After comparing several options for my Dali vacation, I finally settled on Nefertiti, and it was the luckiest decision of my entire trip! The guesthouse has a refreshing Santorini vibe, with perfect photo opportunities everywhere you look. The infinity pool and terrace hot tubs directly face the entire Erhai Lake, offering breathtaking views of Cangshan's sunset glow and the ocean at dusk. Every shot turns out stunning without any filters needed. The location is truly unbeatable, just a ten-minute drive from Dali High-Speed Railway Station. The hotel provides a complimentary pick-up service, and the butler contacted me in advance to confirm my arrival time, so I didn't have to worry about my heavy luggage at all. Getting a taxi or ordering takeout was incredibly convenient. The amenities are top-notch, with a full smart home control system. A Dyson hairdryer, disposable bath towels, face towels, steam eye masks, mouthwash, laundry detergent, disinfected slippers, and a complete set of toiletries are all provided, showcasing attention to detail at every turn. The room was spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a scenic balcony. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the entire room was spotlessly clean with no unpleasant odors. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, ensuring several nights of sound sleep. The public areas offer a wealth of facilities, including a gym, a private cinema, a mahjong/card room, and a sea-view afternoon tea restaurant. The sea-view dining by the pool was fantastic, and the freshly ground coffee was exceptional. The butlers and staff were gentle and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. They were genuinely warm and friendly, and even proactively recommended local hidden gems and authentic eateries, helping us avoid tourist traps. We even received occasional heartwarming surprises. Upon checkout, the hotel gifted us flower cakes embossed with 'Dali,' available in four flavors. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought into preparing these souvenirs for guests. This place is perfect for couples, families, or friends traveling together. With new facilities, meticulous service, stunning views, and incredible value for money, my entire stay was comfortable and relaxing, curing all my travel fatigue. I've already recommended it to all my friends, and next time I visit Dali, I'll definitely choose Nefertiti again!

Warm Light by Erhai Lake Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts. Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along? We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had. The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word. Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter. Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. Dali Tinghua Island B&B truly exceeded all expectations! The room offered genuine first-line sea views, completely unobstructed. I could lie in bed and gaze at Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain – it was incredibly healing. The interior design was aesthetically pleasing and exquisitely decorated, with all facilities being of high quality, making for a superb stay experience. The B&B's photographer was very professional, patiently guiding me on poses, and the photos turned out exceptionally well, easily capturing a great ambiance. The overall environment was quiet and romantic. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dali; I'll definitely come back next time!

This was my first time in Yunnan, and I specifically chose this guesthouse because it's right next to a police station. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, helping us with our luggage and giving us great tips for sightseeing. The courtyard is spacious and quiet, and it's only about a ten-minute walk to the ancient city. I really wished I could have stayed another day or two if my itinerary wasn't already set. Coming back around 11 PM, almost all the streetlights were off, but the guesthouse still had a super bright light on at the entrance, which I found incredibly thoughtful. We woke up late, and the kitchen had thoughtfully saved breakfast for us. The breakfast was very plentiful and made fresh by local aunties. Their human touch really surpasses many large hotels. If I ever come back to Dali, or if friends visit, I will definitely highly recommend this guesthouse.

The hotel is relatively new, located directly opposite the pier for boat tours on Erhai Lake. I stayed for two nights over the weekend and wasn't bothered by any noise from the road. The room had a JBL speaker, a humidifier, complimentary welcome fruit, and free soft drinks in the mini-fridge. They also offered a complimentary 'starry sky' afternoon tea on the top floor. The gym and swimming pool on the 23rd floor offer great views. Bathroom amenities, hairdryer, and breakfast are all as pictured. It's about 8 km from the ancient city and 10 km from the airport, so it's conveniently located between the two. There are many dining options downstairs, and you can also take a stroll to Erhai Park. The service was excellent; they called to remind me and provide information the day before check-in, and there was a selection of pillows available. Soundproofing was average, but luckily, my neighbors were quiet during my two-day stay. The breakfast restaurant is a bit small but offers specialty rice noodles, roasted sweet potatoes, and roasted potatoes. Overall, it's decent, though it can't compare to Shangri-La. It's comparable to the Dali Shili Hilton. The Shili Hilton's facilities are a bit older, but the rooms are larger, and it's closer to the ancient city, the Erhai Lake corridor, and the Cangshan Mountain cableway, though further from the airport.

Back in Dali, I decided to revisit the Xianyun 360-degree Cliff Seaview Hot Spring B&B, and it truly lived up to expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I later found out that the humble and helpful manager, who was always ready to assist, was also from Beijing, which made me feel right at home. The B&B's environment is serene and immaculate. The private hot spring pool in the room is definitely the highlight. Soaking in the hot spring, you're directly facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it's like a landscape painting come to life. During my downtime, I loved sitting on the balcony, gazing at Cangshan and Erhai, which was incredibly therapeutic after a long journey. The restaurant's dishes were delicious and flavorful. My experience was as excellent as ever, truly a hidden gem of a seaview B&B. Choosing to stay here twice speaks volumes about its reliable quality. Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them. The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise. Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. Not only did he take the initiative to inquire, but he also introduced the characteristics and customs of the Bai people in a very thoughtful way. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own bathing pool, dry and wet are separated, and even the toilet is fully automatic. Very clean! Breakfast and afternoon tea are richly prepared and have local characteristics. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!

Upon check-in, the butler informed us that my parents' twin room was not in the same building as our sea-view room. Butler Feifei then kindly upgraded my parents to a sea-view room free of charge. Also, the shuttle driver was excellent, taking us back and forth and even enthusiastically helping us with our belongings. The hotel's views are also fantastic.
