We had a great stay, the room was clean and spacious with a modern bathroom.. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool. The food wasn’t great though and expensive for small portions.

Had the most wonderful stay at a hotel at Pan Pacific Tianjin in recent years, largely thanks to the warm hospitality of all front desk staff who were warm, welcoming and very helpful. I had a headache and as a foreigner, could not order painkillers via delivery and Leila from the front desk was really nice to help me out with it. Upon check out, the front desk staff were also all friendly and sweet (I forgot her name). I accidentally left my outerwear behind and the concierge was really helpful to help me retrieve and send it to my friend's hotel for me. It was a solo trip and witnessing such warmth and kindness overseas really made my trip memorable and I would like to thank all the staff! :) Location is perfect, just across the street from the river, and about a 10-15 minute walk from Tianjin Eye. Room is spacious and clean too. Only small room for improvement is if the ventilation can be better as there was a bit of smoke smell for a non-smoking room. But overall, Pan Pac Tianjin is a hotel I'll return to stay if I ever visit Tianjin again.

Stayed in a three bedroom apartment with family and friends. Location wise, it is good. Literally just next door you can find a decent Japanese Izakaya (居酒屋）and a respectable Cantonese restaurant. A short drive will take you to various malls. attractions and restaurants. The apartment was well stuffed. What one needs are all there. As the property is not new, there are wears-and-tears, not crumbling but..... Front desk service staff, breakfast staff and cleaning staff are all up to par. Friendly, warm and efficient. Breakfast is ok, nothing to shout about but sufficient. Cost wise, it is good value for money. A major downside of our stay was the jacuzzi was under maintenance, thus depriving the kids of some recreational fun. A slight hiccup was one of the three treadmills was down for the whole duration of our stay, depriving us of a friendly competition. Overall, a pleasant enough stay.

The beautiful lady Gao is very enthusiastic in her service. She answered all questions and immediately brought two bottles of water when she saw that we were thirsty. She is very enthusiastic. It was fun to take the children with us. We came at the end of November. The children soaked in the outdoor hot spring for a long time. It was very cold outside but warmed up as soon as they got into the water. The water quality was also very good. The sun was shining and the wind blew. A lot of hair seeds were blown down and floated on the water. I think it’s okay. Outdoor hot springs are normal, unless there are fake trees next to them, then there is no meaning of being outdoors. We went out to eat in the evening and returned to the hotel. We put water in the private hot spring and soaked for an hour with watermelon, and then had a good sleep. It was really good.

The layout of the room strikes with its design and individuality, everything is thought out to the smallest detail, modern appliances and other equipment, excellent care cosmetics in the room, brilliant panoramic view, etc. will satisfy the taste of the most demanding and refined guest. Special compliments to the hotel's Chef, the food is very tasty, beautifully presented. The location of the hotel is ideal for those who want to explore the city, all attractions are within walking distance. I am grateful to the hotel for a pleasant stay on holidays and recommend it to all who prefer a refined, comfortable and professional level of service!

Overall very nice stay and great staff. The room didn’t have working air conditioning, so the first night’s sleep was not comfortable. They brought me a fan for the second night and that helped a lot.

This should be the previous Country Garden Phoenix Hotel. I have lived there at that time. I didn’t expect to book it again this time.
