"Very near in tanuki koji, train stations, also bus stations from and to new chitose airport, the room is clean. If you aak if it is small, mostly hotel are like this but we have 2 big luggage and 2 hand carry bags and it all fit. So nothing to worry. Plus we have breakfast everyday which can fill our stomach with japanese breakfast. We had unli coffee, unli tea, and what we loved was the lactic acid vinegar juices. The lobby and dining area have heaters. We hade pajamas. ♡"

"The room isn't huge, but there's enough space to open a suitcase. The Japanese guy at the front desk who spoke Chinese was a great help; he booked a New Year's Day restaurant for me, and the food there was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and as a guest, I even got a 10% discount at the restaurant.
The only issue was that the yukata provided had someone else's hair in it! It was all curled up in a clump, which was a bit disgusting."

"This is my second time staying here. I really like this hotel, even though the walk to the stations (Sapporo station, Toho Line and Namboku Line) is like 10-15 minutes' walk away. I like the room, not big but enough to accommodate a solo traveller like myself. And it's clean and comfy. "We stayed in a room with four single beds, which had ample space. The location is incredibly convenient, right outside Sapporo Metro Exit 21. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to JR Sapporo Station. Diagonally opposite is Tokyu Department Store, and on either side of JR Sapporo Station, you'll find Daimaru Department Store and STELLAR PLACE, both excellent places for shopping. Sapporo TV Tower is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and Tanukikoji Shopping Street is a 10-15 minute walk. There's a famous soup curry restaurant, PICANTA, just over 100 meters away. Walking to Sapporo Factory takes about 15-20 minutes. You can also book direct buses to Teine Ski Resort for morning and evening trips. The room was cleaned daily, and the hotel staff were all friendly. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also good."

"The room exceeded our expectations. We booked a double room, which was quite spacious for Japan. The cleanliness was excellent, very spotless. The location is superb, very close and convenient to the subway station, and also very near Odori Park, just a few steps downstairs to enjoy it. It comes with a mini-fridge, heater, deodorant, and other amenities. The front desk staff (both male and female) were very friendly and enthusiastic! The lobby also offers hot and cold water and coffee. We paid 290+ per night, which is excellent value for money. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I'll include some photos from our Hokkaido trip instead."

"I had a wonderful stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel. There was initially a mix-up with Daiwa Roynet Nakajima, but it was resolved smoothly and did not affect the overall experience.

"Located in Nakajima Park, it's easily accessible directly from New Chitose Airport via the airport shuttle bus, and the return pick-up point is conveniently right across the street from the hotel. The hotel breakfast offers both Japanese and buffet options, and both are delicious. Upon check-in, a bellhop escorted us to our room, helped with our luggage, and explained everything. Luggage storage is available, and for extended stays, our bags were already in the room upon our return. It really feels like you're staying right in Nakajima Park. Highly recommended!"

Location was awesome. Just overlooking Nakajima Park with a short 5-min walk to an underground station with quick access to Sapporo Station, Odori Park, Susukino, etc.
Room was very clean, and big enough to still have a bit of space to move around in rather than being stuck on the bed.
Breakfast was decent! Fresh milk and juice, machine coffee was better than average. Congee, miso soup, some hot plate dishes (bacon, egg, wedges, fritters) as well as some Japanese options, white toast and jams, cereal, but limited fruit and veg."

AAnonymous UserI meticulously chose this hotel after looking through many in Sapporo, and it offers excellent value for money. I selected a room on floors 15-17, and I was assigned one on the 17th, the highest floor.
My corner room faces west, offering a panoramic view of the distant mountains and the lush greenery surrounding Hokkaido University. The other side faces south, where I could see the Ferris wheel 🎡 and the clock on the TV Tower 🗼.
Every morning, waking up to the sight of green hills enveloped in white clouds, I felt so relaxed that I almost didn't want to leave the room.
I could have visited the Hokkaido University Museum nearby, and even had a meal there, but I went on a holiday and couldn't get any food.
Getting to JR Sapporo Station was very convenient, especially close to the North Exit. Even with my mobility issues, my local guide pulled me along from JR Station to the hotel, in the evening rain, with an umbrella and luggage. For someone with average stamina, it would be no problem at all.
While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge variety, it offered items I enjoyed, so I was very satisfied every morning. Their honey, labeled 'honeycomb,' was particularly interesting and delicious; I found it exceptionally sweet and fragrant, though I wonder if it was just my imagination.
There were four magnetic signs on the door to indicate whether housekeeping 🧹 was needed. I chose not to have my room cleaned as I don't like others touching my bed. Each morning, I'd just place the trash outside the door and ask for two bottles of water.
Inside JR Sapporo Station, there are many places to eat and shop. I bought Sapporo Agricultural College cookies, which weren't too sweet, at the Hokkaido specialty store on the first floor. There were many other shops I didn't have time to browse. Don't miss the JR Observation Deck on the 38th floor! You can go during the day, at night, or at dusk to watch the sunset. It's very convenient and beautiful.
A taxi to Shiroi Koibito Park cost around 3000 yen, which is a bit pricey. Other places like Odori Park and the Ferris wheel are much closer, costing just over a thousand yen.
Some reviews mentioned that the north side is quieter than the south. I agree. Since I don't enjoy shopping, the north side was perfect for me. Perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway, it was exceptionally quiet. The guests next door seemed very quiet too. Sometimes it was so quiet it felt almost desolate. Maybe the soundproofing of the windows is excellent.

