It's really good & service apartment for short stay & long stay. It's located in prime location where you can reach restaurants & supermarkets within 10 minutes.
However, the experience of checking in could be improve especially for guests who arrive outside working hours. When we arrived, we are still able to call the customer centre on the doorbell but it take quite awhile to be able to talk one of their staffs & wait another time for them to confirm your booking.
Another point is that we got our room that has fish smell in inside the microwave, feels like previous guests cooked it before.
But overall, it's recommended stay which has hotel standard with fascilities like an apartment.

The hotel is not far from the intercity bus station, but you have to climb two hills, one of which is quite steep and long. The cleanliness was acceptable; I didn't experience the issues mentioned in other reviews. I stayed for three nights. For two nights, I was at the end of the 2nd-floor hallway, and the soundproofing was very poor; I could hear traffic passing by all night. For one night, I stayed on the 3rd floor in a room a bit further from the end, and it was very quiet at night. The kitchen is well-equipped with pots, bowls, and cutlery, and there's a microwave, oven, kettle, dish soap, and dishcloths.

I wish we didn’t have to leave so early because the bed was amazing! Great place nearby the shopping area. Only downside was that there is no shuttle to the airport. Taxi was 30$ for 1 minute ride, so we walked to the airport (takes up to 30mins depending how slow / fast you walk). The view is beautiful from the windows and the design in the room was great.

The hotel is a bit out of the way, so I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a car. The hygiene was decent, but parking was a hassle with only a few spots available. The room itself was quite basic, similar to what you'd find at a budget chain like Home Inn. Luckily, I got to see the aurora right outside the hotel! Overall, it was acceptable.

It’s a huge hostel in the prime part of queenstown so it’s a mixed bag on who you’ll be sharing a room with. There isn’t really anywhere to put your things in the room and need your own lock for the small safety cabinets, and sharing 2-4 outlets with everyone in the room, but it’s clean and the bed is fine.

The facilities were new and great, and the sleep was comfortable, but there are a few things that need improvement:
1️⃣ The water temperature at night wasn't good.
2️⃣ The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and I couldn't even connect to it.
Parking costs 20 NZD per day.

Very good. The only thing that let it down was the lack of air conditioning. The reception staff were very accommodating. There are still road works outside but they don't cause any noise. It was very peaceful at night.

Amazing stay at Melbourne lodge in Queenstown. The location is superb and the walk to the main downtown area is only 10mins though you will be walking uphill otw back. The room was spacious and well maintained, though take note that you will have to climb some stairs to access certain rooms but it was really a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it :)

GGuest UserThe staff are online and the hotel is a small boutique hotel. The breakfast is good and the location is very convenient. But there are two issues that cannot be avoided. First, the evening drinks and appetizers are only suitable for Europeans and Americans. They are a simple social time, and we think the happy hour in the executive lounge is two different concepts, so don’t have any expectations; second, the rooms are on the roadside. It's indeed noisy.

But what really elevated the experience was the hotel's service: the staff were always smiling, greeted us proactively, and the room cleaning was meticulous. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. This attention to detail and thoughtful service, combined with the enchanting environment, significantly enhanced our overall happiness during the stay. Highly recommended.
It's about a 10-minute walk to the town center, but the big advantage here is the convenient parking – parking is usually the biggest hassle in Queenstown. Most hotels in New Zealand have a check-out time around 10:00 AM, but if you talk to them, you can usually extend it to 11:00 AM.

::))We were thrilled to be the very first guests to leave a review for this stunning new resort! The location is fantastic, just a quick 10-minute drive to town, and our room offered breathtaking views of the Shot River, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.
We arrived around 10 PM, and the hotel reception was impeccably prepared, warmly welcoming us and even upgrading our room! It looked exactly like the photos, with a design and interior that perfectly captured the vibe we were seeking. They had welcome drinks waiting for us, and we appreciated that milk was available on request at any time.
The breakfast was a delightful a la carte experience, featuring an array of delicious options. The serving staff was not only attentive and kind but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants!
We also indulged in room service, which exceeded our expectations in both taste and punctuality. Although the fitness room and movie room were still under construction, the small maintenance issue we encountered in the bathroom was addressed swiftly by the staff.
Our stay has left us eager to return and see the final results of this new gem. I highly recommend this resort to everyone!

SSafiyoooI had a truly wonderful stay at this retreat. The place itself is absolutely spectacular — very calming, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The deck is stunning, and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
The owners were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Their hospitality genuinely stood out. The dogs were lovely and added so much warmth to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, and the variety of teas available was out of this world.
As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for, which is something I value highly. The atmosphere is peaceful and nurturing — exactly what you want from a retreat.
The only minor downside is that it’s a bit far from the shops (around a one-hour walk). However, this was easily managed as Uber is only a 6-minute drive, and the hosts were also kind enough to offer lifts when possible.
Overall, an absolutely stunning place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay

It was super inconvenient having to climb a hill for about a kilometer and cross a road – it was such a hassle. My legs were aching and shaking, which really put a damper on my trip. There was no prior notice that parking wasn't available and needed to be reserved. Aside from the parking issue, everything else was good.
