"Facilities: A bit old, but generally pretty good. The bed is neither too soft nor too hard. The duvet is fine with the AC on, but it can get a bit warm without it, given Kunming's large temperature variations. There's a small garden and an outdoor hot tub, but apparently it's not usable. It's very photogenic though! The living room and bedroom are separate, which is great for families or multiple families staying together as you can chat comfortably. There are also seating areas in the room corridors where you can relax and talk. Being inside the scenic area, the courtyard rooms are quiet. Other room types might be a bit noisier. At midday, it can feel quite bustling outside with traffic and vendors calling out. The courtyard suites, however, are not noisy at all. The location is in the Jinbi area, not far from Nanping Old Street. Just cross a road and walk through Nanping Hui, and you're in a commercial area. For food and drinks, there are snacks right downstairs, though not many main courses. I think the options across the street are better. The hotel breakfast is à la carte and needs to be ordered a day in advance. We tried it one day, but after that, we opted for takeout or ate out. The hotel service is quite good. They have a butler service, and the staff's attitude is very pleasant. When we had a delay, they helped us coordinate a later checkout. For transport, since it's within the scenic area, you'll probably need to walk a bit after getting off the car. However, you can also have your car drive to the parking lot, and there's an elevator near the exit that takes you up."

"Traveling solo in Kunming, my stay at Old Big Foot International Youth Hostel completely exceeded my expectations – it's truly an ideal haven for backpackers! The location is absolutely unbeatable. Just a few steps out the door is Zhuanxin market, where I could get everything from tofu rice noodles and Dai-style snacks to fresh fruit in one go. It's also not far from the subway station, making it super easy to get to all the major attractions around the city. The hostel itself has a courtyard bursting with bougainvillea, and you'll find traveler messages and map check-in walls everywhere. The downstairs bar is perfect for sunbathing during the day, and for listening to music and chatting at night, sometimes with guests playing guitar – it's such a gentle and therapeutic atmosphere. The accommodation details are incredibly thoughtful. Every bed has a full blackout curtain, creating a private little space when drawn. The bedding was clean and odorless, there was 24-hour hot water, and the cleaning staff tidied regularly, so the bathrooms were completely free of any smells. They provide lockable lockers and self-service washer and dryer machines, so no worries about valuables or laundry. The front desk staff were incredibly patient, offering detailed recommendations for local tours and free luggage storage. Their 24-hour presence made me, as a solo female traveler, feel completely safe. It's really easy to meet like-minded travel companions here. There are plenty of activities like billiards, movie nights, and city walks, so you never have to worry about feeling lonely. The prices are affordable, the facilities are comprehensive, and the atmosphere is warm. It's perfect whether you're staying for a short visit or just passing through. I wholeheartedly recommend it to solo travelers who enjoy a lively, authentic vibe!"

"I arrived at the airport late the night before, but the hotel's pick-up service was perfectly arranged. The driver was already waiting, and even proactively helped with my luggage, completely saving me the hassle of finding a taxi in the middle of the night. Upon arrival, front desk staff member #6 was incredibly friendly and polite, and check-in was very efficient. She also thoughtfully informed me of all the important details. After a long and tiring journey, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made me feel so much better, and the room environment was also excellent. The overall service was impeccable, I highly recommend this hotel! It will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Kunming!"

"Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! Downstairs, you'll find a pedestrian street, and the Shuncheng Shopping Center is right there. There are also about half a dozen other malls nearby, making dining and getting drinks incredibly convenient. Service: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were given a high-floor room, and the breakfast was quite good – they even provided a complimentary breakfast for our child. We didn't get a chance to try the late-night congee, but I imagine it would have been good too. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff were very enthusiastic and did a thorough and clean job. There's also a large Miniso and Mixue Ice Cream & Tea downstairs, which are always bustling with people. It's a great spot for families with kids."

"🚗: The hotel offers airport transfer, just book in advance. We had an early 6 AM departure, and the front desk proactively called us around 5:40 AM to remind us. The car was a small van. 🍽️: We didn't have a chance to try the late-night dining, but the hotel is located in town, so we could order takeout and had plenty of food options. 🎁: The room came with disposable face towels, small snacks, an air purifier, and there was even water available for guests in the hallway. Thoughtful touches everywhere. Great value for money. Definitely recommend."

"The room was spacious and new. My flight was delayed, so I arrived at Changshui Airport in the early hours. I contacted the front desk, and they instructed me to collect my luggage, then go to Exit 5 on B2, turn left, walk about 50 meters to the No. 7 police booth, and call them again. Around 10 minutes later, a car came to pick us up. The driver first dropped us off at the T1 branch on the way, then took two other guests to another Park Inn hotel. We quickly checked in and booked a shuttle for 7:25 AM. The staff kindly arranged for us to stay on the first floor, which meant less walking. By the time I got into the room, it was already 2 AM, so I quickly went to sleep. The bedding was very comfortable. I woke up at 6:30 AM and had a refreshing shower. At 7:15 AM, I checked out and went for a walk outside. It's close to the airport but not noisy. Among all the airport hotels I've stayed in, this one was the quietest. Great value for money and excellent service; I'll definitely stay here again."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. Wuyi Road subway station, Old Street are all within walking distance, and if you're up for a stroll, you can leisurely explore Huangongdong Street, Wenlin Road, Cultural Road, and Cuihe. The hotel's lobby and restaurant have a great vibe, and the staff are warm and friendly, always ready to help. They even upgraded us to a room with a terrace! The room facilities are complete, and this was the cleanest hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip – we were so happy! Highly, highly, highly recommend it! 🌹🌹🌹 Plus, they have washing machines and dryers, which is so convenient! 😊"

"It is my first trip to Kunming and I stayed at Four Points Sheraton City Centre. Upon reaching, i was greeted warmly by Grace, and she gave me and my friend our 2 rooms at the same level, this goes to show the detail and care she put into serving the customers. She also arranged fruits to our room. I have nothing but praises for her. Our room is clean and spacious, the amenities were really good and well thought out, we fell in love with the hotel. Location wise, is close to Kunming old street and a modern shopping complex with many shops and eateries. There are many food stores right below the hotel. I met their bell boy Jasper Shen in the lift, he is so humble, polite, helpful and a real fine gentleman who pressed the lifts for me and helped me carry my luggages to my car. It was a joy to see him everyday too."

"This stay was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. It's located in a village, which makes the location a bit off the beaten path, but that's perfectly fine as they offer airport shuttle service. We arrived at Changshui Airport at 2 AM on our first day. After collecting our luggage, we contacted the hotel for pickup. Even though it was raining heavily that night, the hotel was fantastic and was already waiting for us in the parking lot. Since we had to catch a high-speed train to Dali the next day, the hotel even dropped us off at the nearby subway station. When we returned to Kunming on our last day, we chose to stay at this hotel again. The staff here are incredibly enthusiastic; they recommended local breakfast spots and hot pot restaurants, all of which were delicious and very affordable. Because it was pouring rain that day, the hotel even went out of its way to drive us to the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is a good distance from the airport, so it wasn't as noisy at night as I expected; if you don't listen carefully, you can barely hear the planes landing. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers transiting through Kunming or those who want to be close to the airport without the noise. On a side note, dining in the village where the hotel is located is super convenient. There are restaurants within a 100-meter walk from the hotel, and the food suited our out-of-town tastes perfectly. I've included the name of the hot pot restaurant we went to; it was genuinely affordable, tasty, and the portions were generous. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again. The only downside is that there's no place to hang clothes or towels in the room, only in the bathroom. I hope the hotel can add some racks or hooks for guests to hang their belongings."
