Amazing
JJiaoxilaoshiThis is by far the best onsen hotel I've ever stayed in! It's located around Jozankei town, with a shuttle bus service from Sapporo, making it very private and quiet. The room is spacious enough, and the private onsen is excellent – my skin felt so smooth after a soak. The bedding was comfortable, and the pillows were quite high-tech. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a healing view of the snowy landscape, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a raccoon! The service was top-notch, patient and enthusiastic. I have to rave about the food at this hotel; the Italian dinner was incredible, every dish was superb, using seasonal local ingredients and beautifully presented. After dinner, you can even take some rice balls, desserts, and drinks back to your room. The hotel has a smoking room and vending machines, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. I'd love to come back again in the summer if I get the chance.

GGuest UserThis hotel is super convenient, right above Sapporo JR Station. The room was surprisingly spacious; we could easily open two large suitcases. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with a separate tub and shower. The spa on the 22nd floor with its hot springs is highly recommended! We didn't even use the shower or tub in our room because we spent all our time at the hot springs, and hotel guests even get a discount. The views were fantastic too. The room I requested exceeded my expectations. This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Sapporo. The service is excellent, and it's incredibly handy for catching the subway or JR trains.

SSomewhere In Time ⏳A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️

CCaifujiankanggaojingzhizichanpeizhizhuanjiaThe room was large and clean, and the hot spring facilities were excellent with a huge space. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including unlimited domestic Japanese wagyu beef grilled fresh on the spot. For the same amount of steak, I would pay 10,000 yen for just 6 small pieces at Hokkai-En Yakiniku in Niseko town. The pizzas were also made to order. They even poured champagne from a brand new bottle into clean glasses for us. And the price was very reasonable; I even wondered if there was a mistake in the bill, haha! 😄

PPaatBibeeModern Comfort with Exceptional Service. We recently stayed at this brand new hotel for 3 nights and was thoroughly impressed. As someone who travels frequently and appreciated good design and hospitality, this property hit all the right notes. The ambience & Room: The hotel features a clean and medern design. My room was a decent size-not too small for 2 people-and perfectly maintained. ิิิิฺ-Modern amenities including a Nespresso machine and a smart TV with Netflix made our stay very comfortable when snowing outside. -Attentive and consistent housekeeping. The room was refreshed daily with plenty of drinking water provided. Service: The staff here are the true stars. They are genuinely friendly, always greeting us with a smile. They went beyond by help to pre-booking a fixed-rate taxi for our airport transfrer, which made our early morning departure stress-free. Location and Dining: While the hotel isn't right in the hustle and bustle of the center area, it is within easy walking distance to everything. The subway is just around the corner but we prefer walking for observation. The surrounding area is packed with great local dining options. Plus, the hotel's own restaurant is quite a great choice for a great dinner. A Small Note for Improvement: The only thing I missed was the ability to slightly crack open a window. As someone sensitive to room temperature during sleep (especially in winter), having a bit of fresh air would have made the stay even more perfect. Verdict: Highly recommended for those who valure cleanliness, modern aesthetics, and top-tier service. We would definitely stay here again next time.

AAnonymous UserLocation: If you couldn't book the hotel's free shuttle or the Kappa Liner bus, you can take rapid bus #7 or #8 from Sapporo city center to Daiichi Hotel Mae, and the hotel is right there. There's also a bus to Sapporo Ski Resort that stops at the same platform. Room Amenities: The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and it even had its own private hot spring bath. I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. The food was just okay, but there was a self-service bar and some snacks.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at this hotel based on a friend's recommendation. Its biggest advantage is the airport shuttle (1500 JPY/person) right outside the hotel, which is also the first stop. The journey takes 1.5 hours. It's also a maximum 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station. The room was clean, but the gap between the two beds was a bit too narrow. The bathroom was spacious and came with disposable slippers. There's no bottled water in the room, but drinking water is available in the hallway. I chose the Japanese set meal for breakfast, which was good. The front desk service was excellent, and there's a weighing scale in the lobby.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient. However, this hotel is a good option if you have an early flight the next day. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell; I suggest the hotel improves its ventilation.

GGuest UserI would like to express my deepest gratitude to the wonderful team at the hotel for making my stay truly exceptional. The breakfast was delicious every morning, the room service was excellent — truly among the best I’ve experienced — and the laundry service was very convenient. The hotel’s location also made it easy to walk to nearby sightseeing spots, which added even more enjoyment to my trip. My sincere thanks to 大高, who showed exceptional patience and kindness while helping me book the bus to 登別溫泉. She even went the extra mile to contact another hotel and arrange a pickup for me on May 3rd. Her thoughtful support made my journey much smoother. I am also very thankful to 陳家仁, who provided clear and helpful advice on how to take the bus. His guidance and willingness to assist gave me great confidence during my travels. Additionally, I want to give special appreciation to 神永, whose professionalism and dedication were outstanding. He clearly enjoys his role, and his support with the shuttle bus departure was both efficient and reassuring. My heartfelt thanks also go to Assistant Manager Hayashi Shuko, who demonstrated excellent leadership and warm hospitality throughout my stay. Her attentiveness and professionalism added greatly to the overall experience. I would also like to acknowledge Bell Antony and the entire bell team for their well organized arrangements for guests taking the free shuttle bus. Their coordination was smooth, thoughtful, and very helpful. To all of them — and to the entire hotel team — thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent service. You made my stay memorable, comfortable, and full of positive experiences. I am truly grateful.

GGuest UserI had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Grand Mercure Sapporo. One of the highlights was definitely the lounge, which offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. It was well-stocked, nicely presented, and provided a great space to relax, whether for a quick refreshment or to spend some quiet time. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and soothing, making it an excellent place for rest and recovery. The environment felt peaceful, and everything was designed to help guests unwind. After a busy period of work, this stay served as the perfect break to recharge both physically and mentally. I also appreciated how the hotel balanced comfort with convenience, creating a space where I could truly disconnect from work stress while still feeling well taken care of. This trip left me with very good memories, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or even a short work break. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
