The hotel is conveniently located among many of the city’s most popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area on foot. Although the staff were not very talkative, they were incredibly helpful and always willing to assist us whenever needed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We especially loved the traditional architecture, which added a unique charm to our stay and made the experience feel much more authentic. Definitely worth trying if you’d like to experience a classic local-style accommodation.

This is one of the hotels I would highly recommend for travelers who enjoy shopping and exploring the city on foot. It is only a 9-minute walk from the Shuncheng Shopping District and about 15–20 minutes from Kunming Old Street, including the famous ”Paper-Thin Building.” Compared to hotels located directly within the Kunming Old Street area, this hotel offers easier access by Didi, as the old town is often affected by heavy traffic and traffic-control measures. The location strikes a good balance between convenience and accessibility. The rooms are spacious, and access to the guest floors is restricted to room key card holders, which enhances security and prevents unauthorized access. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the robotic assistant that delivers items to guest rooms is a nice modern touch. Overall, the room rates offer excellent value considering the hotel's facilities, service, and location. The stay would be even better if the rooms were equipped with fridge (we were there during summer) and smart controls for features such as the curtains and air conditioning. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kunming.

Highly recommended hotel with very caring staff. I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect, including the location, cleanliness, service, and facilities. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. She kindly showed me the way to the famous Starlight Market, which is very near the hotel, making it very easy to visit. What impressed me most was the staff’s honesty and support. I forgot my facewash, which I had brought from my country, and the hotel staff helped send it to me by parcel. I really appreciated this thoughtful help. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I strongly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel room! The river view room offered a stunning panorama of the Mekong River and the Starlight Night Market. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always greeting me warmly and recommending local specialties and attractions. The hotel's location is fantastic, with the Starlight Night Market just a short walk away. The room itself was clean, tidy, and comfortable. They even provided complimentary Dai ethnic costumes for guests to take beautiful photos, and the bathroom amenities included makeup remover, facial cleanser, and body lotion for free use. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Xishuangbanna!

The owner gave us a free room upgrade. The room was very spacious, equipped with both a heater and a cooler. The owner waited for our van to arrive, greeted us by the roadside, and was ready with umbrellas because of the light drizzle. He then guided us straight into the hotel walkway. It is only a 30-meter walk from the Didi drop-off point. He served us hot tea, oranges, and Chinese tea to help ease our mountain sickness. He always asked if we needed anything.The interior design is traditional. The building has 3 floors, and you can carry your bags up the stairs. It is not too high, even though there is no elevator. The view from the rooftop is very classic, looking just like a scene from an ancient Chinese drama, with a beautiful view of the mountains. It is also within walking distance (just 100 meters) to halal restaurants and the Lijiang Ancient City North Gate. Free laundry service is available.

I absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lijiang. Although the hotel is located a little outside the Lijiang Old Town, it is still very convenient and only a short distance away. I would give the staff 10 stars if I could. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. They assisted us with carrying our luggage up and down, recommended local attractions, and even gave us small farewell gifts when we checked out. One thing I will never forget is how they helped us order food delivery when we needed it. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly special. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Lijiang.

Fabulous hotel. Stylish room with high standard amenities in the room. Great shampoo! It's a bit hard to find but we managed to get a Didi from the high speed railway station for 32 RMB. There is an elevator inside the 99Y clothes store that brings you to the 4th floor. A woman in a very simple room will give you your key. The hotel seems to have a different name in English: Aina Hotel. Regardless, it isn't so easy to find for an English speaker. The room is spacious and cosy. Comfortable bedding. Very well designed sitting area. Ceinling fan and Air-conditioning. Large flat screen TV. I loved the teapot and cup set. The hotel gives a nice tea and honey as a free gift. We weren't disturbed by noise despite it being in a popular tourist area. Everything is close by too. Fun to visit the park along the river. We went 2 nights there. I highly recommend.

The robot is very cute, the hotel is just renovated, very new and clean, the room has no taste, and the breakfast is given for free. The breakfast is delicious. The fruit shop and bakery downstairs are also very convenient.

Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Location-wise, it couldn’t be more perfect. Being situated right within Lijiang Old Town made it easy for us to explore the surroundings, enjoy local food, and soak in the culture without needing to travel far. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax—especially important when traveling with family. Everything was well-maintained, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is absolutely worth staying at, particularly for families traveling with young children or infants. It offers the right balance of comfort, convenience, and hospitality that makes a trip even more special.

The room was very clean, and they even upgraded us to a bigger room for free. The room was spacious, and the front desk staff was very patient and provided excellent service. It was a great stay with good value for money, and they also offer free airport transfers. They even called us in advance to remind us about our airport pick-up.
