"The facilities at all the Ji Hotel chain properties are, as expected, excellent. What really sets them apart is the attention to detail in their service at each individual location. The front desk staff at the Hongshan branch were incredibly enthusiastic and accommodating. They were always ready to help and provided solutions to any issues we had. When I wanted to mail something back, all I had to do was arrange for a courier to pick it up, and I could just leave the package with the front desk. The staff always greeted us warmly, and if they saw us with a lot of bags, they'd immediately offer to help carry them. Their enthusiasm was just amazing. Thumbs up!"

"I previously stayed at Mehood Lestie in Chongzuo and had a fantastic experience. They offered complimentary cold drinks, afternoon tea, and even late-night snacks during the scorching summer, which was very impressive. The service was excellent, and the price was quite reasonable. This time, I booked the same Mehood Lestie for convenience as I was transferring from a train to a flight the next day. Overall, it was good. Initially, I was given a room that smelled of smoke, but after a quick call, they promptly moved me to another room. The breakfast spread was extensive. To my surprise, I even caught a sunrise from my room the next morning. However, one thing to note is that some room types have steps inside, which made me a bit nervous, fearing I might trip during the night. Luckily, that didn't happen."

Specifically, the hairdryer could be upgraded; the old model has terrible airflow, it takes ages to dry my hair, and I had to wait for it to air dry before I could sleep. For a room that costs around 1500 a night, there's definitely room for improvement in many areas. The mattress wasn't very comfortable either. Parking at the entrance was quite convenient, and the hotel lobby looks grand and stylish. Breakfast was also good with a wide variety of options. I'd suggest improving the small details."

"First of all, I am very grateful to the hotel for upgrading me to a business room type for free because they had available rooms. The communication was very smooth. I have always chosen Dushanzi Hotel in the past, and the service was pretty good. In a word, I am quite satisfied. Regarding this stay, I would like to make two suggestions: the first is about the hotel's free items. I hope that all rooms can provide disposable toilet pads, instead of only providing them for deluxe rooms. I called and promised to give two, but when they knocked on the door, only one was delivered and they said that we generally do not provide them. I think that as the customer service department of Dushanzi Hotel, they should not limit themselves to one or two toilet pads; the second is about the 48-person buffet breakfast. I went downstairs to eat at 9 o'clock, and the physical sensation was really bad. Eighty percent of the hot dishes and buns were all cold, and only the sausages were heated. I think that as a hotel, no matter how many people stay, at least the meals should provide statistical standards. The hot dishes and buns were all cold in the middle of winter. I don't know if they are reluctant to turn on the electric heating to keep warm or for some other reason. I hope the hotel manager can see the above two points and make quick rectifications. I also hope that the hotel will get better and better!"

Was told by the staff that I could only come back later to try for a different room. When I got back, I still received a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. While the photos show a window, it just a fake one, leading to what looks like a fire escape. Only complaint regarding the window was that it lead to poor ventilation. So my room smelt of cigarette smoke for days."

I could even have a coffee in the lobby before heading out in the morning; the staff were all very welcoming. For this price, staying at a hotel like this feels like great value."

"The pickup service is supposed to have the driver pick up the guests, not the other way around where guests have to find the driver for their convenience! When my delivery arrived, the front desk wouldn't even swipe the elevator card for the delivery person, making me go down to get it myself?! The service is absolutely terrible! The faucet in the room had a pathetic trickle of water. The bath towels and hand towels were completely worn out and ragged! And the showerhead in the bathroom was broken!"
