JJiafeibushimao~miaoLocation📍The hotel is right at the entrance of Shajiabang Scenic Area. It belongs to Huazhu Club with the Huajianting next door. The two share a courtyard. The children's playground of Manxinfu is also in the Huajianting next door. There is another Huazhu Club in the scenic area with a better price. Service: Smooth check-in, quick response, and children's toiletries and slippers are provided Facilities: The meal provided by the package is rich in variety. Coffee and bread coupons were given although they were not used. The family package in the package has a separate group purchase of 298, which tastes good. Breakfast is until 10 o'clock on weekends, with many choices and few Western styles. Let me talk about the points that I don't agree with: The fruit platter written in the 298 family package in the package was originally prepared to be packed, but the waiter asked if there were only 4 slices of watermelon. Haha, this platter... If you book a calendar room directly, you can upgrade the room, check out late, give souvenirs, and send bird watching coupons. There are none of them redeemed with group purchases. Bird watching coupons need to be bought by yourself for 50 per person😓

GGuest UserThe room had so much character, you could tell the owner put a lot of thought into every detail. The service was also incredibly attentive; the owner tried their best to accommodate all our requests. Highly recommend! And since it wasn't peak season, the room rate was quite reasonable too.

XXiaohuadidiThe hotel environment is great, and the rooms have just been renovated but there's no unpleasant smell. The service is excellent! I'd especially like to thank Tingting at the front desk, Wang Zhi from housekeeping for the beautiful flowers, Xiaoyun at the kids' club for helping me find my baby's water bottle, and Wu Dan for the generous fruit delivery. Overall, the service was fantastic! [smiley faces] It's also very suitable for children, as they can feed koi, bunnies, black swans, and ducklings. The children's play facilities are also abundant.

GGuest UserPros: 1. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, whether it was check-in or check-out, everything was great. 2. Good location. 3. The TV has international channels. Cons: 1. The breakfast was indeed disappointing. Not only was there limited variety, but the taste was very mediocre. Especially the two boiled eggs I took were undercooked, and clearly not meant to be eaten raw. Also, several people who seemed to be chefs were chatting loudly, although the waitstaff were all fine. 2. The room door and the bed were only separated by a gauze screen, so soundproofing was poor, and noises from outside the door were clearly audible. 3. The air conditioner vent was directly facing the bed and sofa, and I'm not used to cold air blowing directly on me. 4. The pond outside the balcony was quite poor, as shown in the picture. 5. My car's Sentry Mode detected that flyers were put on it overnight. 6. Regular toilet, no bidet.

YYikejiubaotaoTucked away amidst the bustling crowds of Pingjiang Road, there's a nature-inspired, incredibly soothing guesthouse called Song Zhi Yu 3. It brings century-old camphor trees and bamboo-shaded courtyards right into the rooms, offering a peaceful retreat in a lively area. I fell in love with it after just one stay! 🌳 A Forest Sanctuary Hidden in an Old Lane This guesthouse is a renovated Suzhou-style old house, preserving its traditional white walls and black tiles while incorporating modern, minimalist design. The huge courtyard features a towering century-old camphor tree, swaying bamboos, and gently bobbing water lilies. The air is filled with the fragrant scent of plants, instantly isolating you from the clamor of Pingjiang Road. The public areas are incredibly rich: a coffee bar, a bamboo-shaded tea room, a library, and even a misty sauna room. Imagine enjoying a sauna under the camphor trees – it’s peak zen and relaxation. 🛏️ Diverse Room Types, Pet-Friendly – Your Furry Friends Will Love It Too! The rooms boast a super gentle natural wood aesthetic. The bedding is so soft you won't want to get up. High-end Le Labo toiletries, a three-part bathroom (separate shower, toilet, and sink), and smart devices – every detail is meticulously thought out. There's even a tea set on the windowsill. Brew a cup of Biluochun tea and watch the bamboo shadows dance – it's incredibly therapeutic. 📍 Excellent Location It's a 3-minute walk to the main street of Pingjiang Road and 10 minutes to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. Step outside and you're immediately immersed in charming bridges, flowing water, and the soft sounds of Suzhouese dialects. The concierge provides a hand-drawn Suzhou food map, helping you discover all the authentic local delicacies. You can also borrow Hanfu/Qipao for free to take stunning ancient-style photos in the courtyard or by the moon gate – you won't have enough squares on Instagram for all your pictures!

