GGuest UserI forgot to take photos during my last stay, so the pictures are of the room type from this visit. There are some differences, but you can still get an idea.
**Amenities:** Very complete. It has everything a standard hotel should have. There aren't any toilet seat covers, so you'll need to bring your own. The bath towels are hotel-provided, and all the toiletries are there.
**Cleanliness:** Everything looked quite clean. The bedding felt freshly washed and had a faint scent of disinfectant.
**Environment:** It's a little bit away from the airport and the main road, so it's relatively quiet. With the window open, you can hear some planes taking off, but it's not very noticeable with the window closed, so you can definitely get a good night's sleep.
**Service:** They offer airport shuttle service from 4:30 AM to 2 PM, with a bus every half hour. If you need a ride to the airport in the morning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. They'll even call you half an hour before to wake you up. The front desk staff (both the young men and women) were all super patient.
**Overall:** After looking at so many places, this one was the most satisfying. The price isn't expensive either, and the overall value for money is excellent. That's why I chose this place for both my outbound and return trips. I'll likely choose it again for future visits.

The only downside is that the hotel is a bit old, but everything else is fine. The soundproofing could be better, as it's a renovated old building. If you don't mind that, it's a good choice. I actually slept really well the first night. The room is a bit small but has everything you need. The bed was just right â not too soft, not too hard â and I slept very soundly. They also have hot water available for direct drinking, which is a nice touch. The hotel even gave us a small gift before we left. Oh, and the hotel breakfast really wasn't good. Maybe I've just been spoiled by the amazing breakfasts at other hotels in Xishuangbanna! đ¤Ł

AAnonymous UserI stayed in Kunming for three nights and tried three different hotels. The first two, also near Tangzixiang and Dongfeng Square (basically close to a metro station convenient for the airport), either had terrible soundproofing or tiny rooms. All three were pretty much the same price, but this one actually deserves a good review. First off, the location is fantastic. Right across the street is Dongfeng Alley, full of great food. Next to the Yishengxiang Braised Noodles is a fruit stand where all the locals shop. They restock around 9 AM, so before my flight, I grabbed a basket of large blueberries for 52 RMB. When I got home and emptied them out, only two were bad; the rest were plump and fragrant. I wish I'd bought more! This hotel does have a couple of issues: first, the bed is too hard, the pillows aren't great, and the linens are subpar. Second, the elevator is small and slow. Luckily, I was on the third floor with minimal luggage, so I just took the stairs. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was super sweet and provided excellent service!

ď˝ď˝-âŚWhat truly impressed me about my stay at Pinstone Wohyun was its incredibly warm and personalized service. Upon check-in, the front desk offered me a warm cup of tea, which instantly washed away my travel fatigue. Seeing my numerous bags, they even proactively helped carry them up to my room. Traveling with a child, I was pleasantly surprised to find kids' slippers and small toys thoughtfully prepared in the room beforehand.
Even late at night, the staff's soft greetings when I returned to the hotel, and the very helpful dryer in the laundry room â these genuine details made me feel incredibly cozy and cared for.
What's even better is the hotel's location. Just a few hundred meters' walk takes you to Jinma Biji Archway and Nanping Walking Street, surrounded by authentic Yunnan delicacies and bustling commercial areas. Yet, magically, the moment you step through the antique-style courtyard gate, the outside hustle and bustle seem to vanish. This convenience of 'active outside, peaceful inside,' perfectly combined with their attentive service, truly made me feel right at home!

GGuest UserEverything else was great, and they really do offer 24/7 airport pick-up/drop-off. The environment is also lovely, with a detached American-style house feel. The only downside is the significant amount of various noises. Specifically, the air conditioning in my bedroom made a loud noise whenever it was on, and it got very cold at night if it was off. Although there was an AC unit in the living room, I used it, but it didn't seem to do much. Additionally, the traffic noise from the road at night was quite loud, possibly because my room was close to the street. When you stay, you might want to ask the front desk for a room not too close to the road. Also, regarding the curtains, remember to close all the windows, otherwise, the sound of the wind blowing them around can be very noisy. However, even after closing all the windows, I still heard this kind of noise, which seemed to be coming from other rooms... So, that's about it. I hope this helps everyone!

HHaohuayoulunThe first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak inćĽč 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
