I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. I was recommended to stay at Mercure hotel by a family member. The hotel location was good and easy to find. Upon arrival, I was welcomed at reception, checked in and given all important info. There was a wedding at the hotel grounds. The first issue we encountered was soon after we left reception. One of the doors required you to swipe the key card to access the hallway where the rooms were located. The door would not open even after we tried using 8 different key cards. Another couple also tried to use their 4 key cards but it would not open so we were stuck there. The receptionist finally showed up and opened the door. We booked 3 rooms in total... My room looked well organised and tidy but the bathroom was not clean!! There was lots of hair on the bathroom floor and some grime/lime scale in the corners of the bathtub. In addition, the bathroom did not have a Toilet Brush. I went to the 2nd room we booked. That room also did not have a toilet brush. The window did not open!! The hotel had the audacity to put a warning note on the window stating that the window does not open. Instead of fixing the window to make sure that guests have a window that opens especially now since it is summer and quite hot. I went to the 3rd room we booked. That room also did not have a toilet brush. So all 3 rooms we booked had no toilet brushes!! The major issue in the room was the toilet was not flushing. The issues with the hotel rooms are all petty issues that should never happen in a 4 or 5 star hotel. It was quite dissapointing because we had issues right from the start before we even entered the rooms when the door was jammed. In addition, the hotel did not have any elevators which is a major disadvantage for people who are disabled or people who have issues with walking. The only highlight we have of the hotel is the buffet breakfast. There was a wide variety of hot and cold food available plus drinks. Breakfast was and the service was quite good.

Staff are lovely ..beds really comfy ..sadly aircon wasn’t working but fans supplied were adequate. The bar area is a bit scruffy and also our room window was in desperate need of a clean in the outside …my phone presumed my lens needed cleaning !!!

Excellent little hotel. Right in the centre of town and a short walk to the ACC. Bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. Overall and excellent option and reasonably priced. Would stay again

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and you cannot beat its location. Straight out of the train station, turn right, and it's there. 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants. Rooms are adequate size, fairly basic but perfectly acceptable for a one night stay. Bed was very comfy along with the pillows and bedding. Bar lacks any atmosphere which is a shame. Reception staff are always ready to give you a great welcome. Would recommend upgrading to get a St.George's view room.

Hotel was lovely really clean staff was nice. Breakfast was poor didn't keep it topped up with food then charged us£35 for a ABIT of pastry and hash brown and scrambled egg. Should of gone McDonald's over road. Apart from breakfast I can't knock it. Will stay again but not have breakfast

I always stay at Delta when I'm in Liverpool for business, but this time I booked too late and had to stay here. It's an Ascott group hotel, located on the main commercial street, and only a 5-minute walk from Lime Street Station. It's very quiet, and all the facilities are new, plus the rooms are quite spacious. The only minor drawback is that there's no restaurant, so no breakfast... For the past few days, I've had to make do with buying food from Lidl for breakfast. Oh, and by the way, a HeyTea actually opened right across from the hotel... seems like most of the customers are older Chinese women and international students. All in all, this hotel is really good.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Comfortable beds and a super bathroom with an amazing shower. Ate in both restaurants and really enjoyed our meals. Would definately recommend staying here!

Excellent welcome. No deposit required upon arrival. Friendly staff, especially Eddy at the reception. Free early check-in by 3 hours. Welcome drink offered. The room is clean and well-equipped (large TV, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, tea, water, mini-fridge, safe). Quiet AC. Good water pressure in the bathroom. Good soundproofing in the rooms. Bar located on the 1st floor. Paid parking (Paddington Village Multi-Storey Car Park) is a 3-minute walk away. I recommend this hotel.
