QQinshoudeyanjiThis is a great resort for families with kids, offering excellent service. I've tried both the buffet and the Chinese restaurant at the hotel, and the ambiance and food were both fantastic – great value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Haikou.

One thing to note is that the hotel shares the same lobby as Jun Hao hotel. On maps/ didi / food delivery (Mei Tuan), the system is only able to find Jun Hao hotel (and not Yun Duan). So just a tiny thing to note but not a big deal!

GGuest UserAbsolutely stunning! Facing the sea, it's incredibly refreshing and calming. Rongshanliao is Hainan's very own Dali! This hotel is also very Instagrammable and has a fresh, minimalist vibe. If I had to be nitpicky, I'd say the cleanliness could be a bit better. But I don't blame the owners; the beach is right outside, and with white floors, it's hard to keep it spotless every second. Perhaps they could consider putting a hose to rinse off sand right by the entrance?

GGuest UserI highly recommend this Intercity Hotel! As a brand under HUAZHU, the quality is consistently reliable. The room was spacious and bright, with convenient smart devices, soft bedding, and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in very quick. The breakfast was plentiful, and there's a free laundry room and gym, which is great for business travelers. Overall, it's clean, hygienic, and offers great value for money – a top choice at this price point. I'll definitely come back next time!

GGuest UserMy stay at The Ritz-Carlton Haikou was absolutely fantastic! The golf-view room offered expansive views, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. The bathroom with its double vanity and deep soaking tub was super relaxing. The Asprey amenities and the turndown service were delightful touches. Breakfast was abundant and featured local Hainanese specialties. The service was attentive and thoughtful; the concierge was proactive in assisting, and our butler was always available when needed. Overall, it felt luxurious and warm, truly enhancing the vacation experience. Nancy's service was particularly meticulous and proactive, providing guests with an excellent experience.

AAnonymous UserExcellent value for money! A special thank you to our butler, Fiona, who was incredibly attentive and thoughtful from check-in to check-out. She proactively helped us plan our itinerary and patiently responded to our needs late into the night. The room offered a stunning sea view, the bedding was comfortable, and the food was authentic. The Haikou Marriott Hotel is definitely a five-star establishment. It's conveniently located next to the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, which provides a steady stream of guests through various annual exhibitions. The hotel's decor is a sophisticated and tasteful 'New Chinese' style.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money; the rooms could easily compete with—or even surpass—those in five-star hotels. It's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Haikou, whether for leisure or business.
First, let's talk about the location, which is absolutely perfect. It's right in the Guomao CBD, directly opposite Friendship Sunshine City, next to Shangbang 百汇 City, and diagonally across from Guochao City. Dining, entertainment, and shopping are all just a short walk away, and it's convenient for getting anywhere in the city. While it can be a bit noisy, that's understandable for a city-center hotel, and the convenience more than makes up for it; the noise isn't a significant issue.
Next, the hotel's amenities. There are several restaurants offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea. You can also order room service, which is perfect if you're wary of unhealthy takeout, and the set meals are reasonably priced. Plus, there's a gym and a laundry room, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Parking is exceptionally convenient, with three underground levels of ample parking spaces, all free of charge.
Finally, the rooms. I stayed in a deluxe business room, which was spacious and featured clean, soft bedding. The voice-controlled 'Xiao Du' assistant was a nice touch and easy to use. My favorite feature, however, was the floor-to-ceiling windows, which give the room a chic urban vibe and offer a wonderful view of the city lights at night.

Llilin956111This apartment is located in a residential complex, about a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal. You can park in the underground garage for 7.5 yuan per day. It's on an upper floor, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room, making it very clean and convenient. A kitchen is also available. Overall, everything was great!

GGuest UserOk so this is another B&B home stay that I tried after staying for one night in an overpriced one next door. This is better price wise but much worse in terms of cleanliness and overall care for the place. My room had previous guests hair, plastic wrapping my, a used juice bottle in the fridge and no toilet paper. And also overall for a new place, it looked very run down. I cut my stay short as a result.
This stretch of the beach is nice and all these home stays are decent accommodations for like a B&B or Homestay style. Same issues - village is quiet during the hot day and literally nothing to do as there are no swimming pools or gyms or spas or anything really around. Street stalls open in the evening when Sun comes down. This place is also overpriced although much less so than the previous one. Sgd68/night for a room with direct ocean view. Much better than Sgd125/night one next door.
Overall recommendation - unless u are Chinese or speak fluent Chinese and don’t mind staying in the room all day reading or doing nothing, while watching the ocean, don’t recommend to stay here.
I got a good deal at Holidays Inn nearby for sgd50/night with good breakfast included top floor. Not luxurious and needs some maintenance too, but at least has a gym, a restaurant, and a sky pool.
Overall disappointing experience @ this rongshangliao village.