MMaer83This is a brand new hotel, perfectly situated with Nakajima Park and the Toyohira River right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. Both the facilities and service are fully up to Marriott's usual high standards, leaving no room for complaint. Our children particularly adored the sweet ********* lady at the front desk.
My only minor gripe is the hotel lobby; it's quite small and feels crowded with just 3-5 groups of guests, which doesn't quite match the caliber of the hotel.

MmcspikyOur family had an excellent stay at Bespoke Hotel Sapporo! The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with any request — truly one of the highlights of our trip.
The room isn’t very large, but it was still comfortable and adequate for a family of four. We managed perfectly fine, and the heater/air-conditioning system was fantastic. It was very easy to adjust the room temperature to exactly how we wanted it.
A couple of small areas for improvement:
The laundry room only has three machines, so sometimes guests leave their clothes inside for too long, which can be inconvenient.
Parking is very limited — only eight slots, and availability depends on your car’s size. We were only able to park after switching to a smaller rental car. Thankfully, the hotel provides access to affiliated parking lots nearby at discounted rates.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Bespoke Hotel Sapporo. It was a great experience for the whole family!

Love the convenience of this hotel — it’s just a short walk from Sapporo Station, and the area around it is super easy to get around. I booked a 3-person room, and it was spacious enough for all three of us. The room was clean and well-kept, and the toilet came with both a bathtub and a shower jet, which was a nice touch.
At the reception, there’s a small bar counter, and each guest gets a ¥300 drink credit to redeem for an alcoholic drink like red wine, white wine, or sake. There’s also a coffee machine, perfect for a quick caffeine fix before heading out.
Breakfast was decent — it runs from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., which gives plenty of time even for late risers.
There’s also a laundry room with four sets of coin washers and dryers, which came in handy for longer stays.
Overall, a really convenient and comfortable hotel, especially for those who want easy access to both Odori Park and Susukino. Walking from Sapporo JR station is about a 5 to 7-minute walk. The easiest way, especially during cold or rainy days, is to walk through the underground shopping street and come up from Exit 13. You’ll surface right from level 1 of Tokyu Department Store (Big Camera is on level 5-6). Once you’re up, look across the road and you’ll see a Kani Honke crab restaurant (a crab sign) — Hotel Forza Sapporo is just next to it.
If you continue walking further down, you’ll get to Odori Park and eventually the Susukino area.
Right now, there’s some construction work in front of Sapporo Station, so the view might be blocked. If you prefer to walk above ground, taking the street route from the South Gate exit toward Tokyu Department Store is actually a bit quicker.

It's also about a ten-minute walk to the TV Tower and Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The Japanese breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, ensuring you start your day energized! The twin room is around 18 square meters, which is quite spacious for Japan! You can easily take the JR train for day trips to Otaru and Asahikawa.

EElisia LohThe hotel provides a shuttle bus pick-up from Sapporo Station (Bus Terminal), but reservations can only be made by phone call. Email requests are not accepted. We arrived on a Sunday, and the bus was already fully packed when leaving Sapporo Station, so it is best to book early.
The hotel itself is a little old, though the public area toilets appear to have been recently renovated. The public onsen pools are large and relaxing, but the stone tile flooring can be slippery from long use, so be careful when walking in the bath area.
The buffet has a good spread of dishes. I especially enjoyed the dinner scallop miso soup, handmade sushi, and desserts. The restaurant was lively and fully packed with both local Japanese families and overseas tourists. One minor downside was the seasonal fruit such as lychee.
