"Right next to a popular local market, and across from KFC, Nan Xiaozhu, and Grandma's Kitchen. The place is clean with no strange smells, and well-equipped. The front desk even has a fridge. My room had great natural light. The simple breakfast, including freshly cooked rice noodles, is served on the 8th floor in an open area with a lovely river view. Hot water in the room was consistently good, and the concierge group chat provided very prompt service. Excellent value for money!"

"The biggest surprise of my trip to Kunming on March 3rd was this accommodation! The front desk staff provided exceptional service; they'd pick us up and drop us off at the hotel whenever we notified them in advance. We received welcome fruits upon entering the room, and breakfast offered a great variety including Chinese, Western, and kids' options, all generously portioned and well-balanced! You can really feel they put a lot of effort into running this place. Breakfast was unexpectedly delicious, and kids' breakfasts were complimentary. They even offer laundry and drying services, which I loved! There's always coffee available at the front desk on the first floor. During our stay, I also borrowed plates, nail clippers, and an iron – they were always happy to help. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, with a fresh and modern style. It's truly great value for money, and traveling with kids, finding a hotel like this made for an excellent experience! This is genuinely one of the most satisfying hotel stays I've had in years!"

"I arrived at the B&B around 12:10 AM, and the housekeeper was already waiting at the entrance to greet me, helped with my luggage, and even offered a freshly brewed cup of tea during check-in, which was a very thoughtful touch. The next morning, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the restaurant was. The breakfast was plentiful, and I even got to try the dumplings made by the owner themselves. My son especially loved the steamed eggs. The housekeeper also provided a very detailed travel guide, recommending local eateries and giving tips on how to save time and effort exploring the area – truly exceptional service. The decor style was tasteful, the facilities were new, and the hygiene was impeccable. The service was absolutely [strong]. The B&B is just across the street from Dianchi Lake, so it was lovely to stroll around and enjoy the breeze after lunch. I usually don't sleep very well, but curiously, my sleep quality significantly improved during this stay. All in all, it's incredibly good value for money. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and will be back here next time."

"From the moment Jin Bo picked us up at Kunming airport till he dropped us off at Kunmingnan Railway station was simply an exceptional and unforgettable experience staying at this hotel. The F.O. manager, Ms. Zhang Bixian and her team, were phenomenal. I also wanted to mention Ms. Zhu Ya, from the Front Office, who escorted and waited for us to leave the hotel. They all have shown us the true meaning of hospitality. They really took care of you and made you feel at ease during your stay. We booked a suite and got upgraded to a bigger one, thank you😊👍. The soundproof works well. Daily fruits and milk are another excellent touch from the hotel. Everything was top-notch and you wanted to stay longer! Yes, we did think about it 😉. Overall, it's the best hotel we've stayed during our China trip this time. I highly recommend Haitian Hotel to everyone!!!"

"I stumbled upon the Grand Carnival Dimet Hyatt Hotel during a business trip, and it has immediately become my top choice for accommodation whenever I'm in Kunming! "We came here specifically to see the seagulls in Dianchi Lake, so we chose this hotel which is only 2 minutes away from Haigeng Dam. The hotel is in an alley and it is hard to find. The beautiful girl at the front desk came out to pick us up. There is a large clump of bougainvillea climbing the wall in the alley, which is very beautiful. Take photos and make them out! Across the road from the alley is Haigeng Dam, the best spot to watch the seagulls. Dianchi Lake is beautiful, and the seagulls are very beautiful and smart. They keep circling over Dianchi Lake to be fed by tourists. The scene is spectacular and the photos are beautiful! The hotel is clean and tidy, the beautiful girl at the front desk provides warm service, the boss is very generous, unlimited mineral water is available every day, there are many snack bars around the hotel, and it is also very convenient to travel"
