HhauzhiThe hotel location is great, the exit literally connect to tanukikoji street, the room layout is great (don't have those weird corners that you cannot use but still count towards room space), easily accessible hot spring that you don't have to walk through a long cold corridor, and there is unlimited snacks and free drinks to boost.
But the number of coin laundry is too scarce (just 2 washers and 2 dryers).

MMsBeh94We had a good overall stay at Hotel Mystays Sapporo Station. The room was clean and reasonably spacious for two adults, making it comfortable for our stay.
Basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in the room. Additional items like toner, lotion and cleanser can be taken from the hotel lobby. A hair dryer is also available in the room. (I don’t recall seeing a fridge, so do check if that is important to you.) The hotel also provides shared facilities such as microwaves, vending machines, and washing and dryer machines located on different floors, which is convenient for longer stays.
Our stay included breakfast, served on Level 14. The buffet offers a decent variety of both Western and Japanese dishes. Do note that breakfast ends at 9am, so it’s best to go early.
The location is very convenient. The hotel is near the North Exit of Sapporo Station. The closest exit is Exit 9, but it involves three flights of stairs. If you are travelling with large suitcases, it is easier to walk about 200 metres to the main North Exit, which has better access. The walk is generally easy, though it can be slightly challenging in winter when snow covers the sidewalks.
Sapporo Station is connected to several malls and underground shopping areas, making it very convenient for dining and shopping close to the hotel.
The hotel offers luggage storage before check-in and after check-out (we used it for same-day storage), which was very helpful. They also work with a third-party luggage delivery service that can send your suitcases to another location (eg, your next hotel) for a fee. Delivery usually requires at least one day, so you will need to plan your itinerary accordingly. This is a useful option if you prefer not to carry large suitcases while travelling between cities.
The hotel provides two types of pillows (one soft and one firm). If you are particular about pillow firmness, you may find them either too soft or too hard, so do take note.
Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient choice for staying near Sapporo Station.

AAlyakhooStrategic location, very convenient! Next to Family Mart; in between Tanukiko-ji 1&2; right opposite McDonald's & Daiso. There's a very good ramen shop (Yamaokaya Minami2Jo) next to the hotel.
They do not clean the room daily, but new towels & amenities are given daily. We got so lucky to get the Sapporo TV Tower room view.

GGuest UserThe location is convenient, making it easy to get around. The room is spacious enough, and they even provide drinks and alcohol. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety every day. I especially loved the seafood congee, sashimi platter, Pacific saury, and sesame spinach, haha!

CCyiKen222We were able to spread out three 20-inch suitcases with no problem. It's only a 200-meter walk to JR, and the underground passage right across the street connects directly to Daimaru department store, which is incredibly convenient. If you buy too much and can't carry it all, you can easily drop it off at the hotel before heading out to shop again. The hotel's breakfast offers amazing value for money and is delicious. The hotel is a bit older but still very clean. It's also just a few minutes' walk from Hokkaido University. If you're going to Susukino, I'd recommend taking a taxi; it's about 1600 JPY. There are also DHC toiletries available downstairs.

The observation deck is very quiet and doubles as a small bar, which I really liked. I especially loved the breakfast here—it was cozy, delicious, and perfectly suited my taste.

Location is very near the city center, just a walking distance of about 17minutes from hotel to city center. Amenities are good. Rooms are clean. Only the television is not smart tv we cannot watch our favorite movies on netflix. Room is clean and spacious. Separate toilet and shower room. The ambience is great. Lawson is just a 2minute walk. The staffs are good and I like the girl in the souvenir shop she is very friendly. Their buffet breakfast is great and delicous. They also allow us to take out some pancakes specially when we are on our rush breakfast for our early tour. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

GGuest UserI booked a triple room for a trip with my parents. The room wasn't huge, but the layout was very efficient and convenient. We were assigned a higher floor, so the view from the window was great and it wasn't noisy.
What we were most satisfied with were the hotel's breakfast and hot springs. The hotel has three distinct restaurants, and the breakfast quality was truly excellent. We were lucky enough to stay for four nights, so we got to try breakfast at each restaurant, and every one of them deserves a 5-star rating. The only minor flaw (a personal preference) was that there was no freshly ground coffee; the coffee was served from a thermos, and the taste was slightly lacking.
The hot springs are located on the 3rd floor of the hotel, and the environment is lovely. When we visited, there were very few people, allowing us to fully enjoy the hot springs and sauna.

GGuest UserThis is a historic Japanese onsen hotel. The hot spring water quality is genuinely good, attracting many Japanese families and couples. There are also quite a few Korean families and Western tourists. However, the overall facilities are a bit old, and the flow within the onsen area is quite complex. There aren't many pools, but they are spread across multiple floors with lots of stairs. Walking around like that **in that condition** felt a bit awkward and cold. The open-air onsen on the 16th floor is shared by men and women at different times, so if all family members want to enjoy it, one day definitely isn't enough (see the last picture for the onsen schedule). The 'water world' is fun and great for kids, and soaking in the hot spring after playing there is very relaxing. The dining is just okay, nothing special, as they mainly cater to group tours.
P.S. The scenery in Jozankei is worth exploring, and the nearby ski resort is worth a visit (the kind for playing in the snow). The kids had a blast.

The facilities are what you'd expect from a well-established star-rated hotel, and the location is absolutely prime, making it convenient to get anywhere. The night view from the upper floors is particularly beautiful. You can pretty much book this place without a second thought. Once again, I applaud my hotel-picking skills!
