I thought beds are usually this uncomfortable until I stayed at other hotels. Barely good enough to sleep if you’re used to comfortable beds. Has an issue with the remote after 2 days and they simply couldn’t fix it. So if you encounter issues, you might be on your own. That’s not to say that staff isn’t helpful. You’re just getting what you pay for
Location is so perfect that I didn’t even bother with grab at all for most of Hanoi city attractions. It’s especially good on weekends when the major roads around the lake are closed for pedestrian. The breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Vietnamese section was incredibly authentic; every dish was satisfying. Staying at this hotel felt like a true vacation – the environment was quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxing during the ***** New Year. The gym was well-equipped with a great view, which really boosted my mood while working out. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hanoi.

2. The service is a major highlight; it's simply superb. They offer personalized, one-on-one service, and the front desk staff even escorts you to your room. They are very enthusiastic and have excellent English skills. There's also a male staff member who speaks Chinese.
3. The downside is that the rooms are a bit narrower compared to those in China, which seems to be a common characteristic of hotels in Hanoi's Old Quarter. Surprisingly, the two bottles of mineral water in the room were chargeable, which is something they could definitely improve.

GGuest UserGreat hotel, cleanliness is up to standard, water heater is constant, air conditioning is great no stench smell, staff friendliness and customer service is top notch, I do not usually bother to leave review but this hotel definitely deserve a good review, however I wish that maybe there can be more varieties of breakfast.
On top of that I will like to compliment staff Miss Fancy, her attention to details and customer service is one of the best, I personally feel she should be groom and given the opportunity of a management role.
Really satisfied and had a wonderful stay at this hotel !!!

MMorison MorisonThe hotel location is very perfect, and easy to go to anywhere in old quarter. I like stay in here cause easy to go to pub, eating place, spa, and so many shop and eateries in here. But the very important thing is cindy because she is friendly and care to us and to the people stay in here and every morning she come to breakfast area and coming to our table too in the breakfast time and asking what we need for breakfast and anything we need for breakfast and in the hotel and chit chat with us. Before we going to airport and she give us 2 gift of this coffee. All the staff in this hotel very help and friendly and room boy helps us to bring our luggage to lobby hotel. Only 1 things this hotel need to improve is the gym, cause the gym don't have many equipment for doing the gym. Everything is perfect, keep going with your service. We will come back again to this hotel when we come to hanoi again. Thanks you all staff and cindy and this hotel splendid premium hotel. 👍👍👍

VvictormuzzyA fantastic hotel in a great location! Just a few minutes' walk to Hoan Kiem Lake! A 20-minute walk around the lake. Lots of delicious restaurants near the hotel, especially the popular pizza place right next door—but there was always a queue, so maybe next time! Mixue Ice Cream is also nearby, and the prices are great! The hotel service is superb, and the breakfast deserves a thumbs up! It's delicious! It's within walking distance of attractions like the church, the train station, and the night market. I'll definitely stay here again next time! Absolutely!

GGuest UserThis hotel has both prominent pros and cons. The room offers a great view, it has a smart toilet, the rooftop infinity pool is fantastic, and the gym is pretty good. Breakfast is also varied and ample. However, the downside is that it gets very crowded, and the cleanliness is only so-so.

The twin room felt a bit small because of the beds, and I was slightly disappointed there was no bathtub, as previous stays at this hotel always had one. This is a standard large hotel, featuring a swimming pool, gym, and spa. The buffet restaurant also meets typical large hotel standards, offering a rich variety of Western, Japanese, and Vietnamese cuisine. I've always been very satisfied.

1/ Overbooking situation - cancellation the day before landing
My friend and I booked two separate rooms to stay at this hotel, the day before the check in, my friend's booking got cancelled by the hotel without information. We had contacted the hotel several times in vain, then it was confirmed that they have overbooked the hotel which caused to trouble to start with our holiday.
Hotel Director of sales M. Victor N. did replied by email on the checking day 18/4 few hours before that ”we don't know the fact. You can make your reservation on our website now.” The remaining option on 18/4 morning was a ”suite” 14 times higher rate than our initial booking...
Therefore once arrived at Hanoi, we wanted to get a refund of my remaining booking but the hotel reception lady Mrs Ruby was not helpful at first and rude towards us. Her non hospitality professionalism and communication led us feel very unwelcomed (no smile, no thank you, speaking vietnamese with her colleague in front of us). May need to review if she really should stay at the reception as this is client facing interaction and should be solution driven.
She strictly insisted that she doesn't know why we only got one room left and my booking was non refundable even tough they did cancelled my friend's one few hours ago. After negotiation, she kept saying as it is non refundable, either we stay, either we book another room.
At that moment, there was an another room not the Suite one that just got available ”King room” and if we could pay the price difference which is higher than our initial paid booking and need to stay together in the same room.
As we just started the holidays and to not loose the money that we could not get refunded, we paid the difference to change to that room. We paid in cash to get that room.
We thought that was going to be just one off issue/misunderstanding and could start our holidays.
Note: If you pay in credit card they will charge 3% additional. The exchange rate is more convenient to change at jewelry gold shop in Hàng Bac street (5 mins walk), the rate at the hotel is too high, don't change there.
2/ Cleanliness
As we got this better king's room with window, we were expecting that to be at least clean and suitable for 2 pax.
The bed sheets and cushions were yellowish, the floor was not vacuum (dead bees staying there whole stay), the slippers are dirty, the wall is stained and some unfinished renovation. The worst is the shower/bathtub, once you shower, it will flood to the room, we had to put towels to absorb the water in the room.
You have to ask for towels if they clean your room as they will forget.
3/ Breakfast
Be aware that it is from 6:30am to 9:30am, the breakfast is correct as a mini buffet
Overall this hotel is average, the positive points are the location and the other gentleman receptionist allowing us to have a ”late check out” at noon instead of 11am, as if after noon they will charge one night more.
The hotel should stop with overbooking rooms that will cause unnecessary stress situation for everyone and need to be renovated.
To be honest, you can have much more great options nearby, CLEAN and with great hospitality service. As part of holidays and for a decent price, just book another hotel to avoid negative start for your holidays.
