QQingshouzhuCheck-in was a breeze! The front desk agent swiftly handled everything while explaining the hotel's amenities, all within two minutes. She even proactively asked about my invoice details. When I extended my stay the next day, the staff member on duty quickly processed it, updating my key card without needing me to re-verify anything. Check-out was just as smooth; the bill was clear, and my invoice was already prepared. I simply handed over my card and left. They even asked about my stay experience, which was a nice touch.

GGuest UserI originally chose this hotel because it was 'about to become a Fairmont,' and even though the sign outside no longer says that, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The hardware was particularly surprising: the hotel extensively uses carpeting, both in the rooms and public areas. Knowing that maintaining carpets in a high-humidity, high-salinity coastal area is extremely difficult (most seaside hotels opt for wood or tile floors â I still remember the indescribable smell at The Royal Begonia, a Luxury Collection Resort, Sanya), the carpet condition in my room this stay was excellent. It's clear they put a lot of effort into maintenance, especially for a hotel that's already nearly 20 years old (or even older?). Check-in was seamless (I didn't catch the name of the kind lady who helped me). There was also a follow-up call to the room after I settled in, which very few hotels do. While the hotel's pool isn't huge, it's very well-designed, encircling the garden with both deep and shallow areas. Seating is well-spaced out (unlike the packed rows at Sheraton, for instance), offering a genuine resort feel where guests can relax without disturbing each other. Swimming and sunbathing there were very pleasant. From the pool, you can walk out to the seaside boardwalk, which leads all the way down to Wuyuanhe National Wetland Park. It's perfect for an evening stroll or a morning workout. Coming back from a run along the beach in the morning and then soaking in the hot spring really brings on that holiday vibe. Even though it hasn't become a Fairmont yet, the hospitality lives up to the 'Royal Service' mentioned on the phone. Thank you for the hospitality, and special thanks to Megan for her thoughtful touch. For someone who loves carpets and a resort atmosphere, this is a place in Haikou worth relaxing at, and I'd definitely want to come back again.

From her pre-arrival communication (asking about special requests, sending a guide beforehand) to her assistance during our stay (helping with issues and coordinating a late check-out), she made us feel completely at home. I've only experienced this level of butler-like service when staying at B&Bs, but Jenny at Huacai truly provided a personal concierge experience. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive! đ
The complimentary travel photoshoot offered by the hotel was also excellent. First, the photographer's skill was top-notch; I was initially worried I wouldn't like any of the shots, but they turned out really well! Second, the two ladies at the studio were incredibly professional and provided great service, with no hard selling and clear, reasonable pricing. Experiencing the photoshoot on our last day before check-out was the perfect way to conclude our wonderful trip to Huacai.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful experience during my stay here. Every staff member I encountered was warm, friendly, and professional.
A special mention goes to the team at the Langham Club on Level 42 and the bar on Level 43. In particular, Amber was exceptionally hospitable throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to accommodate my special requests and ensure I felt well taken care of.
I am also incredibly grateful to Kevin, the intern at Level 1, who was an absolute lifesaver. He assisted me with my Taobao parcels, helped with my luggage, and even helped me make restaurant reservations when I was unable to do so without a local phone number. His willingness to help and positive attitude made a significant difference to my stay. So grateful to meet these friends during my stay in Langham Haikou.
The genuine hospitality and attentiveness shown by the team truly made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Thank you all for making my stay such a memorable one.

MMadeliliweiThe service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly friendly.
First, they upgraded our room upon check-in. When we noticed a strange noise from the air conditioning, they immediately sent a technician to fix it. They even offered to change our room if we weren't satisfied, which was very prompt.
Second, a package arrived at the smart locker before we checked in. The staff, upon learning this, informed us that the locker was quite far away and proactively went to retrieve it and deliver it to our room. That was incredibly thoughtful!
Third, even the cleaning staff were wonderful. They'd ask what you needed and were happy to help with any requests.
However, there are a few drawbacks:
First, there's no direct beach access from the hotel, nor is there a beach right across. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to it, with one side being rocky and the other being the sandy beach. I'd recommend taking a Didi (ride-sharing service) because it's too hot and tiring to walk.
Second, the hotel's recreational area isn't very large. While it's enough for younger kids, older children might find the facilities a bit limited.
Third, despite the cleaning lady's friendly attitude, the room wasn't as clean as it could be. I mentioned to her that there were ants on the floor, especially in areas that weren't mopped due to the humidity, which was quite noticeable.

GGuest UserThe Hilton Haikou, a long-standing brand for over a decade, boasts excellent and well-maintained facilities. The air conditioning is remarkably quiet, even surpassing many higher-end five-star hotelsâit's simply superb! The hotel's location on Binhai Avenue offers convenient access to transportation. The room included several useful packages, and the breakfast selection was very rich. The guest relations staff member was incredibly thoughtful, having adjusted the room temperature to the most comfortable setting even before check-in. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for leisure.

Upon arrival, the front desk staff were incredibly polite and friendly, and check-in was super efficient; there was no long wait, and they thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. The moment I walked into the room, I felt at ease. The entire place was spotless â not a speck of dust or stain on the floor, desk, or vanity. The bedding was crisp, fresh, and odorless, and the duvet was soft and cozy, making for a truly comfortable rest. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the hot water was consistent and plentiful. All the toiletries were well-stocked. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I barely heard any noise from the hallway or outside, which meant I could get a solid night's sleep after a busy day. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient for getting a taxi, dining out, or running errands. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The facilities are well-maintained; the air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly, and the stable internet speed made working a breeze. When I had a small request mid-stay, housekeeping responded quickly and the staff patiently helped resolve the issue. Compared to other hotels in the area, the value for money is outstanding, with no hidden fees. I'll definitely book here again for future business trips to this area and highly recommend it as a top choice for business travelers.

GGuest UserThis hotel left a deep impression on me. The location is excellent, the beach is downstairs, you can see the sea while sitting in the room, and it is very convenient to travel. The room is spacious and bright, with good lighting and comfortable bedding. The sanitation is first-class, and there will be a special person to clean every day. The service is considerate, and the staff will take the initiative to ask about needs. The price is reasonable and great value for money.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is very close to the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves in the room. When you lie on the bed, you can see the swimming pool, coconut trees, and the beach. I especially like the hot spring swimming pool here. I don't want to leave. I have lived here since 2002. It was very âaristocraticâ back then. Now there are more hotels on the west coast and fewer people here, which is exactly the advantage here. It is very quiet. You can be in a daze here and think about problems. There is no cafeteria here. It is perfect to go to the nearby Fushan Cafe for breakfast, and go to the nearby Sheraton for afternoon tea in the afternoon. Before and after dinner, walk along the wave line outside the hotel to the Sheraton.
It's not that you can't afford to stay at the Sheraton, but it's more cost-effective to watch the sea, listen to the sea and touch the sea here.
