"This is a decent, standard airport hotel, very close to the airport. They offer a shuttle bus every half hour, though you can actually walk to the terminal. There's also an outlet mall next door for shopping and dining. The facilities are relatively new and have all the necessary amenities. Most of the staff are dedicated and helpful, though a very small number had slightly poor attitudes, which I can understand if they were on a night shift. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff, who were very warm, hospitable, and went out of their way to help guests, even providing a charging cable to a guest next door, which wasn't even part of her job. There was a faint lingering smell of smoke in the room when I entered, but that's not the hotel's fault; it's due to a previous guest violating the no-smoking policy."

"This was by far the best stay I’ve ever had in Haikou.
First, the staff were absolutely amazing. I messaged the day before to ask if there was a cake shop nearby, since it was my wife’s birthday. When we arrived at the hotel, they not only provided a cake for us free of charge, but also upgraded our room to a top-floor sea view room—completely complimentary.
The room itself was spotless and beautiful. The swimming pool was a short walk from the hotel, but very nice, and the hot springs and fish spa were truly relaxing.
We also tried the buffet for just 198 RMB per person, and it was well worth it. The food was excellent—the sashimi was fresh, beer and wine were included, and the variety was broad. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Haikou."

"Pros: Service: I have to give a special shout-out to Bella Yu at the front desk – her service was truly impeccable! She proactively greeted me upon arrival, was incredibly gentle and kind, and checked me in very quickly. She also took the initiative to provide details about the elevators, breakfast, and parking. When I had questions later, she was patient and thorough, always thinking ahead and being thoughtful throughout my stay. Her professionalism and warmth really added a lot to the hotel experience. Location: It's close to Century Park and the Cloud Cave Library. Many restaurants and bars downstairs are open at night, perfect for a casual drink. Breakfast restaurant: It wasn't crowded, so no waiting in line. The food was decent, and the service was prompt and friendly. Cons: Guest room: The room had a musty smell and felt old."

- greenhouse effect from glass and heat made everywhere stuffy during daytime
- dusty aircon in room, needs servicing
protip: as it is scorching in Haikou, please request an extra aircon card from them when you check-in, so you can keep the aircon working to cool the room while you are away.

GGuest UserHygiene: The bath towels and hand towels were individually wrapped, completely easing any hygiene concerns.
Environment: The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Downstairs is a park with excellent greenery, and the surrounding area is very convenient.
Service: The staff were warm and thoughtful. They helped us upgrade our room type and were very responsive to all our requests. The robot delivery for items was also very quick. Oh, and the washing machine and dryer are fantastic for travelers – Atour really thinks of all the customer's needs. The pillows were the most comfortable out of the four hotels I stayed at on this trip; I even ordered some when I got back!

Check-in was very quick, and they patiently answered all my questions about my stay, even going out of their way to arrange a quiet room. They weren't dismissive or perfunctory at all. The staff member was down-to-earth and genuinely helpful, not stiff or formal. My overall stay experience was significantly improved by the thoughtful front desk service. The breakfast was good too.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this resort for 4 nights at the beginning of May while my kids (ages 9 and 11) were on school break. They loved it. They really enjoyed the pool, the springs and the breakfast and dinner buffets. The sushi restaurant is also good. The kids liked the slides and obstacle course in the pool area. There are so many springs here, with varying temperatures so you can choose to soak in cold ones or hot ones. And they are broken into regions (Asia, Europe, America, Africa). The service we received was great. Everyone was very helpful. Jordon in particular was very clear in communicating with me about what was included with our booking and how to access those items. There were a lot of other families at the resort since it was a holiday time but it was not too crowded. Would definitely recommend it to others. Close by is Mission Hills Centreville (retail shopping area), Feng Xiaogang Movie Town (featuring recreated old Chinese movie sets) and Splash City (a large water park). GGuest UserThis is a really comfortable hotel. Every time I visit Haikou, I make sure to stay here for a night. The main reason is their amazing 830-meter deep hot spring directly in the rooms – a soak there just melts away all the fatigue. The rooms are spacious and bright. Plus, the hotel is very close to the Qilou Old Street, just a short taxi ride (minimum fare). There's even an airport shuttle nearby. It's truly great.

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious with a beautiful view of the sea outside the window, offering a comfortable sight of the distant Century Bridge, which was rather spectacular.
Hygienics: The hotel is a bit old, but the basic cleanliness is acceptable and standard.
Staff: Polite and enthusiastic. When we arrived by taxi, the staff proactively opened the car door and handled our luggage. They did the same when we left. They greeted us politely, and because we entered and exited the hotel multiple times during our stay, the reception staff at each entrance would come forward to open the car door, greet us politely, and had a friendly attitude. They were all very dedicated.
Breakfast: It was quite rich. We had breakfast around 10:00 AM, and when food ran out, it was quickly replenished. The food was fresh and distinctive.
The host at the entrance, the one with the 'blessed' demeanor, saw children running and would politely tell them to slow down, then spread his arms to escort them from behind. The more efficient staff member enthusiastically showed us to our table and was eager to assist whenever we needed help. The staff all had smiles and high spirits. The auntie at the noodle station was polite in answering questions and even asked about our preferred toppings. The chef at the omelet station also greeted us politely.
Overall, many positives.
Drawback: The room's air conditioning wasn't cold enough. When the fan speed was at its highest, the noise was very loud. We later adjusted the fan speed to medium, which was barely acceptable but didn't affect our sleep.
I've written all this so that future guests can see a genuine review before checking in.

GGuest UserThe butler service from Alalei was absolutely fantastic. We arrived very early and were able to store our luggage at the front desk without checking in. The butler contacted me via WeChat and arranged for our bags to be sent to our room ahead of time, so we could check in by noon. Our room was even prepared with fruit and a welcome setup. Due to an unexpected matter, we had to leave a day early, and the butler was very proactive in helping us coordinate the arrangements. It was a very pleasant stay.
