RedaideyuOur trip was perfect. Although it was our first time at Xihu Resort, the entire stay was incredibly comfortable. Now we have a clear idea of what we look for in a hotel: comfort is paramount. For vacations, we prefer resort-style hotels with spacious rooms, a garden, complete basic facilities, and architecture that harmonizes with the local customs, both inside and out. Secondly, the hotel's 'software' is excellent – the staff are friendly, polite, attentive, and proactive. They greet guests, offer directions, help with luggage, and open doors without being asked, so you don't have to worry about basic services at all. A rich breakfast is also a key consideration for us; at resort hotels, we usually dine in and then can return to the room to relax before heading out again. My husband and I travel as a couple; it's a family trip but not with children. To be honest, we avoid parent-child hotels because we fear they might be too noisy. So, I'd suggest Ctrip separate 'family' and 'parent-child' as distinct statistical categories. These are two different types of travelers.

Anonymous UserThe breakfast was pathetic. The hot spring bath was basically a communal bathhouse. The pool was terrible, easy to get hurt and bleed. Swimsuits bought on site were ten times the price of those outside.
If you want to participate in activities, you have to follow the hotel's schedule, you can't just use a car whenever you want, which was very inconvenient.
Other than golf, there was nothing else to do nearby. The cycling scenery was just mediocre, and the mountain view from the scripture copying area was also just okay. There were no places to wander around. Besides the golf course, which you couldn't even enter freely.
Although the service at the Western restaurant for dinner was good, the ingredients were just average. The food at the Chinese restaurant for lunch and dinner wasn't very tasty, and the prices were high.
I wouldn't want to come again.

Guest UserThe location is great, not affected by holiday or weekend traffic restrictions. Plus, the hotel provides registered shuttle services, though they can be a bit scarce. We were told we could book one last minute, but since we were checking out early for convenience, they wouldn't respond to requests after checkout, which was a bit sad.
The environment is lovely, right in the heart of West Lake, next to 'Orioles Singing in the Willows,' surrounded by lush greenery.
The restaurant is also quite convenient. The food's value for money is just okay, but the service is good, and they do charge a service fee. It's convenient if you're traveling with kids, and the West Lake Fish in Vinegar Gravy was pretty good.
The kids' club isn't large, but it's not crowded, and younger children really enjoy it. The only downside is that it closes too early.
Oh, and there's no swimming pool, which is a bit disappointing.
I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to West Lake.

eric_zliThis hotel is located far from the city center, nestled amidst mountains and water, offering a fantastic environment. It's much more suitable for a vacation than hotels in the central lake area. The hotel facilities are exceptionally well-maintained; you truly understand the value for money once you stay here. Our butler, Felix, provided excellent service. The weather wasn't ideal this time, as we caught an 'autumn tiger' heatwave, making it hot and stuffy with no refreshing autumn breeze. I'll definitely plan to visit again in October next time for a more comfortable experience.

Anonymous UserWent to Qiandao Lake with a friend. The pre-sale price on Trip.com was actually better than on the app.
The hotel environment is excellent, no complaints there. Although the hotel is a bit older, the decor still looks great and isn't outdated at all, even by today's standards. The view from the selected lake-view room was also nice. The only downside is that the island across is quite close, so perhaps the depth of field isn't ideal. However, the service facilities in all other aspects were perfect. For this price, I really can't find anything to complain about. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews 😂. This trip was hosted by Anna Dai, and the overall service was superb.
Breakfast was just average; felt like there weren't many options. As a membership member, I received a complimentary preserved vegetable pastry, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very good experience.

7ust## Thousand Islands Lake: The ultimate staycation choice!
Voco is truly an excellent choice, a hotel under the InterContinental umbrella, so the quality is superb.
Getting to the hotel is very convenient. It's about a 25-minute taxi ride from the high-speed train station. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle bus from the high-speed train station (¥15/person) to a nearby intersection and then a connecting shuttle to the lobby.
The hotel is surrounded by lake views. Rooms with balconies offer clear and beautiful scenery. (Personally, I feel that the views from the 3rd and 4th floors are better than the 1st and 2nd floors).
The hotel service deserves a perfect score. The day before check-in, I received a call, and a staff member added me on WeChat. A special thank you to Selena! She introduced the hotel and provided travel tips. Any questions I had were answered very quickly! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering the food.
Regarding the food, I only tried breakfast, and the variety was incredibly rich. From classic Western fried eggs and bacon to Chinese congee and soup dumplings, there was everything imaginable, satisfying all taste preferences.
I'd also like to mention that the gym equipment is of good quality! It's more comprehensive than many other hotels.

ZhaocaimaoSjcWe stayed here during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and it was indeed quite crowded.
However, I highly recommend this hotel for families with children under 7, it's very suitable. The swimming pool also has a dedicated splash area for toddlers, and the kids' play area is perfect for preschoolers, with all the heights just right. The parent-child DIY activities are also geared towards very young children. Moms can participate in sports while their kids are being looked after. Today, I tried aerial yoga, and Coach Maggie was very patient and taught really well. It was a fantastic experience. I strongly recommend it to anyone with good core strength – it's a lot of fun.
The tea garden is not within the hotel grounds, so we didn't get to cycle 🚲. If you want to visit, you have to walk about 1 km. Finally, I have to complain about the buffet restaurant. The food selection was really sparse. There were already very few dishes, and if you went late, you had to wait for them to cook each one individually, which was a bit frustrating. The noodles at the dinner buffet were mushy. But it was still better than the buffet restaurant in Anji, haha.

MARYSaaweetFirm bed, big spacious room with no lingering smell of cigarette despite smoking is allowed in certain rooms. Received a complimentary breakfast from front desk staff Alex, very nice of him. Breakfast is good, offering mostly local food and a few western pastries but if I have to pay, I would rather eat out for more authentic experience. The washing machine in room is definitely helpful amenity so I don’t have to queue at the laundry room to sort out washing and drying. However, the washing machine is very noisy so staff should let guests know best to wash during the day or before they head out and not at night like we did as we have to paused the drying as the loud noise is preventing sleep. They can improve the staffing during day time because I arrived around 1pm, no one helped with luggage, the door was very heavy so it’s one thing to manage luggage up the curb side and it’s another to drag the luggage through the heavy door and then I realised there was only 1 staff working at that hour, and he was overwhelmed with requests left and right from guests, calls to delivery service so staffing need to be adequate during day time as through the day there will be a lot of guests interactions and having staff to respond timely improves experience and impression of hotel. Overall a good stay

Guest UserThe overall experience exceeded my expectations! The hotel was very clean, the room was neat and tidy, and the details were handled beautifully, making for a very comfortable stay. The accompanying special activities were a delightful surprise, rich in content, interesting, and very engaging. The most memorable was the sound healing experience; the soothing sounds slowly unfolded, and I unknowingly relaxed and drifted off to sleep, letting go of all my fatigue. It was a healing and relaxing short getaway, perfect for those looking to unwind and destress. Definitely worth another visit!

Guest UserShunping provided excellent service, arranging everything perfectly. My stay was very pleasant, and I'd especially like to thank the Guest Services Ambassador, who was warm and thoughtful, responded promptly to requests, and handled issues patiently and meticulously with professional and attentive service. The hotel's location is excellent, close to West Lake, making it convenient to go anywhere. Being right by West Lake means you can avoid the crowds and visit early in the morning. Wulin Night Market is also nearby, great for budget-friendly dining. Intime Department Store is within walking distance, so high-end shopping is right at your fingertips. The location is truly convenient.
