Location is a big plus here — right next to the convention center, a shopping mall with tons of dining and shopping options, and DiDaDi outdoor theme park is literally just outside the hotel. The kids loved it and kept themselves busy the whole time. Rooms were great and the outdoor bathtub was a nice bonus. We had a minor hiccup with the AC going out overnight, but the manager was super responsive and got us moved to a new room without any hassle since the technician wasn’t around over the weekend. Really appreciated that. Free breakfast and supper are both included, and honestly both were really good — plenty of variety and everything tasted great. Oh, and don’t sleep on the hotel’s rooftop photo shoot. The views up there are stunning and it’s a proper must-do during your stay. All in all, a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Hygiene: The room was quite clean. Facilities: The room facilities were complete and well-maintained. Environment: Excellent. It's located in a park converted from a rubber factory, with many coffee shops and bars, creating a great atmosphere. Service: The front desk and concierge were very friendly.

While the hotel room facilities are a bit dated, with old carpets and a slightly cramped bathroom with only one sink, the strong water pressure made for a comfortable shower. The air conditioning was just okay, and the soundproofing was decent. As an older five-star hotel, Wanda Vista truly shines in its service. Front desk manager Mr./Ms. Yang was kind and friendly, helping us arrange an extended stay and providing excellent advice and assistance with our Yunnan travel plans. The front desk is often a guest's first impression, and we're very grateful to Mr./Ms. Yang for starting our stay off so well. The restaurant's breakfast offered a good variety, and the taste was acceptable. The breakfast staff were incredibly sincere and service-oriented in their greetings and assistance. I even noticed one or two pregnant staff members in the breakfast area who were still meticulously and efficiently going about their work. The executive lounge didn't have a huge selection of dishes, but everything was fresh and replenished promptly. The housekeeping staff were also very friendly, and the room was kept clean. The hotel's location is super convenient. Overall, it's definitely worth another stay.

Absolutely fantastic, an amazing experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming. The view is absolutely incredible. This room is super spacious, like something out of a painting. Just look at that view! Although it's an older hotel, this room is truly exceptional value. Everything is so proper and well-organized. As soon as I got out of the car, someone took my luggage, and the service was so attentive. They even gave us a souvenir when we left. Just got off the plane and had to leave a review right away!

She proactively helped coordinate a room upgrade, and upon learning about my travel needs, she offered an additional breakfast and executive lounge access. She arranged a smoke-free, high-floor room overlooking Dianchi Lake for a better view, and her meticulous arrangements truly eased my travel fatigue. Heidi's demeanor was gentle and graceful, and she handled matters with patience and professionalism. Every request was addressed thoroughly; her professionalism and sincerity shone through in every small detail. As a Sofitel in Kunming, the hotel perfectly blends French elegance with local Yunnan charm. The lobby features Yunnan-specific floral art and ethnic soft furnishings, creating a unique romantic and luxurious design. The guest rooms offer a comfortable and relaxing stay, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the lake and mountains of Dianchi. The executive lounge boasts excellent views, and the snacks and drinks are exquisite and high-quality. Breakfast combines French pastries with authentic Yunnan rice noodles and flower cakes, offering a wide variety and delicious flavors. Both the hardware and service are truly worth savoring. Walking around the hotel, one can glimpse the brand's unique French romance everywhere, complemented by the spiritual lake views unique to the 'Spring City.' Both the facilities and services exude style and warmth. Whether gazing at the misty Dianchi Lake from the window or enjoying a drink in the executive lounge, you can feel Sofitel's exclusive aesthetic of sophisticated travel. Heidi's meticulous and thoughtful service perfectly balanced the rush of travel, adding a human touch to a luxurious stay. The entire stay was leisurely and pleasant, precisely because of Heidi's attentive and personalized care, which made this stay full of surprises and warmth. When I return to this area in the future, this hotel will still be my first choice, and I once again express my gratitude to the gentle and dedicated Heidi.

This is my third visit this year, and I absolutely love this hotel, even though it's only 30 kilometers from my home. My favorite part is the large balcony, which offers a delightful view of the lake and lush green mountains, with high skies and drifting clouds – it's incredibly peaceful. The evenings are very quiet. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic.

On our graduation trip to Yunnan with the kids, Kunming was our first stop, and we were so glad we chose the Green Lake Hotel. The doormen and room service staff were all incredibly helpful, promptly addressing any issues we had. The bedding was also very clean. This established star-rated hotel really lived up to its reputation. The location is also excellent, right by Green Lake, with many restaurants nearby. We tried three, and all were delicious. After dinner, a stroll around Green Lake to digest was truly pleasant. The Military Academy, Yunnan University, and Zhibu Shudian Bookstore are all nearby. The former site of the Southwest Associated University and Kunming Botanical Garden are just a little over ten yuan by taxi, making getting around super convenient, 💯. And the osmanthus flowers outside the hotel smell so fragrant, 🥰

It's rare to find a hotel that truly feels like a home away from home, but Bolian Hot Spring Resort certainly does! First, let's talk about the service. We stayed during the off-season, so there weren't many staff around, but you could still feel the warmth and professionalism from everyone, from our butler Dashi to the restaurant, hot springs, and front desk staff. The front desk staff even multi-tasked, making us tea and driving us to our room. Their professional training was evident throughout our stay. Even though the hotel has been open for twenty years, it doesn't feel old or dated at all. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, and the hot springs are fantastic. The courtyard in our room was breathtakingly beautiful. To our pleasant surprise, the restaurant's food was delicious, with excellent Yunnan cuisine. We will definitely be back again. The hotel also provided complimentary executive car airport transfers and vouchers that could be used for dining or spa services at the hotel, which was a very nice touch.

The hotel's location is fantastic! There's a wide variety of local snacks nearby, like small-pot rice noodles, milk fans, and flower cakes – you can enjoy all sorts of Yunnanese flavors anytime. The rooms are spacious and airy, the environment is comfortable, and it's a one-stop shop for everything from food to fun. Lori at the front desk even knows her food – she recommended several must-try dishes when we checked in, and we loved them all!

Facilities: The hotel is very new, and getting it for around 600 during the peak summer holiday season is incredible value for money! It shares a gym, pool, and Chinese restaurant with the Shangri-La next door, which costs 2500. Service: There's a doorman to open doors and help with luggage, truly a five-star setup. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in Kunming.
