📍Location: Metro Line 2 (light green line), direct from the airport. Alight at Tangzhen Station, Exit 2 or 3. The exits lead to a large shopping mall called Sunshine Paradise a large shopping mall with a supermarket, Hey Tea, Family Mart, Hot Max, numerous restaurants, and McDonald's. Across from the hotel, there are more restaurants, but a bakery, a supermarket, and a Decathlon store. 🛋️The room was spacious and well-laid out, located at a corner, with ample space for 4 large suitcases, a small coffee table, and a work area. ::)There are laundry and drying facilities on the 4th floor (discovered this late in the trip). ::)Breakfast was included for 4 people. The variety of food was impressive (Xiao Long Bao, Chinese noodles with a made-to-order soup station, Western/Eastern breakfast options) and the menu changed daily. 🚐 For the return trip to the airport, a car was booked through Trip.com, which was about the same price as Didi and took approximately 30 minutes.

The facilities and equipment are complete, the hotel environment is good, the room is clean, the cleaning lady and the front desk lady have good service attitudes. The only drawback is that the room is too small.

Staff are nice and approachable. Room was clean and comfortable. The twin room size is just right for 2 persons. They served a delicious variety of breakfast. Enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

Our family just returned from an incredible trip to Shanghai, and the Royal Century Hotel was a massive part of making it so special. We are so, so happy we picked this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional. Friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful with every question we had. They made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our entire stay. The family rooms were fantastic – spacious, clean, and very comfortable for all of us. It was the perfect retreat after busy days of exploring. A HUGE highlight was the free shuttle bus to Disneyland. It was incredibly convenient, reliable, and took all the stress out of getting there and back. This service alone is worth its weight in gold for families. I have to give a special shout-out to the managers at the front desk. They went above and beyond to assist us, offering great local tips and always greeting us with a warm smile. They are a true asset to the hotel! And they spoke English Everything about our stay was wonderful. Thank you, Royal Century, for helping create such happy memories for our family. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Shanghai

I travelled with my mom and stayed in this hotel totally 1 week in November,2025. Hotel is nice and clean, price is not high. I liked breakfast in this hotel - rather various and yammy ( baozi, dumplings, milk, coffee, noodles, eggs, cakes etc ) Soundproofing is rather good as well. Location is ~1 km from Tangzhen subway station ( Line 2) but hotel provides free shuttle to this station each hour ( 8:00 till 22:00) - very convenient. I spent about 30 min to reach Shanghai center from hotel Also free transfer to Pudong airport is a great feature! I want to express special gratitude to LingLi, surprisingly her English was good ( most hotels receptions which i stayed before don't speak English). She provided me great assistance during my stay.

Very good accomodation, very clean, very comfort. They help us when we trouble with alipay, the staff is very helpful and friendly, nice and good. We very appreciate the staff that help us along the way, when we troubled with taxi, with didi and everything. Very recommended hotel 🙏🏻

Very good location. Silent area. Many cheap food points near. Good park around 500 m near.

It is very cost-effective in Shanghai. The room is very clean and the equipment is intact. The service of the front desk lady is great. The sound insulation is also very good. If you are looking for cost-effectiveness, it must be a great choice.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The service was exceptional—staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely warm, which made me feel very welcome. I also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was delicious and offered a good variety.
