Guest UserThis was my second stay at Z奢 in Haikou, and the hotel staff were as welcoming as ever. From helping with table reservations, luggage assistance, arranging for forgotten items to be sent back, to complimentary souvenirs, and the children's center's attention to kids – you can really feel the vacation and family-friendly hotel atmosphere. Oh, and the roujiamo at breakfast was delicious! A big thank you to Lina, Wang Nan, and Hailey for their excellent care.

Facilities: The hotel is very new and has all the necessary amenities. There's a washing machine, gym, and restaurant. The environment is excellent, tastefully decorated in a vintage and Nanyang style. The bedding is very comfortable; the mattress is just right, not too soft or too hard. Each bed comes with two types of pillows, so guests who prefer either soft or firm pillows will find one that suits them – that's a huge plus! The 4th-floor restaurant also serves great food, making it possible to spend the entire day at the hotel without needing to go out.
Cleanliness: All tables in the room, including those in the bathroom, were very clean.
Service: The front desk staff wasn't overly enthusiastic, but they did handle everything I needed them to, so it was fine. The airport transfer driver was nice and quite chatty.
Airport pick-up/drop-off service: Having the airport transfer service was truly hassle-free, and the vehicles provided were new and comfortable.

The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the facilities are well-maintained. From the front desk staff to the housekeeping, executive lounge, and breakfast restaurant attendants, as well as the doormen and porters, everyone's service was superb and very attentive. A special shout-out to Yu Yuhuan at the front desk for her warm and professional service; she even gave a welcome gift to my child! While the dinner selection at the executive lounge isn't extensive, every dish was delicious. Plus, the sunset view from the 20th-floor terrace is absolutely stunning. The breakfast restaurant is spacious and not crowded, offering a wide variety of tasty Chinese and Western options that surpass many other hotels of the same star rating. The hotel also has plenty of free parking. In the evening, you can enjoy a lively stroll near Century Bridge. I will definitely choose to stay at The Westin Haikou again.

Landed in Haikou, and this was our first night in Hainan. The welcoming staff member was very polite and actively helped us with our luggage. Check-in was on the 43rd floor, in the clouds – and I have to say, the elevator was incredibly fast.
The driver told us the location is in Haikou's busiest downtown area, right across from MixC Mall, making dining and shopping super convenient.
The room was spacious with a pleasant view outside the window. The decor was British palace style, with full-length mirrors everywhere, perfect for girls to take OOTD photos. There was also a bathtub in the room, but we didn't use it. The pool was open until 10 PM, so we quickly went to experience it after 9. The water temperature was just right, and there was a lifeguard on duty the whole time. The only thing was that underwater visibility was a bit low at night. There was also a small sauna room.
Overall, I really liked it and would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Guest UserThe hotel's location and environment are excellent. Right across the street is a large shopping mall, which is super convenient. I really loved the decor and facilities. The room was spacious, on a high floor with large windows, offering great natural light and a fantastic view. My first impression upon entering was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, just like in the pictures. The 'super large bed' really *was* super large, haha! You could practically roll around on it, perfect for our family of four. The room amenities were comprehensive, including an AI voice assistant, a bathtub, and a smart toilet, which the kids especially enjoyed. If you're looking for a comfortable stay while visiting Haikou, I highly recommend this place.

🌻 I stayed at the Marriott Hotel for my vacation in Haikou. A butler proactively contacted me before check-in, and the check-in process was smooth upon arrival, with the staff introducing the hotel's services. The hotel's location is excellent, with a beach nearby and adjacent to the convention center. It's about 3 kilometers from the duty-free city, with a fixed shuttle service daily.
🌻 My room was on the 7th floor of the West Wing's executive level. The room was spacious, facing the sea with a balcony, offering panoramic views of the hotel. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, with stable water pressure and temperature, making for a comfortable shower experience. Toiletries were complete and of good quality. The 8-foot king bed ensured a good night's sleep. Housekeeping was good, and supplies were replenished promptly. Some of the electrical outlets in the room were a bit old.
🌻 The lobby is on the 3rd floor, and breakfast is served at the Western restaurant on the 1st floor from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The food variety was rich and delicious, featuring local delicacies and catering to international guests' tastes. The restaurant also provided baby cutlery. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants offer full-course meals.
🌻 The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including children's and adult swimming pools, and a natural hot spring. During the summer holiday, there were many children and various activities. Guests on the executive floor can enjoy executive benefits, such as afternoon tea from 2 PM to 5 PM at the executive lounge on the 8th floor, light snacks from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, and drinks served until 10 PM after dinner.

BaimaoxiaoxiPerhaps because I'd heard so many negative things about Hilton before, this stay at the Hilton Haikou far exceeded my expectations. So much so that we ended up buying the buffet dinner directly at the hotel and even went for drinks at the bar.
The check-in process was incredibly fast, and the lobby staff provided a seamless transition from the moment we stepped out of the car until we were escorted to the elevator, with three or four different employees involved. The service from the WeChat butler, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, and gym was all excellent. It really feels like this Hilton is very well-trained. The bedding was fantastic, comparable to what I've experienced at JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton, especially the down pillows – I was so pleased I wanted to buy some for home after sleeping on them.

Guest UserOk so this is another B&B home stay that I tried after staying for one night in an overpriced one next door. This is better price wise but much worse in terms of cleanliness and overall care for the place. My room had previous guests hair, plastic wrapping my, a used juice bottle in the fridge and no toilet paper. And also overall for a new place, it looked very run down. I cut my stay short as a result.
This stretch of the beach is nice and all these home stays are decent accommodations for like a B&B or Homestay style. Same issues - village is quiet during the hot day and literally nothing to do as there are no swimming pools or gyms or spas or anything really around. Street stalls open in the evening when Sun comes down. This place is also overpriced although much less so than the previous one. Sgd68/night for a room with direct ocean view. Much better than Sgd125/night one next door.
Overall recommendation - unless u are Chinese or speak fluent Chinese and don’t mind staying in the room all day reading or doing nothing, while watching the ocean, don’t recommend to stay here.
I got a good deal at Holidays Inn nearby for sgd50/night with good breakfast included top floor. Not luxurious and needs some maintenance too, but at least has a gym, a restaurant, and a sky pool.
Overall disappointing experience @ this rongshangliao village.
