The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, not noisy, and the bed and pillows are comfortable. It's fine for 1-2 nights. The bathroom doesn't have a separate shower, so the floor gets all wet after a shower 😕. There was no toilet paper, and you have to ask at reception for the TV remote! Next to the hotel, there are sports outlet stores from brands that left Russia, and lots of cafes. It's a lively neighborhood.

A wonderful stay with warm smiles and tasty breakfast. Wehad a great experience at Amber Hotel Cebu. The staff were all incredibly smiley and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was simple, but honestly still tasty and satisfying - just what we need to start the day right. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as expected. A couple of minor things to note: the hotel doesn’t provide slippers, so you might want to bring your own, and the shower area is a bit small, which can cause water to splash around. But these didn’t take away from the overall positive vibe of my stay. For the price, service, and location, I’d gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

I booked an overnight stay at Vivien Hotel, but unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The TV in my room was not functioning properly, so I called the front desk. Staff came to check and informed me it was a provider issue and that they would try to contact them. However, by 10 PM, there were no updates — I only learned about the status when I followed up myself. No alternative solutions were offered, and I was simply advised to wait until morning. Unfortunately, the issue was still unresolved by the time I checked out. Additionally, the hotel only has three floors and no elevator, which may be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage. The lack of proactive communication and resolution made the overall stay frustrating.

This was my first time staying here, and I found it surprisingly clean for the price. However, the amenities were a bit of a letdown: the hot water pressure was low, I couldn't figure out how to operate the in-room safe, and the refrigerator was rather unremarkable. The only real perks were probably the automatic curtains and the power outlets with USB ports. The surrounding area was quite convenient, with money exchange services and convenience stores nearby. Access from the airport via Grab taxi was extremely cheap, costing less than 400 yen.

This hotel was a stopover before heading to the airport. Everything else was fine, apart from the front desk not being very helpful. The room was clean but had a strong bug spray smell. They offer airport shuttle service, but it's not on demand; the timings are 6 AM, 10 AM, and 12 PM. Make sure to plan accordingly.

I went there twice because I really enjoyed the hot, high-pressure shower the first time. In my first room, there were a lot of insects, but in the second one on the same floor, there were none. Maybe it was just that one particular room. Not all rooms have a nice view; some windows look out onto a wall just a meter away.

Exceeded expectations. Will book again Clean new great staff expect to pay no more than 300 pesos to airport using grab. It's advertised they have no hot water. Not true we had very hot hot water.

It was on the spot booking and I came across with ABC Plus Hotel. Kuya guide me to their front desk it was on 6th floor. I was greeted with smiles and they are so welcoming. When I reached the room, everything was new and clean. It was excellent for solo travelers. And I got myself a city view. All in all it was a relaxing stay. Wont be my last for sure. Thank you for the free coffee mug. Appreciate it 🫶🏻

There are no pajamas, and while there's no hot water in the room, there are instant coffee packets and such. You'll need to go out into the hallway to get hot or cold water. There's no hairdryer or toothbrush in the room either, but you can get them at the reception if you ask. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, so I adjusted it to a lower setting myself. The water pressure in the shower was good enough; for a budget hotel abroad, I'd say it was satisfactory overall.

Llugares1661Good hotel. we had the misfortune of staying on the same floor with a group of Chinese tourists, they staeted shouting at 7 in the morning in the corridor. The staff intervened promptly. Breakfast is decent forea few days trip, the bacon seems cooked in batches and reheated when needed, so it's too dry and not how it should be. The swimming pool is decent, you get sunshine between 10 am and 2 pm, then there is the shades of the building.

BBoris AtamanenkoIt's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.

Great
GGuest Uservery nice small hotel (positioned as a boutique). nice food. prices are slightly higher than we say in town, but not strongly. cleaning, service and so on. There is a small but very beautiful reef with a bunch of turtles living there (truly entering water is not super, but there is everywhere so) It is necessary to mention: 1. in the shower in the room on the 2nd floor Well very weak water pressure, Well just a thin string (and cold and hot) 2. Far from the airport (but good places on Sebu always like this:() Thanks to host of hotel Mike for the great time and attention to guests! :)

KK.G.M.We loved staying in this location. Our room was right on the water, giving some breathtaking views morning and night. Lots of storage space and big bathroom. The hotel has a great diving center that also rents all kinds of snorkeling equipment too until later hours. Pool was clean and there was even a tipsy bar within it. Our only issue was very low water pressure in the shower which made washing long hair ia bit challenging. While you are away from the “mail” street in town, walk us about 8 min and there are few other hotels/ restaurants and activity companies located right next to hotel entrance

JJessa LeopardasI loved my room. It was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The shower had great hot water and strong pressure, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the AC worked well. Most of the staff were attentive and helpful, except at the front desk, which was disappointing. Check-in was at 2 pm. Instead of waiting in the lobby, I let them know I would be at the café and asked to be informed once my room was ready. However, even after 2 pm, I had to return to the lobby myself and still wait before the room was given to me. During check-out, I checked out early and was told to take a seat while they processed my deposit. I waited 30 minutes, and if I hadn’t followed up again, I believe I would have waited even longer as they seemed to have completely forgotten I was waiting. Aside from these front desk issues, the rest of my stay was terrific.

Amazing
AAh youngIf you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this place is truly a hidden paradise. The lush green lawns and vibrant flowers set the perfect tone, while the endless ocean view from every corner offers a sense of calm and tranquility. Each chair around the property gives you a unique perspective whether it’s the towering clouds, Cebu Island in the distance, or the magical sunset painting the sky with warm, rainbow-like hues. When night falls, the forest comes alive with fireflies, casting tiny glowing lights that feel like nature’s own fairytale. It’s a sight I’ll never forget. The food here is gut! You can enjoy both Filipino and German home-cooked dishes, and if you’re here, don’t miss the mashed potatoes and the deep-fried pork stuffed with cheese,,it’s absolutely delicious! What really made this place unforgettable was Joachim, the host. With years of diving experience (more than my age), he helped me overcome my fear of the underwater world. As a beginner, I was nervous, but he is calm and professional guidance made me feel safe and allowed me to experience a whole new world beneath the surface. You can even meet turtles while diving! With various dive spots surrounding the island, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The staff, including Jessel and Luci, were incredibly friendly and welcoming! This little village became a sanctuary where I could truly unwind and connect with nature. You won’t need music here. The harmony of the wind, waves, and birds is all you need. It’s pure, calming bliss. > The Wi-Fi is good as well, and there are universal power outlets for your convenience > You can easily walk to a nearby lighthouse, discover another quiet white beach, or even play or watching basketball or beach volleyball at the village court > There’s no 7-11(convenience stores) on Cabilao Island, so I recommend bringing the necessary things in advance
