GGuest UserThe room is very clean, not crowded, with a collection of patterns and style. The windows are large and the view is good. There is a children's playground on the first floor of Building 2, which the children like. The breakfast is rich. Bird watching and scenic spot tickets are given, which is very cost-effective. Bird watching is worth going. The scenic spot rocking boat is worth a ride, 30 yuan/person. There are few people on the rainy Dragon Boat Festival, which is not bad. The hotel staff is enthusiastic. 🅿️ The parking lot is large and there is no parking fee. I will choose to stay in Manxinfu next time. Thank you for the careful and meticulous service of the hotel staff this time. GGuest UserThe room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.

PPinganshidaoI originally booked a Classic Room package. The front desk staff suggested upgrading to a Balcony Room, which is 30 square meters larger, for an additional 500 RMB. I took their advice, and after comparing, I think it was worth it because not only did I get more space, but also a large balcony and double breakfast. The room was high-ceilinged and cool, the air conditioning was comfortable, and the mattress was very pleasant. There were many books in the room to browse. The bathroom had a double vanity, but I was a little disappointed that not every sink had both hand soap and lotion. The left sink had hand soap, and the right one had lotion. So, if you wanted to wash your hands, you went to the left sink, and then to the right sink for lotion after washing. The two sinks were quite far apart with a large bathtub in the middle. I hope the hotel can be a bit more generous and provide both items at each sink, which would be much more convenient. From the moment I entered the hotel, the service felt like I was entering my own home. There were complimentary snacks, and the tea served was also good. All the staff greeted me with proactive smiles. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything was high quality, though there's room for improvement with the Western pastries. This trip, I specifically went for the noodles at Su Mian Fang. The service and taste were absolutely incredible, though the price was a bit on the high side. I wanted to eat them again. I'm not sure if it's because I rarely eat Su noodles and am therefore less knowledgeable, or if they truly are considered a delicacy among Suzhou noodles. Additionally, the hotel's environment is very Suzhou-like, and it's located by the lake in front of the Gate of the Orient.

GGloria60Highly recommended! This is a fantastic B&B/hotel, especially perfect for families traveling with children. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful, with four large trees that bring so much life and vibrancy to the entire property. My kids had an amazing time playing in the yard! The staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and attentive. When we checked out, they even helped us carry our luggage to the parking lot – huge thanks to them! 🙏 Also, the coffee is excellent. Over my two-day stay, I tried the iced Americano, iced latte, and hot latte, and both the bean quality and brewing technique were top-notch. It definitely surpasses the average independent coffee shop. Sitting in the courtyard, sipping coffee, and listening to the rustling leaves was such a delightful way to enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

AAnonymous UserIt was okay, given the affordable price. It's relatively quiet and the location is great, right behind Longfor Tianjie, probably part of the same complex. The service style is more youthful, not like a Marriott. Especially when they say 'bye-bye' – it's quite young. It's not as professionally trained as a 1000-yuan hotel, but it's still acceptable. After all, the price reflects that, and I didn't have high expectations. The bedding and pillows were standard, so you can definitely get some sleep. The shower head was a bit weak, the sink's stone material felt a bit cheap, and the carpet could be better. But these are comparisons to a 1000-yuan room. For a price around 600, I think it's perfectly fine. I'd suggest adding some proper benches on the first floor, thank you. It always feels like I'm standing in detention there. No photos, by the way. Thanks.

Ccycat20The Four Seasons Suzhou is, without a doubt, the pinnacle of hotels in China in my opinion. It's located in the prime Jinji Lake CBD, a truly expensive area, yet it's built entirely to resort standards, with low-rise buildings and abundant greenery everywhere you look. I don't think there's another hotel in the entire country that meets this standard right now. The hotel's decor and design are grand yet understated, a blend of Eastern and Western aesthetics, with every corner being photo-worthy. From the front of the main building, you can see the Gate of the Orient to the left and the Cultural Center to the right, capturing the most beautiful skyline on both sides of Jinji Lake. Even the standard rooms are a spacious 55 square meters, and the bedding and toiletries are incredibly comfortable to the touch. Both the breakfast restaurant and the Chinese restaurant use high-quality ingredients and serve exquisite, delicious food. In addition to a standard gym, spa, and two swimming pools (the outdoor one offers a fantastic view directly facing the Gate of the Orient), the hotel also provides travel photography services, bicycle rentals, and a children's activity center with classes. A family could easily spend 24 hours here and not get bored. In summary, while the Four Seasons Suzhou is 100% more expensive than thousand-yuan luxury hotels or popular B&Bs, the overall experience is definitely more than 200% better, making it truly good value for money (they occasionally have special packages). If your budget allows, I genuinely recommend staying here for a night.

GGuest UserAs other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here. 1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail. 2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief. 3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down). There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident. Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

GGuest UserA hotel with a sense of design. The overall hotel is like the name of Orange Bay. The location is the only way to Xishan Island. The loft is set. The room is clean as a whole. The window is facing Taihu Lake. The bridge is on the edge. There are many friends, so it is slightly noisy at night. The smell of washing is very good. The balcony is very good to watch the sunset in the afternoon, but the sun is relatively strong during the day, no curtains are drawn, the light reflection is on the lake, you can blind your eyes, and the loft floor height is because the bed is on the second floor, the air conditioner can't blow into the second floor, so the temperature difference on the first floor and the second floor is very large, the second floor is very hot, the first floor is very cold, In addition, the hotel has an extra restaurant and coffee shop. Many people come to take pictures and punch in. If you stay in each room, you will send 2 free heart drink coupons. Oh yes, it is also pet friendly. Overall, it is very satisfactory. There is also a need to remind you that entering the hotel is a one-way bridge. If you drive to Xishan Island to play back, you have to turn around.

Mmaggie-wuThe price didn't even go up for the Dragon Boat Festival. I booked an executive room, which gave me access to the executive lounge, perfect for traveling with seniors and kids. From the 26th floor, you can catch a glimpse of Suzhou Center and Jinji Lake. The beds in the room were really soft and comfortable. I was very satisfied with the service at both the front desk and the restaurant. The B2 level is the parking lot, and B1 leads directly to Xinghai Square Station on Metro Line 1. The front desk is on the 4th floor. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, so I only have one photo of the executive lounge on the 25th floor.
