"The front desk lady was friendly, attentive, and responsible—excellent! The room was great, well-equipped, and everything was new. The bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I was very satisfied. You can park near the entrance, and just scan a QR code at the front desk when you leave. It's close to the Meilan Airport High-Speed Rail Station, and they offer free shuttle service, which only takes a few minutes. It's incredibly convenient and a highly recommended hotel. This trip was totally worth it!"

"Although being based in a local, nondescript neighborhood, the Vienna hotel is excellent value for money and offers a stay not unlike higher priced options. It's quite close to the airport but too far to walk, you can take a didi car for 20rmb and they'll take you back to the airport free of charge when it's time to go. The bed, the pillows, the linen, wow, these are some of the best I've experienced. The shower and bathroom nice and well thought out. I was given a quiet corner room which I was grateful for. Keep in mind though that you will hear aircraft most of the day, but not to much in the early morning hours. I think the only reason to critique was that there was no fridge in the room. No worries, I lived without it. You can call lots of food options in from outside on an app, or just walk a few blocks from the hotel and turn right. The young staff were very helpful and always sought to please. There's a laundry too and you can do a wash and dry, they'll assist with the Chinese language machine. All in all a very comfortable stay with a good breakfast in the morning. Thank you to all the helpful and smiling staff."

"The room was generally clean and tidy, but the 'Executive Sea View Bayfront' room we booked didn't offer any particularly special views. The hotel's location is good, very close to the Cloudscape Library, making it nice for a run or bike ride along the way. The executive lounge service was excellent. However, the hotel doesn't have a heated pool, and the toilet in the room isn't smart, so some details are lacking. The bed was also a bit small. The hotel breakfast was decent overall; it was standard, not overly lavish, but had all the essentials."

"I came to Haikou to relax and specifically booked a seaview room at the InterContinental Hotel for one night. Overall, it was a very impressive and satisfying stay. The day before my arrival, the hotel called me to inquire about my check-in time and room type preferences, which was a much better experience than some hotels that assign you a bad room upon check-in. Upon arrival, the front desk staff warmly processed my check-in and clearly directed me to the restaurants and other facilities without any sign of impatience. The entire lobby was very grand, with both the decor and the views being very well-designed. The room itself was a pleasant surprise; it was spacious, and the decor was excellent. Most importantly, the view was absolutely incredible! Opening the balcony door revealed a vast ocean view, and watching the sunset in the evening was truly spectacular. The hotel's swimming pool is also exceptionally well-built, giving off a true resort vibe. The hotel's service is genuinely top-notch. As I mentioned, they called before check-in and also followed up with a call after check-in to ask about my experience. When I left, I accidentally left something in the room, and the hotel called to inform me, kept it safe, and sent it to the concierge. Both online and in-person, their tone was consistently respectful and enthusiastic. Now, let's talk about the downsides. Firstly, the room didn't have a bathtub, which was a bit disappointing, especially considering the price point and room type. Most five-star hotels at this level typically include a bathtub, but it was missing in my room. Secondly, regarding the hotel's speaker system: I had asked on Trip.com beforehand if the room had speakers, and their reply was no. However, when I arrived, I found that it did (?). The sound quality of the speakers was rather mediocre, which wasn't ideal for someone like me who enjoys listening to music. Overall, InterContinental Haikou is a hotel with excellent service, great value for money, and impressive decor and design. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to small details like the speakers, as it would greatly enhance guests' happiness. I look forward to more pleasant surprises on my next visit."

"I really appreciated the hotel-arranged pickup and drop-off service, which made a short stay very easy. The rooms are basic, with no bum gun or hand bidet, and the shower and toilet aren’t separated, but the Wi-Fi was decent and the price point is unbeatable if you just need a place to rest for a few hours. There’s plenty of nearby street food, and I’d especially recommend Wallace Chicken and Burger about 100 meters from the hotel, which was excellent."

"I stayed at the this Haikou Homestay for about 3 weeks. I came back here during Chinese New year instead of staying in Sanya. The location is quiet, and easy walking distance to eateries, and shopping mall. I like the single room with the balcony the best, and the dining/ living room and the kitchen add to the convenience. The atmosphere is like home. The lady manager is especially helpful and always there to answer questions. I like her very much. I definitely recommend this homestay, and will come back when I visit Haikou again!"

"The room looks exactly like the pictures, truly living up to its 'Sunset Stroll' name. We booked the Sunset Stroll room, and sitting inside watching the sea was incredibly beautiful. Plus, the room gets wonderfully warm from the sun during the day. It's also super close to the beach; you're basically there the moment you step out. Our housekeeper provided exceptional service, helping with our luggage and parking the car. I even left my phone on a chair by the door, and the staff not only found it but also charged it for me – that was incredibly thoughtful. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir gift to take home to our family. Even though they were just snacks, you could tell how much heart the owners put into it. For afternoon tea, I chose hot tea and was pleasantly surprised it was warm ginger tea. I truly commend this place; they are very attentive. Friends visiting Haikou definitely shouldn't miss this – highly recommended! It's the front-row house for sea views, the closest to the ocean, truly one of a kind."

"We had a 16-hour layover in Haikou, Hainan, and chose this hotel because it’s conveniently located near both the airport and the heart of the city. There were many late night restaurants nearby as well. The front desk staff—both the midnight and day shift ladies on July 31st—were incredibly helpful and friendly. We arrived around 12:30 AM, and knowing the weather was hot, the front desk lady had thoughtfully cooled down our room before we arrived. It was the first time I’ve experienced such a personal touch, and it really made an impression. Beyond the excellent service, the room was clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. In the morning, we visited Qilou Old Street, which was about a 25-minute drive away. The area was beautiful, and the food was delicious! We only had about 4 hours to explore, and we truly wished we could have stayed longer. Overall, the service at this hotel was top-notch. Highly recommended!"