GGuest UserThis hotel offers an excellent overall experience. Its design concept is innovative, seamlessly blending the gentle charm of Jiangnan water towns into its architecture and decor, creating a truly unique style. The lobby boasts an absolutely stunning view, offering expansive high-altitude vistas that are simply captivating. Sylvia's service was professional and friendly; she was efficient and meticulous, providing much assistance throughout our stay. The room was comfortable, the environment beautiful, and the views outstanding, with the service being a definite bonus. Our entire stay was exceptionally pleasant. And the breakfast was delicious!

Ccycat20The Four Seasons Suzhou is, without a doubt, the pinnacle of hotels in China in my opinion. It's located in the prime Jinji Lake CBD, a truly expensive area, yet it's built entirely to resort standards, with low-rise buildings and abundant greenery everywhere you look. I don't think there's another hotel in the entire country that meets this standard right now. The hotel's decor and design are grand yet understated, a blend of Eastern and Western aesthetics, with every corner being photo-worthy. From the front of the main building, you can see the Gate of the Orient to the left and the Cultural Center to the right, capturing the most beautiful skyline on both sides of Jinji Lake. Even the standard rooms are a spacious 55 square meters, and the bedding and toiletries are incredibly comfortable to the touch. Both the breakfast restaurant and the Chinese restaurant use high-quality ingredients and serve exquisite, delicious food. In addition to a standard gym, spa, and two swimming pools (the outdoor one offers a fantastic view directly facing the Gate of the Orient), the hotel also provides travel photography services, bicycle rentals, and a children's activity center with classes. A family could easily spend 24 hours here and not get bored. In summary, while the Four Seasons Suzhou is 100% more expensive than thousand-yuan luxury hotels or popular B&Bs, the overall experience is definitely more than 200% better, making it truly good value for money (they occasionally have special packages). If your budget allows, I genuinely recommend staying here for a night.

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

SSusuFull score experience! I was moved by the warm heart upgrade of the young lady at the front desk of Orange Bay ✨ This trip to Suzhou Xishan Island, choosing to stay at LIM·Orange Bay full lake view beauty hotel, is really the most correct decision on the trip! From check-in to check-out, the most pleasant surprise is that the front desk lady intimately helped me upgrade to the lake view suite with a bathtub on the viewing terrace for free. The service is directly full and the favorability is bursting! The homestay is located by the Taihu Lake, facing the first-line lake view. The overall design is artistic style. The red brick building is matched with the lake and mountains. It is a large-scale atmosphere. The proper ”Suzhou Xiaojizhou Island” has a sense of sight [( Trip.com )]. When checking in, the front desk lady was gentle and patient, and the communication was particularly comfortable. She also took the initiative to introduce the facilities of the hotel, the surrounding play routes and the best seats to watch the sunset. It was especially intimate. I never expected to upgrade the room type directly for me. This surprise is really heartwarming! The upgraded experience of the suite is directly full! More than 50 square meters of space is spacious and transparent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows introduce the beauty of Taihu Lake into the room, and the 270° view is absolutely amazing. Early in the morning, awakened by the mist and sunshine on the lake, sitting on the terrace wicker chair in the evening, watching the sunset dye the lake orange, the evening wind blowing, all fatigue has disappeared. The room is full of details, equipped with parsley washing, Leica hair dryer, Marshall speakers, the bathtub is facing the lake view, while taking a bath and enjoying the lake, the atmosphere is directly full. The bedding is soft and comfortable, the hygiene is particularly in place, the corners are clean, and it is particularly safe to live. The facilities of the homestay are also very complete, the public area is full of design, the stone wall is matched with wooden dome, and the photos are very good. Breakfast is exquisite Su-style flavor, small wontons, fried eggs with fruit platter, healthy and delicious [( Trip.com )]. The staff is attentive throughout the whole process, can respond in time to any needs, and can store luggage for free, provide parking services, and travel is particularly convenient. I really recommend friends who come to Xishan Island to choose this homestay! Invincible lake view, intimate service, comfortable room type, plus the warm heart upgrade of the front desk lady, make this trip to Taihu Lake particularly unforgettable, will definitely come again next time you come to Suzhou!

GGuest UserBanyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!
