Amazing
JJiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

YYalishanda3.0These days, when I book hotels in Japan, I prefer ones near JR stations. It's convenient for both transportation and shopping. This hotel is right next to Daimaru Department Store, and the station itself has a great selection of convenience stores and souvenir shops. I even spotted a Ueshima Coffee House at the station (which is almost a distant memory in Shanghai!). Across the street from the station is Tokyu Department Store, which I hear is a popular spot for locals. Just two blocks further, there's a Kani Shogun restaurant with 4 or 5 floors. The hotel strictly adheres to its 3 PM check-in policy; even if they put our luggage in the room earlier, we still had to wait until 3 PM to check-in ourselves. The breakfast here is excellent; the cold bridge noodles and seafood bibimbap were particularly delicious. The service, cleanliness, and overall environment are all great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sapporo.

SSomewhere In Time ⏳A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️

CCaifujiankanggaojingzhizichanpeizhizhuanjiaThe room was large and clean, and the hot spring facilities were excellent with a huge space. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including unlimited domestic Japanese wagyu beef grilled fresh on the spot. For the same amount of steak, I would pay 10,000 yen for just 6 small pieces at Hokkai-En Yakiniku in Niseko town. The pizzas were also made to order. They even poured champagne from a brand new bottle into clean glasses for us. And the price was very reasonable; I even wondered if there was a mistake in the bill, haha! 😄

CChabrior TurbuloThe most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel. We had some of the best sleep during our stay. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows and soft, high-quality linens. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and very well soundproofed, with lots of space to store luggage and personal items, plus many useful amenities. The entire hotel has a modern, clean design and is kept in excellent condition. The staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English, which made everything easy. They even provided umbrellas free of charge when it rained, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel bar also deserves a mention. The service was excellent, the drinks were very good, and the parfaits were delicious. Since parfaits are very popular locally in Sapporo, I definitely recommend trying one here. The location is convenient too: just a short walk from Susukino and the Sapporo city center, close to the station by a few metro stops, and easy to reach by taxi. Overall, this Marriott was a real gem. Because of such a pleasant experience here, I’ll definitely consider staying at other Marriott Courtyard hotels in the future.

GGuest UserThis onsen hotel is definitely worth the price. The environment and hygiene are excellent, and the room layout is fantastic. The yukata was the most comfortable I wore during my Hokkaido trip. The service was absolutely superb, especially the proprietress at the Kaiseki restaurant, Shoan. She was incredibly elegant and generous, giving us an authentic and meticulous Japanese service experience. The private onsen with a fee had average views. The outdoor public onsen was closed on the day of my stay due to cold weather. The indoor onsen, for a hotel of this price point, was quite ordinary. Therefore, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the onsen experience. All in all, while it might not be exceptionally surprising, this is a hotel that's well worth its price.

AAnonymous UserConvenient location for trains and buses from Sapporo Station, and there is an airport bus stop in front of the hotel and metro station is very close. Good hospitable staffs and many of them can speak English. Our triple room is corner room, we have enough space for 3people and there is one small closet in front of bathroom.

GGuest UserWe’ve stayed here for 7 nights. Which was a bit longer stay for Sapporo. However as the weather was so bad with heavy snow, so we did enjoy our stays in hotel during the snowy weather. The breakfast is so great and we expect it every morning, as it includes a variety of foods so you always can find something to enjoy. All staffs are very friendly and welcoming, especially two male & senior chefs at ramen and omelette. We also bought spa in our room rate, so every night we did enjoy a pleasant spa( though it’s not hot spring). In front of hotel, there is a small mall - BIVI , which with some good restaurants ,nice cafe (Gentle Bagel) and coop. Even at the heavy snowing days, you have no worries to spend time in. B1 with very practical laundry service , costs are fairly . If you have budget, you can choose only room (without breakfast and spa) plans, which is with very CP, strongly recommended.

GGuest UserI would like to express my deepest gratitude to the wonderful team at the hotel for making my stay truly exceptional. The breakfast was delicious every morning, the room service was excellent — truly among the best I’ve experienced — and the laundry service was very convenient. The hotel’s location also made it easy to walk to nearby sightseeing spots, which added even more enjoyment to my trip. My sincere thanks to 大高, who showed exceptional patience and kindness while helping me book the bus to 登別溫泉. She even went the extra mile to contact another hotel and arrange a pickup for me on May 3rd. Her thoughtful support made my journey much smoother. I am also very thankful to 陳家仁, who provided clear and helpful advice on how to take the bus. His guidance and willingness to assist gave me great confidence during my travels. Additionally, I want to give special appreciation to 神永, whose professionalism and dedication were outstanding. He clearly enjoys his role, and his support with the shuttle bus departure was both efficient and reassuring. My heartfelt thanks also go to Assistant Manager Hayashi Shuko, who demonstrated excellent leadership and warm hospitality throughout my stay. Her attentiveness and professionalism added greatly to the overall experience. I would also like to acknowledge Bell Antony and the entire bell team for their well organized arrangements for guests taking the free shuttle bus. Their coordination was smooth, thoughtful, and very helpful. To all of them — and to the entire hotel team — thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent service. You made my stay memorable, comfortable, and full of positive experiences. I am truly grateful.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo. One of the highlights was definitely the lounge, which offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was well-stocked, nicely presented, and provided a great space to relax, whether for a quick refreshment or to spend some quiet time. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and soothing, making it an excellent place for rest and recovery. The environment felt peaceful, and everything was designed to help guests unwind. After a busy period of work, this stay served as the perfect break to recharge both physically and mentally. I also appreciated how the hotel balanced comfort with convenience, creating a space where I could truly disconnect from work stress while still feeling well taken care of. This trip left me with very good memories, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or even a short work break. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
