"Was a short travel of 2 nights. Hotel was clean, Staff was helpful and did help me catering my baggage. I was way too early on the check in day. Check in and check out process was smooth. Bed was great with great pillows options. Room was just nice but i suppose the working table was a little too small. The rest was alright, breakfast was meh too... the garlic naan was bad. hard as rock and wasnt heated up good. Dhall was bad too just watery... :((( The only thing that i took a lot of mind with is the speed of elevator, there is only 2 elevator to rooms. And there is about 19 floors ? thats way too less. One extra elevator was just for parking. I suppose more improvement can be done here. The speed of elevator could be speed up too at least... door opens before closing even if you pressed close. (if not gonna build another one, at least speed it up) this i was disappointed.... the rest was ok.. 3.7 / 5 i guess ?"

"3rd time in Ibis Bencoolen and I was surprised to see it was renovated! The rooms looked more spacious and even the bathroom seemed much chic and cool with the dark floor tiles! However, the trip this time was marred by several incidents. The second day in, I noticed the door hinge was odd, and it turned out one of the screws was missing, causing the door to not close tightly. Informed front desk and they sent someone to look into it, yet the man said they could only rectify the next day (something about they didn’t have the toolbox). Front desk offered to change rooms (it’s already the last day) or late check out until 2pm (flight was noon). Had an uneasy sleep since the door wasn’t fully locked. Shower water pressure was fine but it was scalding hot one night as well. Staff came and it was fine after that. Overall, the location is unbeatable, but facilities could be better maintained."

"We booked this at the very last minute due to Agoda booking unable to check in. Thus we are in a very tired and mental stress condition. We did not expect this hotel to be anything. Unfortunately, the front desk service and location is out of our expectations. It's very convenient with public transportation and food as well. The process of checkin is fast and efficient, yet the front desk is very polite and friendly. This is really good. Even the room is small but sufficient and good enough for us to have a good place to rest and sleep. The bed is very comfortable and we have a very good rest after torture by Agoda and Dash Living hotel for the booking issue. Finally this hotel give us a nice place to rest. I will definitely come back to this hotel in any point of time I need. It's a simple and nice hotel. Thank you to trip.com and hotel staff. In future also I only use trip.com because it's easy and fast."
