GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with every aspect. The location near Dianchi Lake makes it very convenient to visit nearby attractions. Wangfujing Outlets is right downstairs, perfect for shopping and dining. It's only a 5-6 minute drive to Fubao Village. The hotel's interior design is very tasteful, and every corner is beautiful. There's also a communal tea room. The meals included in the room rate are of high quality. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The complimentary travel photography was also a great experience. All in all, it was perfect, and I will definitely stay here again.

MMarc1The hotel is beautifully located by a serene, quiet lake, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing stay. It is particularly popular among families with children, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The breakfast is fantastic, especially if you go early in the morning when the food is freshly prepared. However, later in the day, the selection may not be as fresh.
While the staff does not speak English, navigating your stay is still manageable with some basic Chinese and the help of Google Translate—just as it is in many parts of China.
I highly recommend booking a room with a spa on the balcony. These rooms are located on the second floor, offering greater privacy and more outdoor space. The spa feature itself can be a bit tricky to use—you need to ensure the water level is just right, as too much or too little will prevent it from working properly.
Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the staff is accommodating and responsive to any requests. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent amenities, this is a great choice.

I had a great staycation there with the perfect services provided by the hotel staffs, despite of minor defects on the amenities in the room. The à la carte dishes at 'A Cloud' restaurant are delicious – I highly recommend it to everyone! We'll definitely be back for future short breaks. This time, we booked the family suite with two bedrooms, and it was fantastic. It's truly the best value-for-money family room we've ever stayed in.

SScriusIf you're traveling with kids, this is the place to be! They'll be so engrossed, you won't hear a peep from them. The garden and children's playground are absolutely fantastic. Seeing the kids happy is what matters most. Plus, the hotel is close to Dianchi Lake, just a 10-minute taxi ride away. You can go see the seagulls and take a stroll. It's pure bliss!

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-maintained, and the rooms are spotless. The bedding is thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable; I slept like a baby and woke up refreshed. 👍🏻 The shower has excellent water pressure and a consistent temperature, perfect for washing away the day's fatigue. Definitely deserves 5⭐! The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 5-minute drive to the Second Ring Road elevated highway, offering easy access everywhere. Wanda Plaza is right downstairs with a diverse range of restaurants; you can find just about any Yunnan cuisine you can imagine there. The hotel offers fantastic value for money, and the service is warm and attentive. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit! 🌹

DDiana AldereiWe recently stayed at this hotel with my husband and had quite a mixed experience – some parts were truly lovely, while others left us a bit disappointed.
First of all, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly spacious. The natural hot spring water was one of the highlights of our stay — such a relaxing and unique experience. The surrounding territory is also well-maintained and very peaceful, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature.
However, it’s important to note that the location is quite remote — it took us around an hour to get to places where we could eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. This is understandable considering the mountain setting and access to hot springs.
The afternoon tea was decent, and although lunch wasn’t included in our stay, we tried the local mixian noodles and they were absolutely delicious! Must try! Unfortunately, breakfast was disappointing, especially for guests like us who don’t eat pork or pork oil - there were very few options.
A few maintenance and cleanliness issues also affected our stay. The outdoor pool was not super clean, some insects were swimming there. While we really loved the hot spring bathtub in the villa, the facilities could use a bit more upkeep. The toilet setup was quite basic — a minimum upgrade like a bidet spray or shower toilet would make a big difference, especially for international or Muslim guests.
A more distressing part of our stay was that we found dead insects under the blanket in our bed after returning to our room one evening 🥲 I do appreciate the staff’s polite and kind response – they offered tea and explained it may have fallen from the ceiling – but for someone with a strong phobia of insects, this made it difficult to sleep and really affected my comfort. I do believe this is something that should be taken more seriously, especially in a hotel of this level.
Despite these issues, the staff was very polite, cute and extremely helpful & friendly, and I can see the potential for a truly magical experience here with just a few improvements. I really wanted to love everything — and part of me did — but I was also happy to go back home, just to feel more comfortable and relaxed.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

GGuest UserThe room decor is really well done, making excellent use of the limited space – it even gave me some ideas for home organization! For environmental reasons, the room provides a water purifier for direct drinking water, and regular bottled mineral water is also available, catering to different preferences.
Since Jen shares its gym, pool, and bar facilities with Shangri-La, these amenities are far superior to what you'd typically find at a Jen hotel. If these aspects are important to you, then Jen offers great value for money in that sense.

FFengzheng——zzxI was a bit worried after reading some reviews before checking in, but after actually staying, I found that the hotel has been making improvements. Xiao Luo mentioned they've added weatherstripping, replaced mattresses, and so on. My stay was quite comfortable and satisfying. I believe it will only get better, especially with such a great location. I'm actually looking forward to seeing what other changes they'll make next time!
