GGuest UserThis hotel is incredibly well-designed, highly recommended for those who love leisurely hotel getaways. The pillows are super comfortable, and the rest of the bedding is excellent. The shower head delivers a gentle, dense spray. Breakfast is served until 1 PM! They also offer complimentary afternoon tea and a late-night snack. While the breakfast selection is slightly smaller than a typical five-star hotel, it's very well-balanced and nutritious. The food is exceptionally fresh. The landscape design is absolutely stunning; every photo you take here will be a masterpiece. The location is very close to Erhai Wetland Park, and the convention center entrance boasts beautiful jacaranda trees, much denser than those found on regular streets. You absolutely MUST visit the observation deck – I can't stress that enough! Finally, they even gave us a small gift when we checked out. I'll definitely consider Pam & Pure again when I come back to Kunming!

GGuest UserA very satisfying hotel experience, mainly for these reasons: Location: The location is excellent, just a five to six-minute walk to Daguan Park, and close to the Dianchi Wetland area, making it very convenient for sightseeing! Parking is also readily available right in front of the hotel. Facilities and Service: The room was clean, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained, with good soundproofing. The service was fantastic, and all the staff were very polite! The hotel breakfast was good, especially the rice noodles – delicious! Plus, breakfast hours were quite generous. Surroundings: The view from the window was pleasant, with the Western Hills in the distance and Dianchi Lake nearby! Summary: Overall, I was very satisfied. It was a great stay and travel experience! If you're looking to visit Dianchi Lake and its surroundings, this hotel is, all things considered, an excellent choice!

YYinyuezouqiThe room layout was stunning, truly reflecting a designer brand's touch. The TV screen was massive, and the two large floor-to-ceiling windows at the corner offered incredibly open views. The amenities provided were also top-notch. What really stood out was the impeccable butler service. They contacted me in advance to ask about my needs, and knowing I was driving, they even sent me the parking location, saving me a lot of hassle. They also gave detailed directions to Dounan Flower Market (it's not far, but you need to follow road regulations, which makes it feel a bit longer). There was one minor issue: even though we were on the 28th floor, the noise from passing cars on the road at night still affected my sleep quality.

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly spacious with amazing views. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful, even allowing us to store our luggage. We also received complimentary welcome fruit, and there's an airport shuttle service. Plus, there's a great local market nearby with lots of delicious food. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm at Kunming Airport.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Kunming Jiangye Resort Hotel, and I had a really good experience. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Daguan Park, which offers free admission, making it super easy to explore. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted good too. Just a small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a few more hooks in the bathroom for hanging clothes and towels, as it was a bit inconvenient without them.

YYappariStoryDian Lake Steigenberger Kunming (5 stars) Our stay at Dian Lake Steigenberger Kunming was truly memorable. All the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, while the housekeeping team was warm and thoughtful. They went the extra mile to decorate our room for my husband's birthday and even sent us a beautiful and delicious birthday cake — a gesture that made our stay feel extra special. The Lake View King Room (45m²) was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and pillows. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the lake — peaceful and perfect for unwinding. When we mentioned that our centrally controlled air-conditioning felt a bit warm, 军军 和 Amy immediately offered us an additional room for free, complete with an individual aircon controller so we could adjust the temperature ourselves. This level of care and flexibility was truly impressive. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants, including KFC, and there’s a 7-Eleven just nearby for added convenience. The lobby is also grand and tastefully decorated, giving a luxurious first impression. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kunming — it offers both comfort and heartfelt hospitality.

GGuest UserThe room is pretty decent and big. There's just a bit of noise as the room I got is next to a room being renovated, but it is only during the daytime. The best thing for me aside from the beautiful view, big room, and big bed is the smart toilet (I specifically check for places with bidet for my stays, and this place got a high-tech one). The hotel and cold water are also great. I appreciate that the toilet, sink, and shower are separate. The staff are all kind and helpful. I got an issue with my DiDi account and need to book one for my scheduled tour, and the staff on duty gladly helped me book one paying for it and said I could just settle the payment later, and even escorted me to the DiDi and let the driver know I don't speak the language and to get me safely to the location. The other staff also helped me with my WeChat, which helped a lot during my whole stay in China. The only con that I can say (if you are specific with location) is that it is not that close with the usual tourist spots like the Kunming Old Street, but it is close to the South Railway station (Kunmingnan). This is not a big con for me as I actually enjoyed the nearby malls and alleys. This is one of the good stuff here as well. It is on top of a mall, and just across the place is also a place to go shopping (for clothes, food, restaurants). There's a big supermarket/department store in the next door mall too. It also gets lively at night. Overall, personally, I find this a great place to stay in Kunming.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and a level of hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — every detail felt carefully thought out, from the cozy bed and soft linens to the perfect lighting and refreshing scent in the room. The amenities were top-notch, and everything worked flawlessly. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. Whether it was helping me with local recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply greeting me with a smile every morning, they made me feel truly valued as a guest. The location is excellent — close to everything I needed, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, with plenty of variety to start the day right. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but this one truly exceeded my expectations in every way. I will absolutely be coming back, and I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting this area.

GGuest UserWe had a great one-night stay. The room was clean and spacious, located in a quiet gated community. We arrived around noon and were warmly welcomed by the owner. At the gate, we showed our booking details to security, then walked a short distance to the unit with our luggage. We enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the in-house chef, and the owner also made us excellent, good quality coffee. The house is very close to Dianchi Lake, just a few steps from the gate. We were able to walk around the lake and even took a cableway across to the Western Hills (Must do). The lake area was also lovely for a nighttime walk. Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We wish we had stayed longer. The owner and staff were very friendly and made our stay even more pleasant.😊
