"It was very late when I checked in at the hotel. On the same day, EMily chen, the front desk clerk, called me to ask when I could arrive at the hotel, and checked the reservation information (number of days and room type) with me. She also helped me upgrade for free, which was very good. The hotel has been open for a long time, and the room facilities are a little old. The front desk responded quickly when I reported the problem, which is also worthy of praise. The service is still in place. Overall, it is still very good! It is worth recommending."

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

LLinda LingThe services were very good, all the staffs including the receptionists and cleaning services are friendly and patience towards the guests. They have always been so fast to help the guests. In the other hand, the facilities inside so far were good. All the facilities used high technology that makes the guests easier to do their daily needs like bathing for example. This was the first hotel we visited that has a washing machine and kitchen inside, because of this we were able to wash our clothes and cook frequently than go outside to buy one. Overall, this hotel is recomended and if by any chance we could go back to SuZhou, we will go back to this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, and the family rooms even have a kids' play area on the same floor. The hygiene is excellent. It's located right across from the high-speed train station, just a 5-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel service is exceptionally thoughtful. We had to leave at 6:20 AM to catch our train and would miss breakfast, so the front desk packed us breakfast for two adults and one child. There was so much food, we almost couldn't finish it even after a 6-hour train ride! It felt like being showered with care. Definitely highly recommended!

The buffet restaurant has a comprehensive selection of high-quality dishes, perfect for children. A special thank you to Molly from Guest Experience for her incredibly thoughtful and meticulous service! She enthusiastically helped me book popular hotel restaurants, flexibly adjusted reservation times, and proactively introduced the hotel's family-friendly activities and attractions. Every request was met promptly and efficiently. Her kind and professional service made our stay with our child completely stress-free and comfortable. The experience was superb, and I wouldn't hesitate to choose the Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou again for our next vacation in Suzhou!

RRoulierouOverall, the hotel is very good, with a main building and a villa area, and shuttle buses are available for transfers. My child's favorite is the Chinese restaurant under Wanghu Tower because of the koi fish. What impressed me most was the hotel's service; you can really feel the high quality and enthusiasm of the staff. Special thanks to our butler Ella for her attentive service. My child loved feeding the small animals. Feed and vegetables can be bought at the front desk for 15 per portion, or you can bring your own (saw many families doing so). Food delivery can be brought to the room, and children's amenities are provided. My only suggestion is that the hotel doesn't separate pedestrians and vehicles, with external vehicles driving within the property, which feels unsafe for young children.

GGuest UserMy experience at the HUALUXE Suzhou Bay Hot Spring Resort was absolutely perfect! As an IHG property, the quality is consistently excellent. The new Chinese-style design is elegant and grand, with the lobby and public areas showcasing beautiful Oriental aesthetics throughout. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Opening the window revealed stunning views of Taihu Lake – truly breathtaking. Direct access to Wangyan Hot Spring is a huge plus; there are many pools, and the environment is serene. Soaking in the hot springs at sunset was incredibly therapeutic. The service was warm and attentive, with special thanks to Front Desk Manager Banxia for her thoughtful and meticulous care. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the dining overall was great. Parking is convenient. This is my top choice for a relaxing getaway, highly recommended!

Both the room views and the overall ambiance are impeccable. The decor is stylish and modern, and the facilities are comprehensive and high-end, making for a supremely comfortable stay. I must give a huge shout-out to my dedicated service butler, Regina. Her service was truly flawless! From initial inquiries to the entire check-in process, everything was perfectly arranged. She proactively and thoughtfully asked about my needs, made check-in efficient and smooth, and even patiently helped me plan my Suzhou itinerary. She meticulously introduced the hotel's services and tips for using the room amenities, all with professionalism and a gentle demeanor. During my stay, whether it was a small request or an unexpected issue, I received an immediate response. She handled problems efficiently and gracefully. Her service throughout was warm yet discreet; she never intruded but always showed thoughtful attention to detail, making my stay feel secure and pleasant. Both the hotel's quality and Regina's dedicated and thoughtful service were impeccable. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Suzhou! I'll be booking here again next time I visit Suzhou, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

DD0971****As other online reviews mentioned, don't expect much from the service here. 1. Usually, hotels have a butler escort you to your room and explain things, or at least wait at the door. On our check-in day, we arrived at our room to find the door open. A staff member in plain clothes suddenly emerged from the room, startling us. But that's a minor detail. 2. The public hot spring (gongtang) operating hours are 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM. However, when we went at 9:30 PM, after showering, ready to soak, we were told the 'golden' spring (jintang) was already being cleaned and we couldn't use it. Why couldn't anyone warn us when we entered or while we were showering? They started cleaning a full hour before closing, and there were 3-4 other guests in the women's bath at the time; everyone just looked at each other in disbelief. 3. On Tuesday, before checking out, I wanted to have one last soak, so I woke up early. But when I entered the women's changing room, all the lights were off (the locker access card still worked, so the access control wasn't off, and there were no 'closed' signs at the entrance). I had to call the front desk myself to find out it was closed on Tuesdays. No one mentioned this to us during check-in or at any other time, and it wasn't in the check-in guide. So, we woke up early for nothing. The front desk said it was mentioned on Ctrip (it was, but in tiny font about seven or eight pages down). There were also no compensation measures. When we checked out, there were even other guests who had driven over specifically for the hot springs, only to be told it was closed that day. They also made a wasted trip, so the unclear signage is definitely not an isolated incident. Other than that, the value for money is quite good, and the private hot spring (sitang) fees are reasonable, though the private springs only offer the 'silver' spring (yintang).

AAring172I chose Banyan Tree Suzhou for a high-intensity review during earnings season. I didn't have very high expectations before booking; I just wanted something quiet, clean, and with convenient dining. Driving here was incredibly easy – just stay in the left lane on the highway all the way. A big thank you to the hotel's hospitable ambassador, 'Alice Xiaoxiao,' who was very thoughtful and accommodating. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the beautiful Suzhou-style garden, especially the vibrant mix of red and green maple leaves. The hotel kindly upgraded my room, which I really appreciate. Photo 1 shows the delightful view from my bedroom. The hotel also offers various pillow types – down, memory foam, and firm foam – ensuring a good night's sleep. A spa treatment was a must, and as soon as masseuse Sophia started, I could tell she was a true professional. It was definitely worth experiencing, just as other reviewers had said.
