Mandela have both stayed here. The hotel has witnessed important historic events. For example, the octagonal pavilion here was where the China-US Joint Communiqué was initialed. The hotel is elegant in style. Rooms are luxurious yet cozy with great views. The hotel is also known for hosting state dinners. For successive years Ziwei Hall has been ranked among the Top 50 Chinese Restaurants. There are sophisticated meeting facilities, yachts, concert hall, cinema, SPA as well as teahouses with distinctive local flavor. This is the perfect place to get a unique experience featuring a leisurely lifestyle at one of the world’s cultural heritage sites.

"I was initially torn between staying at the Xihu State Guest Hotel and the Xizi Hotel, but ultimately chose the Xihu State Guest Hotel because of its larger grounds. Here are my thoughts: 1. **Absolutely beautiful!** It's lush, green, with charming bridges and flowing water, right on West Lake. You can gaze at Leifeng Pagoda in the distance, past the Su Causeway. It truly feels like living in a park, so much so that I didn't want to leave the hotel at all. (Because the Su Causeway blocks part of the view, you can't see the entire expanse of West Lake, but this also contributes to its peacefulness.) 2. I stayed in Building 7, and the **service was excellent**. The staff were truly exemplary – they'd immediately stand up when they saw a guest, answer every question, and were patient and gentle. 3. Of course, **it's not perfect**. The soundproofing isn't great; I could hear my neighbors getting ready early in the morning. The hotel also isn't cheap, but they use a L'Oréal hairdryer? And for two or three thousand a night, the amenities included Twinings tea bags? And the minibar is chargeable? While I don't really drink a lot of beverages, at this price point, I truly didn't expect them to skimp on these small costs. Also, breakfast... it was quite something. I won't comment on the taste, but the variety wasn't extensive either. So, my positive review is really for the ambiance and the service. If you're looking for a quiet escape, you shouldn't miss this place!"

With its contemporary minimalist design and practical, efficient service philosophy, the hotel offers business travelers and transit passengers a convenient and comfortable accommodation experience. It is an ideal choice for those with layovers in Hangzhou or early/late flight schedules.

"I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hangzhou International Airport during my layover, and my overall experience was absolutely perfect. It's definitely the top choice for airport transfers or catching an early morning flight. The hotel is seamlessly connected to Terminal 4, just a two to three-minute walk directly to the departure hall. No need to brave the elements with your luggage, making late-night arrivals and early-morning departures incredibly convenient. Plus, the subway line is right downstairs, offering unbeatable transportation options. The quality of the room far exceeded my expectations. It was spacious and airy, featuring elegant Song Dynasty-inspired design and expansive views from the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The biggest surprise was the double-glazed soundproof windows; even though we were right next to the runway, with the windows closed, there was absolutely no aircraft noise. Even light sleepers can enjoy a peaceful night's rest. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, complemented by a selection of pillows. A large bathtub and a full set of quality toiletries were provided, perfect for a hot bath after a long journey to wash away all fatigue. The entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in the corners, ensuring a sense of comfort and peace of mind. The hotel amenities are excellent. There's a 24-hour fitness center and a heated swimming pool available all day, allowing for some relaxation between travels. The buffet breakfast is served promptly at 6 AM, offering a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including noodles, hot dishes, desserts, and fruits. If you're in a hurry, you can even pack a portable meal. The lobby is equipped with self-check-in kiosks and real-time flight display screens, and guests receive a fast-track security voucher upon check-in, saving the hassle of long queues at the airport. Business travel efficiency is maximized here. The entire staff provided warm and attentive service. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the concierge proactively helped with luggage. Any issues were addressed promptly, and everyone was enthusiastic and polite. Whether it's for a short layover or a family stay, this hotel balances convenience, comfort, and thoughtful service. Both the facilities and services are top-notch, offering excellent value for money. The next time I travel through Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, this will still be my first choice. I genuinely recommend it to all travelers."

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"This hotel offers a fantastic experience. First, the positives: The hotel is moderately priced, offering great value for money. It's just a ten-minute walk to the West Lake Music Fountain. Restaurants, shops, snacks, supermarkets, and public transport (bus and subway) are all conveniently located nearby. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, and kids will love the bathtub for soaking, especially with the free bathtub liner and bath salts provided. The room facilities are relatively new, and both seniors and children were very satisfied. The soundproofing is also quite good. The breakfast selection is very rich, and from a window seat in the 17th-floor restaurant, you can enjoy a distant view of West Lake. The service attitude is warm and thoughtful; when we arrived, it was raining, and a staff member rushed out to guide us on where to park our car. Now for the minor drawbacks: The hotel lobby isn't particularly grand and lacks comfortable sofa seating areas for waiting."

Hotel near West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area,Hangzhou
Zhejiang Xizi Hotel. Wangzhuang is located at the foot of the "Thunder Peak Sunset" mountain, one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake" in Hangzhou. To the east is the lake, to the south is the famous ancient temple Jingci, and across the lake are famous scenic spots such as "Su Di", "San Tan Yin Yue", and "Liu Lang Wen Ying". You can also overlook the north-south peaks, Baochu Pagoda, and other scenic spots, providing a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. The hotel has convenient transportation and can be reached by multiple public buses (K4, K504). Located under the Lei Feng Pagoda, the Wang Family's Old Garden is a treasure trove of feng shui with a profound history and culture. From the imperial gardens of the Southern Song Dynasty - Pingshan Garden and Cuifang Garden, the famous Qianlong Imperial Garden - Yi Garden, to the Xinhai Revolution Memorial Site - Baiyun An, it embodies a long history and is a representation of profound culture. When Wang Zixin built Wang Zhuang, there were still three historical scenic spots left in the village: the imperial fishing platform used by Emperor Qianlong during his southern tour of West Lake, which used to hold a pole and fish in the pond; Baiyun Nunnery, once the secret stronghold for revolutionaries of the Restoration Society and the Chinese Revolutionary League to overthrow the Qing Dynasty's grand plan, and the Temple for the Elderly under the Moon, which once presided over numerous marriage events for young men and women in Hangzhou, added several rare royal styles, revolutionary flavor, heroic spirit and mysterious flavor to Wang Zhuang.Zhejiang Xizi Hotel. Wangzhuang has received heads of state and has carefully designed various guest rooms. The hotel also has 9 restaurants of various types, offering delicious cuisine amidst the picturesque scenery of lakes and mountains. You can enjoy leisure and leisure. A pot of fragrant tea, two or three intimate friends, filters out urban life for you, staying away from the hustle and bustle of the world, and enjoying a leisurely life.

"I highly recommend Zhejiang Xizi Hotel for tourists to West Lake. A one- or two-night stay is ideal—especially if you're traveling with older family members. This hotel will be a smart choice. The hotel operator is local, but because it regularly hosts state-level events and government delegations, you'll find the bilingual service acceptable. The biggest perk is that you can enjoy an uninterrupted 1.5-kilometer stretch of West Lake all to the hotel guests, without battling the crowds. If you plan ahead, be sure to reserve the hotel's private boat for a relaxing one-hour tour around the lake—it accommodates up to 20 people and is comfortable. The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves delicious local dishes, and many Hangzhou residents come here just for the food. One thing to keep in mind: on weekends, outside vehicles and taxis are restricted from entering the area, so a short stay works best if you don't plan to venture out much."
