JJason938My first experience at an Atour Group hotel, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The bedding and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly until morning, which really helped relieve the fatigue from the past ten days!
The hotel is located on Beijing Road, just 100m from the subway station and very close to Kunming Station. We even walked to Nanping Street, which was only 1km away – a comfortable stroll in the cool breeze.
The front desk staff were lovely and charming, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. They even offered free late-night snacks. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options, and most importantly, it tasted great.
After experiencing Atour's comfort, there's no going back. I'll definitely be booking with Atour Group hotels again next time!

TThenayzerStaying at Ji Hotel Kunming Airport was an excellent decision. Instead of spending the night waiting uncomfortably in the airport during an overnight transit, we were able to get proper rest. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a deep and restful sleep.
The room size is adequate, especially considering the hotel is located within the airport. The location is extremely convenient—simply take the elevator to the second floor after exiting the arrival hall. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary snacks and fresh fruit served with a tea set, which made the stay feel especially welcoming.
Although the staff do not speak English, they are very kind, polite, and helpful, which greatly enhanced the overall experience.

GGuest UserThis stay was a super pleasant surprise, definitely a full five-star review! The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The owner who checked me in was incredibly thoughtful, always smiling and super efficient. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding that was incredibly relaxing to lie on. The wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very well separated, and the toiletries were complete and high-quality. There was plenty of hot water, making for a wonderfully comfortable shower. The room had good natural light and ventilation, and an open view, with no strange smells. You can really see the hotel's attention to detail. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely choose this place again. Highly recommend it to everyone!

QQiuyutianxiangThis hotel in Kunming's old town was a real gem! Step out, and you're right in the heart of authentic local life; step back in, and your room is surprisingly quiet, not a sound. The rooms have that charming, old-world house style, but they're spotlessly clean—I felt comfortable walking barefoot. Everything you need is there: powerful air conditioning and even a direct drinking water dispenser. The biggest surprise was the washing machine and dryer, plus a rooftop area for drying clothes – so convenient! The front desk lady was incredibly nice; she upgraded our room for free as soon as we arrived. When we couldn't figure out the TV, she even came up to help us set it up, so patient. And the breakfast? Absolutely fantastic! Authentic rice noodles, fresh fruit, all sorts of pastries… waking up to that breakfast every day was a treat. We were so comfortable that we promptly extended our stay for another night. I genuinely recommend this to anyone visiting Kunming!

MM582641****The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right next to a shopping district and a metro station, making it incredibly convenient for both shopping and getting around. The sunset at the wetland park nearby was also beautiful. The hotel's coffee bar has a wonderful atmosphere, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. All the staff members are very polite and proactively greet you, which made the experience perfect. Highly recommend!

MM246075****The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's just a 10-minute walk to Kunming Old Street. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, bright, and very clean. The breakfast was also good. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They even provided a helpful guide to local restaurants, shops, and attractions, which saved us a lot of hassle. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Kunming!

GGuest UserWonderful place to stay, I love the vibe and energy of the hostel itself. I did not stay enough to enjoy to lovely activities and community but I absolutely reccommend this place. I stayed in 8 women room and I appreciated the cleanliness of the bed, bedsheet, locker etc. That is very important as it is the only space just for you. Bathroom was ok, I did not know it is mixed but I did not have any problem - and it was also clean. I like the option of the restaurant and free tea at the reception. Location is also great! Kunming is lovely and artsy town🫶

GGuest UserAs soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you will feel that it is very classy and the decoration is very exquisite. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic, patient and willing to help. The room is clean and tidy, comfortable and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete and well maintained, there is a laundry room and various fitness equipment, which is very convenient for me who is on business trips all year round. I really feel the hotel's meticulous management and thoughtful service. The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the parking is free, the breakfast variety is also very rich, and the overall value for money is excellent. It is a very satisfactory experience.

- within 5-8 mins walk to ErJi subway station (Line1),
which is just 6 stops from Kunming Railway Station.
- hotel occupies the top few floors of an office tower building which is part of the Dadu Motian office-cum-shopping mall. Ie. I could leave my room, head downstairs, walk into the mall, take the elevator up to the cinema on the 6th floor of the mall, and be seated and watching a movie in the cinema within 5 mins (provided you don't get lost inside the mall searching for the cinema, as happened to me during my first few times roaming inside the mall).
- a 24hr food street, popular with the locals, is a short 3 mins walk from the mall.
- The HUGE GR Shopping Mall complex is also within 15 walks distance.
Room was advertised as ”without air-conditioning”... yet I booked it, as I was curious and wanted to experience the effect of Kunming's reputed ”Perpetual Spring” climate in a room without aircon.
Room is spacious and has everything expected, except: I can't get any live CCTV news. .. apparently only prerecorded cable news from CCTV2, 3, 5, 6 & 7. Totally NO CCTV1 news, even pre-recorded ones!
The elevator reach upto level 15, and my room is located on level 16 (where morning breakfast is served), so I need to climb up/down one level via the staircase.
The included breakfast is very typical, local Chinese noodle plus various condiments ... and is only available between 7-9 am.
As my departure flight is late at night, I was able to do late checkout for a few hours at ¥20 per hour. 👍🙂
