Nestled within the ancient walls of the Chengde Mountain Resort, this hotel truly embodies a profound sense of history. Its architectural design beautifully replicates a classical Chinese imperial garden, offering a serene and picturesque environment. A delightful highlight is the opportunity to spot sika deer and various birds right from your bed, making it an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday or exploring the resort. However, it's a pity that the interior layout and facilities feel quite dated. The bed was also rather small, and the linens were uncomfortable, with the duvet being noticeably thin. On a positive note, the bathroom lighting was excellent. However, adopting energy-saving light sources would not only be more eco-friendly but also help reduce heat emission.

The hotel's main entrance is directly opposite Hengshui Station, making it arguably the closest and largest hotel in the vicinity. You just walk across the plaza after exiting the station. Its location couldn't be more convenient – a solid 7 out of 5 stars for accessibility! For the price, I honestly expected a very basic stay, but was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. The facilities, amenities, and room size are definitely comparable to a 4-star hotel. My room had some noise from next door, so I asked a staff member if I could move, and to my delight, they readily accommodated my request. Breakfast was also a highlight. For a hotel of this category, the variety far exceeded my expectations. They offered a wide range of options, from Western choices like toast, jam, and coffee, to Chinese staples like noodles, wontons, and various hot dishes. They even had unique items like fried lychee balls and chicken nuggets. The spread truly rivaled that of a 4-star hotel! All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely be back.

I came here to experience the hotel because it was newly opened. Indeed, all the facilities and equipment are quite new. The room is equipped with a sofa bed, the screen is also movable, there is a small bar and tableware, and there is a quilt in the cabinet. It is very suitable for family travel. At the beginning, I felt that except for the cold attitude of the front desk, I was quite satisfied with everything else. We just arrived at the room. Fruits were delivered right after. As a result, when I took a shower at night, I found that the hot water was very small and I couldn’t take a shower at all. I could only call the front desk. The solution given by the front desk was to change rooms. Because there were a lot of luggage and it was late, I didn’t want to change rooms, so I asked the engineering to repair it. But they still asked to change rooms. Okay, then change rooms. We asked the staff to go to the room to check whether the hot water was normal. As a result, the staff did not check and came directly to our room to let us change. We asked again to check, and the staff went to check. The result was also broken. If we didn’t check it, wouldn’t we go there directly? ? ? ? Very speechless. Later, we changed our room to the 7th floor and checked that the hot water was normal. After we moved our luggage over, we looked at the bedding, and it turned out to be very dirty. There was a little garbage under the pillow. It was outrageous!!! We asked the front desk to come again, and they asked us to change rooms. Let's change, and asked her to check the room first. I really didn't want to bother, but the attitude was not good, and asked us to check it ourselves. I was very tired, so I asked my boyfriend to check it. The quilt was dirty, okay. Dirty. I said, then change the quilt for us. The staff asked us to pick up the quilt ourselves. This was the first time I encountered such a situation, and I was shocked. Okay, okay, I just want to take a shower and go to bed. It's really not as good as the attitude of the Hanting Hotel we stayed in the day before. The cleaning of the second day was OK.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations with its outstanding service and comfortable accommodations. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.

Facilities: Well-appointed. The restaurant offered a complimentary buffet breakfast for two, and with dining options like Niu Jiao and Yibin Restaurant conveniently located downstairs, meals were very convenient. Cleanliness: Spotless and impeccably tidy. Ambiance: Quiet with excellent soundproofing. The rooms were spacious, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Service: The front desk service was excellent. The friendly staff, particularly a lovely lady, even allowed for an early check-in based on room availability and offered a complimentary room upgrade, which I was thrilled about! ☺️ Hot Spring: The complimentary hot spring ticket included in my package offered a fantastic experience. The environment was comfortable, and visiting during off-peak hours (Sunday to Monday) meant fewer crowds, allowing me to enjoy the pools almost exclusively. It was truly wonderful! ❤️

Hotel is close to the beach and staff are helpful but the carpet feels dirty on my feet and there were some yellow spatter marks on the walls in the bathroom. The AC had a hard time getting below 24 so I definitely woke up sweating a few times but they came and looked at it the second day and it was slightly better down to 22. The view and room were nice I appreciated the sofa/ living area but the couch did have several stains. The hotel bar /cafe didn’t have many food options but drinks were pretty good. Breakfast was good and had many options.

This hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right near the ski slopes, saving us the hassle of commuting back and forth. The room was spacious and bright, cozily furnished, and fully equipped, with good heating that wasn't dry. The restaurant food was delicious, especially the hot noodle soup for breakfast – it was incredibly comforting after a ski session. The front desk even helped us book ski equipment, which was super convenient. In the evenings, we could relax with friends over tea in the hotel's lounge area, creating a very laid-back atmosphere. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone coming for a ski trip!

An Unexpectedly Comfortable Stay! My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was exceptionally satisfying! The hotel boasts an excellent location, with convenient transportation access, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately impressed by the warm atmosphere and friendly service. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient, quickly handling my check-in. The room was spacious and bright, with plush, comfortable bedding. The 'Garden Sleep System' bed, in particular, ensured I had a wonderful night's sleep. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail truly stood out. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, combining both Western and Chinese dishes. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted delicious. The hotel also features a well-equipped fitness center and business center, perfectly meeting all my needs. What truly stood out was the professionalism of the hotel's service team. Their dedication and thoughtfulness were evident in every interaction, from housekeeping to concierge services. It offers outstanding value for money, making it an excellent choice for any trip! I will definitely choose Hilton Garden Inn again for my next visit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Service, staff and price…. Everything is perfect ! I’ve stayed at this wonderful hotel for four days and been deeply impressed by the hospitality and quality of the service the hotel has offered . Squeaky clean from inside out and housekeepers super helpful and accommodating! I will definitely come back in the future and recommend it to my friends coming to Shijiazhuang, China. If I have to say anything needing improvement , I’d like to suggest that the hotel management be a little tougher on the guests half naked in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet. I understand they might just come out it the cozy and hot Sauna. However , public decency also needs to be observed and displayed . By the way, I made a video clip on the half-naked male guest in the restaurant and the hotel employee standing on his side with a shirt in hands trying to convince the man to put it on . After posting it onto TikTok , it has more than 5000 views in two hours worldwide !
