GGuest UserI had an early morning bullet train to catch the next day, so I looked for a hotel near the station. I saw this one on Ctrip with good reviews and it was newly opened, so I chose it. Early that morning, the front desk called me, added me on WeChat, sent me directions, and even sightseeing tips, which was a really thoughtful touch. When I arrived, they showed me the room first. The room type we booked was right by the elevator. It had all the facilities, but the space was a bit small. It would be fine for one person, but if you're traveling with a child, it's probably better to book a larger room. For just one night, it was perfectly adequate for us.
Being a new hotel, all the facilities were brand new and quite comfortable. The service was excellent too; all the staff would greet us and say hello when they saw us. The breakfast was also quite varied and delicious. Out of the 7 days we traveled, this hotel's breakfast was the most enjoyable.
It's very close to both the subway station and the bullet train station, less than a 10-minute walk, which is incredibly convenient. I would definitely choose this place again on my next visit.

WWeibusiOn this business trip to Kunming, I chose the Hilton Garden Inn. As always, the facilities and service were excellent. There's a large ground-level parking lot behind the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a complimentary beverage area on the first floor for guests. I booked a king-sized room this time, and to my surprise, it was actually a suite with a small living room and a desk outside, and the bedroom inside. I stayed here for 5 days, and it felt very cozy overall. I'll definitely consider Hilton Garden Inn first when I travel to other cities in the future, haha~

Wwinnie oGot an awesome family duplex room. The room is very clean and well-designed with classical touches. Location is great too, just a 5min walk to huge malls with good shopping and dining places.
Most importantly the staff service is next-level. They helped me collect parcels at nearby parcel centre and arranged for all requests which i made.
Truly first-class service. Now I have a reason to return to Kunming City because of Babymoon Hotel 🥰

I really liked the French romantic decor, and it was great value for money. My only suggestion would be for the shower pressure to be a bit stronger. Overall, a great impression of Kunming!

They even have robots that can deliver takeout, which is pretty smart. Environment: Breakfast was very poor. It was served in the underground parking garage, which was a terrible setting. The breakfast items were also very limited and of low quality. However, there are many restaurants nearby, which is convenient, and the Dounan Flower Market is also very close.
Service: The front desk service was very thoughtful and meticulous.

They provide a 24-hour shuttle service and 24-hour check-in, which is very convenient. However, when I checked in late at night, the process was quite slow. Travelers arriving on late flights are often exhausted and want to rest immediately, so standing and waiting for a long time was frustrating.Regarding the room, it was spacious and comfortable. I especially liked that the bathroom was well-designed with a clear separation between the wet and dry areas.

GGuest UserThe rooms are really unique; we booked a Bai-style room that even came with a balcony. The guesthouse also has a lovely little courtyard, which adds to the great atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and enthusiastically recommended a lot of fun places to visit! Highly recommend, we'll definitely be back!!!

Location: The location is excellent, just a five to six-minute walk to Daguan Park, and close to the Dianchi Wetland area, making it very convenient for sightseeing! Parking is also readily available right in front of the hotel.
Facilities and Service: The room was clean, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained, with good soundproofing. The service was fantastic, and all the staff were very polite! The hotel breakfast was good, especially the rice noodles – delicious! Plus, breakfast hours were quite generous.
Surroundings: The view from the window was pleasant, with the Western Hills in the distance and Dianchi Lake nearby!
Summary: Overall, I was very satisfied. It was a great stay and travel experience! If you're looking to visit Dianchi Lake and its surroundings, this hotel is, all things considered, an excellent choice!
