Pet friendly Hotels in Haikou

My hotel room was clean, tidy, including the bathroom; the bed is comfortable and the A/C works beyond expectation. I needed a convenient place for a quick overnight stopover because I had to stay one night between my arrival at Haikou Int'l Airport and the departure for a place inland Hainan Province. The hotel provides complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, or the same to/from Meilan Railway Station. The hotel staff are not English proficient, but you can communicate through texting which has a machine translation capability. My airport pick-up was not done by the hotel, but well arranged by a pick-up van service that accommodated three other parties heading different hotels, I guess, so I can't complain; it was convenient. The hotel provides an airport drop-off also, but I didn't need it. The location of the hotel is on busy streets where you can find many things in walking distance, including a nearby KFC. The service, comfort and convenience were well worth its reasonable rate. I would come back, if I need a place for a stay near Meilan, Haikou area.

Perfect check-in experience! Kudos to the front desk staff, Hong - very friendly and efficient. The hotel has great amenities, including free mung bean sugar water and milk delivered to your room, robot delivery service is super convenient, and there's a full range of laundry and dry cleaning facilities. Opposite is People's Park, and it's only a 15-minute walk to the arcade old street. There are lots of nearby attractions, so it's totally worth the money!

Am really thankful that Boss will personally come out to the ticketing counter to pick me up with a buggy and even help me with my luggage . When checking out at 12 midnight he even helped with carrying my luggage down the stairs and send me back to ticketing counter to wait for my transport back to the airport ( I was in Transit layover for 11 hrs . Love that hotel is inside the movie town and right in front is a photography studio . It’s only RMB $100 for 4 photos ( +2) if you say you are guest in hotel . Make up , hair-do cheaongsan and shoes all included in RM$100. The hotel is clean and has whatever I need for a layover . Love the loft bed too ! Unique design , let me feel like I am walking down memory lane .

This was my third stay with this brand. The room was decent, though the bathroom had a slight odor. My elderly family member was staying in a separate room, and initially, our rooms were assigned quite far apart. The front desk immediately called us to offer a room change, which was very helpful. The young lady at the front desk provided excellent service. Even though it was busy, and the elevator was undergoing maintenance (causing a crowd at the front desk with some people complaining), the staff worked hard to resolve issues and greet everyone warmly. Their efforts are definitely commendable.

The B&B is at the very edge of the village. Because it is newly built and not yet complete, there are no food or supermarkets around. We booked this hotel for a sea view room. It cost over 400 in the off-season, which was not cost-effective. The room had a nice sea view. We lived on the fourth floor. The elevator broke down on the night of check-in, so we had to take the stairs every time. The elevator was still not repaired when we left the hotel the next morning. When we went downstairs at 7 a.m., there was no one at the lobby counter. I called the boss, and someone came after 8 a.m. to deliver soup noodles for breakfast, saying it was a local specialty. The room only included breakfast for two people, and if there were more people, they had to pay an extra 20 yuan per person. It is particularly worth mentioning that there were no stools in the room, so we had to stand to eat. Later, I asked the boss to bring stools into the room. In order to save space, the hotel placed the washbasin next to the bed, which looked okay, but every time I washed my hands, the water made a loud noise, and it was right next to the bed, disturbing the rest of the person sleeping. If you just want to see the sea and don't care about other things, you can stay here. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I still hope that the hotel will become more and more perfect.

Beyond the food, the area offers a wonderful glimpse into local life. It’s a great spot for anyone keen to explore and understand a different side of China. The people are kind, humble, and welcoming, adding warmth to the experience. The weather was cooler than I expected—around 20°C—but pleasantly so. All in all, a memorable and flavourful stay.

The room is nice, right next to Meilan Airport. I had a flight the next morning, and I saw that there was a pick-up service, so I chose it decisively. I was very satisfied with the result. The service at the front desk was very good and enthusiastic, and the lobby was very clean and tidy. We stayed on the second floor, and the room was also good. It was super suitable for a few hours of rest. There were many restaurants and barbecue restaurants downstairs, so you don't have to worry about eating. The minibus at the pick-up station was picking up and dropping off people all the way, but I was satisfied with the appearance and the room of the hotel I chose. If you are waiting for a flight, I recommend it, it's pretty good.
