JJason938My first experience at an Atour Group hotel, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The bedding and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly until morning, which really helped relieve the fatigue from the past ten days!
The hotel is located on Beijing Road, just 100m from the subway station and very close to Kunming Station. We even walked to Nanping Street, which was only 1km away – a comfortable stroll in the cool breeze.
The front desk staff were lovely and charming, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. They even offered free late-night snacks. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options, and most importantly, it tasted great.
After experiencing Atour's comfort, there's no going back. I'll definitely be booking with Atour Group hotels again next time!

TThenayzerStaying at Ji Hotel Kunming Airport was an excellent decision. Instead of spending the night waiting uncomfortably in the airport during an overnight transit, we were able to get proper rest. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a deep and restful sleep.
The room size is adequate, especially considering the hotel is located within the airport. The location is extremely convenient—simply take the elevator to the second floor after exiting the arrival hall. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary snacks and fresh fruit served with a tea set, which made the stay feel especially welcoming.
Although the staff do not speak English, they are very kind, polite, and helpful, which greatly enhanced the overall experience.

While it lacks complex smart devices, the back-to-basics quality of the accommodation perfectly matched the relaxed vibe I was looking for on my trip. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warmth made me feel incredibly welcome. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and they proactively informed me about nearby breakfast spots and bus stops, even kindly reminding me about Yunnan's weather changes. These thoughtful details instantly made me feel at ease.
The guest room, though simple, was fully equipped and spotlessly clean, with absolutely no strange odors. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of travel – even the pillow height was perfect. All the basic amenities in the room were comprehensive: the air conditioning worked wonderfully for both cooling and heating, hot water was consistently available at a comfortable temperature, and the vanity counter was spacious with a bright, clear mirror, making daily washing up completely uncrowded. The walls were unadorned, yet a small succulent added a touch of life, and the windows sealed well, blocking out outside noise and making the entire room exceptionally quiet.
Hygiene was absolutely impeccable! The floors were spotless, there wasn't a speck of dust on the table, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was thorough, with the toilet and shower cubicle immaculately clean in every corner. Even the towels and bath towels had a faint, pleasant scent, making for a truly reassuring stay. While it doesn't boast the luxurious amenities of high-end hotels, every detail shows care – the charging outlets by the bed were conveniently located, the lighting was soft and not harsh, and the mini-table even had complimentary bottled water and tea bags, simple yet practical.
The hotel's location is also excellent; it's just a few minutes' walk to a lively commercial street, making dining, living, and transportation incredibly convenient. I only stayed for one day, but I was truly impressed by this simple yet sophisticated accommodation experience. There were no flashy gimmicks, just solid basic services and a clean, comfortable living environment. For travelers seeking value for money and practicality, this hotel is definitely an excellent choice for a trip to Yunnan, and I would prioritize staying here again next time!

The sunset at the wetland park nearby was also beautiful. The hotel's coffee bar has a wonderful atmosphere, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. All the staff members are very polite and proactively greet you, which made the experience perfect. Highly recommend!

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, bright, and very clean. The breakfast was also good. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They even provided a helpful guide to local restaurants, shops, and attractions, which saved us a lot of hassle. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Kunming!

GGuest UserWonderful place to stay, I love the vibe and energy of the hostel itself. I did not stay enough to enjoy to lovely activities and community but I absolutely reccommend this place. I stayed in 8 women room and I appreciated the cleanliness of the bed, bedsheet, locker etc. That is very important as it is the only space just for you. Bathroom was ok, I did not know it is mixed but I did not have any problem - and it was also clean. I like the option of the restaurant and free tea at the reception. Location is also great! Kunming is lovely and artsy town🫶

GGuest UserAs soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you will feel that it is very classy and the decoration is very exquisite. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic, patient and willing to help. The room is clean and tidy, comfortable and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable, the facilities are complete and well maintained, there is a laundry room and various fitness equipment, which is very convenient for me who is on business trips all year round. I really feel the hotel's meticulous management and thoughtful service. The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the parking is free, the breakfast variety is also very rich, and the overall value for money is excellent. It is a very satisfactory experience.

- within 5-8 mins walk to ErJi subway station (Line1),
which is just 6 stops from Kunming Railway Station.
- hotel occupies the top few floors of an office tower building which is part of the Dadu Motian office-cum-shopping mall. Ie. I could leave my room, head downstairs, walk into the mall, take the elevator up to the cinema on the 6th floor of the mall, and be seated and watching a movie in the cinema within 5 mins (provided you don't get lost inside the mall searching for the cinema, as happened to me during my first few times roaming inside the mall).
- a 24hr food street, popular with the locals, is a short 3 mins walk from the mall.
- The HUGE GR Shopping Mall complex is also within 15 walks distance.
Room was advertised as ”without air-conditioning”... yet I booked it, as I was curious and wanted to experience the effect of Kunming's reputed ”Perpetual Spring” climate in a room without aircon.
Room is spacious and has everything expected, except: I can't get any live CCTV news. .. apparently only prerecorded cable news from CCTV2, 3, 5, 6 & 7. Totally NO CCTV1 news, even pre-recorded ones!
The elevator reach upto level 15, and my room is located on level 16 (where morning breakfast is served), so I need to climb up/down one level via the staircase.
The included breakfast is very typical, local Chinese noodle plus various condiments ... and is only available between 7-9 am.
As my departure flight is late at night, I was able to do late checkout for a few hours at ¥20 per hour. 👍🙂
