"The B&B's location is fantastic; you can drive right up to the entrance, and getting around is super convenient. It's just a short walk west to the old town's core, but the soundproofing is excellent, so it truly offers a peaceful retreat despite being in a lively area. The owner has great taste and an eye for aesthetics. The courtyard is spotless, and they offer a breakfast set. Guests are also very considerate. For this location and price, it's definitely a good deal. Highly recommended!
However, in summer, you do need to be mindful of humidity and mosquitoes. But the owner provided mosquito repellent and an electric mosquito swatter, and surprisingly, we had no issues at all at night. We even turned mosquito hunting into a fun game, which my kid absolutely loved!"

There's no need to go outside the city to find a viewpoint; you can enjoy the complete view of the ancient city right from the hotel, which is a truly unique viewing experience."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to the old town. The room I booked was incredibly spacious, featuring a projector, a bathtub, a washing machine, and a refrigerator, which made everything super convenient. After a day out exploring and working up a sweat, I could easily do my laundry and then relax in the tub, effectively easing any discomfort from being away from home. It offers great value for money. A really nice hotel overall."

"The first hotel on our Yunnan trip was absolutely fantastic! The moment we stepped into the courtyard, we were instantly charmed by the beautiful flowers and plants, and seeing the adorable cats and dogs just lifted our spirits.
The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which is one of my must-haves when choosing accommodation. The bedding was super comfortable, and the bed was great for sleeping. They even had a direct drinking water dispenser in the room, which felt much safer than an electric kettle.
The guesthouse is just over a ten-minute walk to the South Gate of the ancient town. The walk back takes a few minutes longer because there's an uphill slope right before you reach the guesthouse, but if you rent a scooter, it's no problem at all. They even thoughtfully provided a foot bath tub in the room – soaking my feet after a long day was so relaxing.
The staff at the guesthouse were all young men, and they were warm and welcoming without being intrusive.
If I come back to Dali, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again."

"The place was incredibly clean, and the owner was so warm and welcoming. We were two adults traveling with two children, and the service was fantastic. The soundproofing was excellent. The owner basically met all our needs, especially appreciating the balcony where we could hang clothes – it had a cover so we didn't have to worry about rain. The rooftop offers stunning views of Cangshan Mountain and a distant glimpse of Erhai Lake, which was incredibly relaxing. Our room was spotless, and the shower gel and shampoo were good quality. Plus, the hot water was consistently warm, not fluctuating. I even got sick with a cold during our stay, and to my surprise, they provided cold medicine – that was a huge help! I'll definitely book here again on my next visit."
