KKuang KuangIt got off to a bad start; we were dropped off at the end of Daru Lane and the hotel was just across Shengli Brigde. Unfortunately there was a minor repair work along Pingjiang Road leading to Hotel, so we have to make a detour via Pingjiangli, Xiaojia Lane and Xuegao Bridge.
We were checked in with amicable and heartwarming hospitality. The receptionist provided us with extra breakfast coupons, helped with luggages, and showed us to our room. She gave us directions on where to go to hail taxi and the drop off points closest to the hotel. The housekeeping auntie was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and had strong air conditioning.
The location is perfect for exploring Pingjiang Road, Guanqian Steet and nearby attractions. We wandered along Pingjiang Road, explored alleys/stone bridges and attractions. We also did a walking tour for Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden and Lion Grove Garden.

The room was very clean, and the location couldn't be better – super close to Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road, just about 200 meters away. It was incredibly convenient. I'll definitely be back!

TTianmidejieziOur overall experience was fantastic! Amber contacted us in advance via WeChat and arranged for us to have rooms on the same floor, which was incredibly thoughtful. My absolute favorite part was the Social Hour from 5 PM to 6 PM daily. Stepping into Zhuhui 168, surrounded by water on three sides, instantly felt like being transported into a Jiangnan painting. The elegant Suzhou-style pavilions blend seamlessly with modern design. Sitting on the waterside terrace with a seasonal special drink, watching the light dance on the water, and listening to the rustling bamboo, truly brings the ancient verse 'Guests arrive for wine' to life. The drinks are exquisitely crafted, making it perfect for both solo relaxation and small gatherings. The room amenities were superb! The bedding was soft yet supportive, the smart toilet and constant-temperature shower had great water pressure, and the wet/dry separation was spotless. The high-speed WiFi was seamless, and the adjustable lighting made it comfortable for both work and rest. Breakfast was also excellent, with Suzhou-style noodles and savory soy milk alongside Western pastries like waffles – a delightful combination. The hotel truly imbues every detail with the slow pace of Gusu. Here, you don't need to rush to tourist spots; simply sitting in a corner allows you to connect with Jiangnan and experience Suzhou's unique refined charm. The environment is comfortable, and the overall feeling was wonderful. For this short trip to Gusu, choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision. It was a very satisfying experience, and I will certainly stay here again.

The warm and thoughtful service from the staff left a strong impression.
The hotel’s amenities and electronic appliances were carefully selected and of high quality, which I truly appreciated.
Overall, it is a beautifully curated and private boutique hotel in a great location.
I hope the hotel continues to maintain this level of quality and service in the future.

GGuest UserNow, I can sit here and tell you that we’re staying in an eco-friendly hotel that even though you’re inside its high glass windows gives you an outdoor vibe. I can even sit and talk about the saline pool, its state-of-the-art gym and list all the amenities; and I can even talk about the number of rooms and the fact that as we speak there’s an international summit going on here.
Somehow that won’t speak about my experience here at this hotel. Elements (by Westin) Suzhou Science & Technology Town does have all of the above BUT what I love about this hotel is its Staff. I love the fact that they seem to be always be here. I somehow believe that they live onsite because they’re always around.
In the morning, even before I enter the Salon I hear, “Nǐ hǎo Marsha” from the Breakfast Host, followed up by the nice lady in the Salon, smiling at me and ushering me to the coffee machine, while handing me my 2 brown sugar packs. She knows my morning habits so quickly. Not only that, because they knew Peter was missing from my breakfast table for a few mornings, they now signal to me with take away containers for Peter, to have his breakfast in the room.
When we need to go anywhere the young ladies at the Front Desk (no matter which Shift) are always either asking us where we need to go so that they can call a CASH taxi to get us to our destination. One of them even came with me one day to the Bank of China’s ATM and sat in the taxi while I went in and conducted my business and accompanied me to the Campus to visit Jon-Marc. Yesterday, one of them even used her own Didi account to get us transportation back to the hotel and we reimbursed her (and walked away while she was trying to give us back our change because we knew she wouldn’t have taken the Tip as is their custom). How else could we have shown her how grateful we were for her kind gesture?
Then there is Simon Jiang, the General Manager, who speaks perfect English and is always there to assist and offer suggestions of things to do and places to go. Simon was the one who actually explained to me that you can’t just walk into a pharmacy and get anything without a prescription. What I can tell you is that even though he is the GM he is always on hand assisting the staff with their work. Even though there is a clear hierarchy here, he takes off his jacket and assists in the kitchen, you can sometimes see him helping the older ladies bring out the heavy equipment (if needed) when they’re cleaning the floors, clear tables, etc.
Or Alex Ju, the Assistant General Manager, who accompanied Peter and I to the hospital and stayed and spoke with the doctor and the international insurance department on our behalf (in Mandarin) to make everything a little easier for us.
These people are the ones who have made my stay here memorable and I can honestly say that its because of them that I would recommend Elements by Westin in Suzhou to ANYONE who wanted a place to stay without hassle and with a host of helpful, courteous, friendly staff. It has been my pleasure having encountered such warm, friendly, delightful and gentle human beings.

GGelandataichuzhuangwangWe were given the largest room on the 5th floor, and since we arrived so late, I didn't get a chance to take photos. It was an absolutely fantastic room with a huge outdoor terrace featuring a dry landscape garden, lounge chairs, and a round table perfect for enjoying tea and relaxing. The private hot spring tub was also incredibly spacious. Inside, the room was huge, with a bar, a deep soaking tub, a mini-fridge, a tatami area, a sofa, and a separate wet and dry bathroom. The water pressure was excellent, and they provided L'Occitane toiletries. The hairdryer was a Dyson dupe with powerful airflow and hot, cold, and warm settings. Best of all, the ground floor has a market where you can buy local specialties and send them via SF Express. There's a shopping mall right next door, and Shantang Street is just a hundred meters away, offering everything you could want for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Plus, there's a pier nearby for night boat tours.

__WeChat262578****Unexpectedly, choosing Atour Hotel Suzhou Nanmen (Artron Hotel) at the last minute turned out to be the highlight of my trip. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; it's just a few minutes' walk from Nanmen North Road subway station, making it easy to reach Humble Administrator's Garden and Pingjiang Road.
The design is exquisite, perfectly blending the elegant charm of Suzhou with modern simplicity in both the lobby and rooms – I fell in love with it at first sight. The room was spacious and quiet, and the bedding was so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. I especially want to commend the front desk staff; they were warm and professional, proactively offering recommendations for local food and shortcuts, which made me feel truly cared for.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel because I wanted to try out this style, and overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience. The only minor drawback was that the location was a bit hard to find at first; after parking the car at the entrance of Pingjiang Road, we had to walk a distance, and the ground was uneven, which made it a bit challenging with luggage.
On the day of check-in, the front desk surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a bathtub, which was a really pleasant surprise. The front desk staff also had an excellent attitude, making us feel very well taken care of.
Additionally, upon check-in, thoughtful touches like small cookies, fruit, yogurt, and a welcome card were provided. These little details really enhanced the experience.
The only thing is that the lighting in the room was a bit dim. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't know how to operate it, or if it was designed that way. It would have been perfect if the lighting brightness could be adjusted.

GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel.
Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!
